This overhanging door hook system is well made, durable, and looks nice — however the one major flaw is that it’s made for a door that is 1.85” thick, when the vast majority of interior doors are 1.375” thick, and even heavy duty doors are 1.75” thick — so it makes for a loose fit unless you secure it with screws.I really like that the hooks are mounted using a channel system, that keeps the hooks oriented vertically. They are adjustable side-to-side too, so it can accommodate a wide range of items. Installation is immediate unless of course you want it to be snug, which again requires the use of screws. That being said, even without a snug fit, it’s still fully functional and doesn’t move around or make a bunch of noise.It’s worth noting that the overhanging portion is also relatively thick, so it you have a really tight clearance between the top of your door and the frame, it may not work for you.

I didn’t expect to have much of an opinion about an over-the-door hook rack, but this is exactly the kind of simple organization item that ends up being way more useful than it looks.There’s no real installation involved, which is already a win. It just goes over the top of the door and immediately gives you a whole row of extra hanging space without drilling holes, measuring anything, or committing to permanent wall hooks.I especially like the number of individual hooks because I can spread things out instead of stacking three items on one hook and creating a giant pile. It works for robes, jackets, purses, reusable bags, hats, towels, kids’ backpacks, basically all the random things that somehow end up on chairs when they don’t have a designated place.The other big benefit is that it uses space I wasn’t doing anything with anyway. Floor space and closet space disappear fast, but the back of a door is just sitting there. This turns it into storage without adding another piece of furniture or organizer to the room.It also feels much more substantial than the flimsy single over-the-door hooks I’ve had before. I really like the look of this over-the-door hanger. It does require a little assembly. The hooks themselves are already installed, but you have to attach the pieces that hang over the top of the door. There are two screws pre-installed on each side that need to be removed, the over-the-door pieces attached, and then the screws put back in. I used my drill, and the job was pretty quick and easy.No tools are included, but all of the parts and screws needed for assembly are there. It also comes with pads to protect the door for scratching.I especially love the finish. It has a nice texture and a little bit of weight to it. It's made of metal, although I believe it's hollow, so it isn't overly heavy.I love the overall look, and it works beautifully for hanging my aprons in the kitchen.

The over door hook is heavy duty and sturdy. It fits perfectly over the top of the door. It hangs very well. This is sturdy and adorable. The hook does not touch the wall when closing and opening the door. The hooks that are on it are spaced kind of close together which causes some items to catch on each other when removing. The hooks are not deep and big enough to haul very large items or coats. The quality of the hook is very good. The cost is affordable and fair.

This over-the-door hook is one of those simple things that you end up using all the time. Assembly took me about a minute, so there’s really nothing complicated about putting it together.I especially like the little protective pads that come with it. They help keep the back of the door from getting scratched or damaged, which I appreciate since I have over-the-door hooks on just about every door in the house.The **gold finish looks really nice**, too, and the individual hooks are perfect for hanging things separately instead of piling everything onto one big hook. I can use them for coats, bags, hats, towels, robes, or whatever else needs a place to hang.Simple, attractive, easy to put together, and very useful.

This was easy to assemble and I had it up over the door in no time. Nice heavy duty metal with 6 moveable attached hooks. Use it over the door in your room, bathroom, anywhere you are able to use it. The instructions attest to 40lb capacity, not that we would ever need that, but this is a well made space saving way to hang towels, robe, clothes, etc. Price at a good point.
