This is a very robust solar exhaust fan and it appears to work as advertised when installed in the right circumstances. I like that it runs on solar power and includes a smart thermostat, although I wish the thermostat had a wider temperature range.An attic fan shouldn't be the first step in cooling an attic. Air gaps should be sealed first, followed by proper insulation, and then a fan can help if it's still needed. Installing a fan without addressing those issues can actually increase energy costs or make it feel warmer without fixing the underlying problem.The thermostat only goes up to 113°F, while attics in warmer climates can reach up to 140°F, so this isn't a one size fits all solution. It's better suited to smaller attics, garages, or similar spaces in mild climates.In the right application, this is a great fan that works as intended. Just make sure you research your needs and install the appropriate equipment.

I wanted to upgrade the underperforming fan in my shed with something that could push far more airflow, so I picked up this solar roof vent fan to mount on the shed’s side wall. Right out of the gate, I could tell a massive difference—it circulates way more air while running surprisingly quietly.My shed has no wired electricity, so I’m running this purely on solar power, and it performs flawlessly. The fan unit feels premium all around: the protective shroud and full mounting hardware are solid metal with excellent craftsmanship, no flimsy cheap plastic anywhere. I didn't know what to expect of this solar panel roof fan. Since we're building a shed, I was willing to give it a try! We're still in the middle of building the shed so I haven't put this on my roof, but I have put together a video of us turning it on. On. We are happy with the fact that it's really well made. It's a nice metal unit and it has a solar panel on the entire roof meaning both slopes of the roof.It has cute attractive feel to it, and I'm really grateful for this. I do not want to build a shed and have it develop mold. One of the best ways to do that is to have a fan in the Attic of home or shed.It also has a very strong wind, but low sound! It put out a really excellent airflow, but you'll see what I mean in the video I think. And it was super easy to put together too! All of these are bonuses!Thank you! ❤️JijP.S. Don't quote me on that, but I was surprised by how long the plug-in cord was. This can also be used by solar only, which is why it has two sides to the remote use.
