Exactly what I hoped for!Exactly what I hoped for!

[Size: 10PC 2"SQ, Size: 10PC 2"SQ]
**Exactly What I Expected—and That's a Good Thing**For the price, these square bits are every bit of what I expected them to be—and in this case, that's a compliment. The magnetic retention is surprisingly good for a set at this price point. I didn't encounter any manufacturing flaws, and the bits appear to be well made and consistent from one to the next. There really isn't a whole lot more to say because they are exactly what was advertised, which is ultimately what I want from a basic set of tools. The cost-to-benefit ratio is terrific **if you actually need square bits**. They're not going to revolutionize your toolbox, but that's not what they were designed to do. They simply perform the job they're supposed to perform without giving me anything to complain about.I received exactly what I expected to receive, and that's becoming a surprisingly noteworthy attribute these days.I would buy from this brand again—whether I actually needed another set or simply wanted one sitting in the toolbox for the inevitable moment when I suddenly need one. And considering how much hardware I accumulate, that is actually pretty high praise.**Good bits, good magnetic retention, no manufacturing issues, and a very reasonable price. Sometimes "exactly what I expected" is the best review you can give a tool.**I sure hope you found this helpful with a 👍

Didn't anticipate needing these often, but when needed there's no substitute!

I ordered this thinking it would fill out the tool bag and might come in handy one day. Little did I realize at the time that I would end up having to replace a board on one of the stairs for our deck. Sure enough, had to find the right size for my driver, and viola! had it here. Board removed, board replaced, no problems and no having to run to find the right size bit for my driver, which was a real saver because who the heck used 8 point screws to build a freakin' deck (it came with the house, so I'll never know). The screws were NOT reused with the new board. A few points about these bits - they're magnetic, which was a lot handier than I thought for this task. They are apparently impact rated although I used a standard drill/driver for my purpose. They held up well for my task, but that only involved removing about 15 screws, but that was 15 screws that would have been a major pain without these being in the drill bag. They seem to be well made and constructed, and the work they saved me makes them well worth a five star rating!

I got these bits to fit specific types of screws that we have, and they work well. The slight magnetism definitely helps with alignment. They seem durable and well machined, but what I appreciate most is the organization factor. Each bit is etched with the specific size so even if you don't have them put away immediately, its' easy to sort and figure out which belongs where so you can sort them into their properly designated slots in the case. As someone that has a habit of setting things down and sorting them out later, this is truly helpful for me. Its much easier to find exactly what I need this way and I am going to look for similar features for other products in the future.

ROTATION Store: Double Square 10-Piece Bit Set, ¼” Hex Shank, 2” Long, Magnetic, S2 Alloy Steel

[Size: 10PC 2"DS]
ROTATION Store: Double Square 10-Piece Bit Set, ¼” Hex Shank, 2” Long, Magnetic, S2 Alloy SteelThis product is a set of “Double Square” pattern impact-rated screwdriver bits with a ¼” hex shank. The total length of the bits is 2.0”. The set includes ten (10) total bits with two (2) DS1 bits, six (6) DS2 bits, and two (2) DS3 bits. These bits are the “Double Square” size pattern on the drive end, a ¼” Hex Shank pattern on the driven end, and a length of approximately ¾” in between that serves to moderate the torque impulse from the driven end to the drive end. This “Tough Torsion Zone” design feature can flex slightly under load to absorb the energy of the drive impacts and then release that energy in between drive impacts. This shock absorbing torsion capability is used to smooth the impact pulse over time and further extend the life of the bits. Please note that these bits are the “Double Square” pattern which is not the same as the Torx pattern. They are different and are not interchangeable. The bits are made of S2 Tool Steel which is the preferred material for the manufacture of impact bits such as these. S2 tool steel is an ideal material for manufacturing impact bits. It is specifically engineered for applications that require resistance to shock loading and repetitive impact, which are the exact demands of impact drivers. S2 tool steel is a high-carbon alloy with specific elements added to enhance its characteristics. In addition to the carbon content of S2 Tool Steel, the steel formulation is further enhanced with the addition of Silicon, Molybdenum, Manganese, Chromium, and Vanadium. These elements serve to improve the steel’s toughness, elasticity, and impact resistance, prevent brittleness, and to increase wear, corrosion resistance, and improve hardness. These bits are finished with a fine black manganese phosphate finish. The bits are laser etched with the steel used for their manufacture (S2) and the size of the bits (DS1, DS2, or DS3). The manufacturer’s name (ROTATION) is applied to the torsion zone of the bit using a very thin polymer sleeve. These bits are enhanced with the addition of a magnetic tip to the drive end of the bits. The magnetic tip will allow the user to better secure the fastener being driven to the bit. The magnetic force is not excessive, but it is convenient. The bits are supplied to the user on a ten-position polymer bit bar.I have tested these bits with brand new fasteners that utilize the “Double Square” drive pattern. The bits fit perfectly into the fasteners with no evidence of looseness that could result in potential cam-out of the bit from the fastener. For most of my needs, these 2”-long bits are the best compromise as to length. I am very suitably impressed with this product.

Good quality set with multiples of the common sizes. Good value.

[Size: 10PC 2"SQ]
A nice high quality set of SQ drivers, with multiples of the most used sizes (SQ1, SQ2). My dad's deck was built in the 90's when - for whatever reason, Robinson/SQ drive deck screws were a thing. I had to help him tear part of it apart (steps area) and re-do it this fall. These drivers came in very handy and after removing (and reusing) probably 100 screws, the driver looks new still. I also use these on my RV, which has a TON of SQ1 and SQ2 screws on it. I will be leaving a couple of those driver bits in my RV tool bag, as the old driver set I had lost the SQ2.I like that it has a nice storage box and plastic holder, and the remainder will live nicely in my toolbox for the next time I run into these square head screws. Seems like many toys have them now too.

Perfect for Keeping Track of Square BitsPerfect for Keeping Track of Square Bits

[Size: 10PC 2"SQ, Size: 10PC 2"SQ]
I’ve used these square bits and they’re exactly what I needed. I’m always losing the short square-head bits that come in multi-bit boxes, so having a dedicated set makes it much easier to find the size I need. The 2-inch length is especially useful for reaching recessed screws, and the magnetic tips help keep screws in place while getting them started. The bits feel sturdy and engage the screws securely without slipping.I also like having multiple sizes together in their own storage case. If you regularly use square-drive screws and are tired of hunting through a mixed bit box for the right one, this set is a great addition to the toolbox.

Nice Set to Have When You Finally Need OneNice Set to Have When You Finally Need One

[Size: 10PC 2"SQ, Size: 10PC 2"SQ]
Square-drive screws aren’t something I run into very often, but that’s exactly why I wanted this set. For me, this is more about completing my collection of driver bits and knowing I have the right tool when the occasion eventually comes up. I already have plenty of Phillips, Torx, triangular and other specialty bits, and now I can add square-drive bits to the lineup. The set includes SQ0 through SQ4, with duplicates of some of the more common sizes. The bits appear to be well made, fit nicely in my impact driver, and the 2-inch length should be convenient for reaching screws without needing an extension.I also like the included holder and storage case. Specialty bits like these can easily disappear into a drawer or toolbox, so having a dedicated place to keep the whole set together, clean and easy to find is a definite plus.I may not need a square bit very often, but the next time I encounter a square-drive screw, at least I won’t be standing there wishing I had one.

Excellent fit with practically zero cam-out

[Size: 10PC 2"SQ]
I’ve used quite a few square-drive bits over the years, and the first thing I noticed with this set is how well the tips actually fit the screws they’re supposed to fit. There is very little slop between the bit and the screw head, and I’ve had basically zero cam-out while using them. That alone makes these much nicer to work with than some of the cheaper square bits I’ve accumulated over the years. The set includes SQ0 through SQ4, with two of each size, so you get a pretty useful range instead of ending up with ten copies of the same bit. The 2-inch length is also a good compromise. They’re long enough to reach into recessed areas and get past hardware where a standard 1-inch bit can be annoying, but they’re not so long that they feel flimsy or awkward in an impact driver. The machining on the square tips looks clean and precise. They seat deeply into the screw head and transfer torque well instead of wanting to climb out as soon as you put some pressure on them. That becomes especially noticeable when driving screws with an impact driver because a poorly fitting bit will start bouncing around and chewing up the screw head pretty quickly. These have stayed planted very well for me.The magnetic tips are another nice feature. They have enough pull to help keep a screw on the bit while you’re getting it started, especially when you’re reaching into an awkward spot or trying to work one-handed. I wouldn’t expect the magnet to suspend a huge fastener indefinitely, but for normal screws it does exactly what I want it to do.They’re made from S2 steel and have a black protective finish. So far I haven’t noticed any rounding, twisting, or deformation at the tips. I obviously can’t speak to what they’ll look like after a year of hard use yet, but my initial experience has been very good.I also like that they come in a small storage case. Square bits are exactly the kind of thing that disappear into the bottom of a tool bag, so having all five sizes together and clearly organized is useful. For $8.99, this is a lot of bit set for the money. The biggest selling point for me isn’t really the number of pieces or the magnetic tips. It’s simply that the bits fit the square-drive screws correctly. A screwdriver bit is only as good as its fit, and these have given me excellent engagement with essentially zero cam-out. That makes them easy to recommend.
