[Size: 13pc 2" Torx Bit Set, Size: 13pc 2" Torx Bit Set]
I’m cheating a little with this review because I recently reviewed another set of bits from the same general category, but I have to give credit where credit is due: I’m just as pleased with this set.For the price, these 2-inch security Torx bits are exactly what I expected. The S2 steel construction, 1/4-inch hex shanks, magnetic tips, and range of sizes from TT7 through TT40 make this a very useful assortment for anyone who works with tamper-resistant fasteners. The manufacturing quality appears to be very good. I found no obvious flaws, the machining on the tips is clean and consistent, and the magnetic feature works well. The 2-inch length is also a nice compromise—it provides some additional reach without turning the bit into an awkwardly long extension. Most importantly, the product description actually describes what you receive. I received the quantity, sizes, length, and general construction I expected, with no unpleasant surprises waiting in the box. That's becoming an increasingly important attribute when ordering inexpensive tools online. The cost-to-benefit ratio is good, particularly if you have a need for security Torx bits. If you don't need them, obviously they're not going to suddenly become indispensable just because they're sitting in your toolbox. But if you do need them, having a complete assortment like this available is considerably better than discovering you need one particular size when the project is already apart.Overall, I'm very pleased with this set. The manufacturing quality is good, the design is practical, and the description is accurate.**Would I buy from this brand again? Absolutely. In fact, I have a sneaking suspicion that some of these tools are going to become residents of my toolbox long before I actually have a legitimate excuse for ordering them.**And frankly, that's about as close as a tool review gets to a declaration of love. 😂I sure hope you found this helpful with a 👍

Pretty good set. The size range is what sells it, TT7 all the way up to TT40, when most sets give you three or four and leave you stuck the moment you hit something unusual. These are security Torx, so the tips have the center hole cut out. That means they handle tamper resistant fasteners as well as regular ones, and you're not buying a second set later when you run into a screw with a post in the middle.Worth knowing the count. It's 13 bits but 11 sizes, since there are two TT20s and two TT25s. Those happen to be the ones you burn through fastest so I don't mind, just don't expect 13 different sizes. They chuck up fine and hold in an extension without slipping. Two inches is long enough to reach into a recess without needing a separate extension for most jobs. The case is nothing special, though the holder strip labels each size clearly so you can grab what you need at a glance. It's fine for keeping them together but I wouldn't count on it surviving a toolbox long term.

I’ve used this Torx bit set for several repair and fastening jobs, and overall I’ve been pleased with it. The variety of sizes is helpful, and the 2-inch length gives me extra reach when working with recessed screws or tighter spaces. The bits fit my 1/4-inch driver well, and the tips have provided a good grip without excessive slipping. The storage box is also convenient for keeping everything organized. My only concern is that I’m not sure how well the bits will hold up under heavy, repeated impact use. For general DIY and maintenance work, though, this is a handy set to have.

I am really happy with this Rotation brand, 13 piece impact Torx bit set. The bits cover TT7 through TT40, including security Torx sizes which is perfect for most jobs. Made from tough S2 alloy steel and they handle impact drivers without rounding or breaking. The anti-slip magnetic tips, hold screws securely and make one handed work, easier. CNC machining, gives each bit precise dimensions for a snug fit every time. The 1/4 inch hex shanks, lock in firmly and the included storage box keeps everything organized. It is inexpensive, yet delivers professional quality, that feels built to last. Overall, this set has become a reliable addition to my tool kit and I highly, recommend it.

Great impact torx but set. In this set you get 13 pieces from size 7 all the way to 40. These are security trox bits which mean they have a security pin hole in the center. They are made of steel and are rated for impact, bud keep in mind it’s an impact from a 1/4 hex socket. If you try and out these on a 1/2 impact gun with an adaptor and use them, you’ll destroy them. These work perfect for taking out the security trox on my tool batteries for when I need to check the battery or manually balance the cells. Each bit is laser etched with the size so it’s easy to identify. It also comes with a bit holder which makes it very convenient.Overall, I think these are a great set and value. I would 100% recomend them.

This is a very well made 13-piece set of magnetic, impact-rated Security Torx driver bits with 1/4" hex shafts that are compatible with many handheld screwdriver bit holders, power screwdrivers, drills and impact drivers. These impact-rated driver bits are reportedly manufactured from "S2 alloy steel with heat-treated processing for enhanced durability and wear resistance."The product works well and shows no signs of wear after my initial testing. Of course, as with any fasteners, care should be exercised if you're using impact type tools, making certain that the Security Torx fasteners are rated for use with impact tools. These bits are specifically designed for use with the Security Torx fasteners (the Torx fasteners with the 'pin' in the center), but they can also be used with any standard Torx type fasteners. The magnetic fastener-holding ability of these bits is a bonus that some other impact driver bits don't include. The thirteen impact driver bits are inserted into a rubberized plastic holder, and a good quality, clear plastic storage box is included. Each of the driver bits is laser etched with its corresponding size ('TT7', 'TT8', 'TT9', 'TT10', 'TT15', 'TT20' [2], 'TT25' [2], 'TT27', 'TT30', 'TT35', and 'TT40') and with the steel hardness rating ('S2').Priced at $9.99 (at the time of this review) for the 13-piece set of high quality, magnetic, impact-rated Security Torx driver bits, that includes a rubberized plastic holder marked with the individual bit sizes and a clear plastic storage case, this product is fairly priced. However, it's significantly higher priced than at least one set, and priced the same as at least one other set, both of which are similar or identical quality options with many more pieces available on Amazon.Specifically, I observed a 36-piece set that includes a combination of 1" and 2.3" long, 'T5' through 'T40' Security Torx impact-rated bits made of S2 steel, that include three rubber bit holders and a plastic case, priced at $7.99. I also found a 29-piece set that includes a combination of 1" and 2" long, 'T7' through 'T40' Security Torx impact-rated bits made of S2 steel, that include two rubber bit holders and a plastic case, priced at $9.99.Because of the availability of these two (and other) similar, and in some ways better, impact-rated, Security Torx driver bit sets at prices that are either lower or that provide a larger variety of driver bits at the same price, I'm deducting one star from this review. This reduction is in no way reflects the quality of the product, but rather, only the price and/or quantity of bits provided.About my Amazon Vine review:Vine is an invitation-only program that selects trusted Amazon reviewers to order and receive a limited variety of products for free in exchange for honest, thorough, unbiased reviews. These are tamperproof torx bits, so it looks like a regular torx screw, but has a post in the middle. You can’t use a regular torx head screwdriver on those and you can’t just knock the post out of the middle so you need a set of screwdrivers like these, you will commonly find them on appliances like microwaves, for instance, and there will be one or two that hold the case together unless you have this special tool in which case you’re good to go

Nothing much to complain about with these. They look to be good quality, and the machining is clean. These are the security Torx version with the hole in the center of the bit, so keep that in mind if you specifically need standard Torx instead. There's a good range of sizes included, and they even duplicated a couple of the more popular ones, which is a nice touch. I do wish they'd also included a second T15 though, that's a size I use a lot and is really common, especially for woodworking screws.Too early to judge long term durability, so if these end up wearing prematurely I'll come back and update this review.I ordered these to replace my several year old name brand set, which has served me well up to this point. Hopefully these hold up just as good over the long haul, so far the initial quality gives me a decent amount of confidence.
