Great blacklight. Small but bright. The little arm helps prop it up very nicely.

I have the "30 W" model and it's very bright as can be seen by the effects. A glass of tonic water glows nicely under it, as do various other things with dyes meant to make their colors brighter (white cloth, paper). Glow-in-the-dark items get well charged, especially the strontium aluminate type that lasts longer then the older zinc sulfide type.This might be "only" UVA (at 365nm) but it's is still UV and 365nm is more energetic than the more common 395nm. It's great for seeing fluorescence, but staying close to this source for a more than a short time seems unwise. Wear the UV shielding glasses - not included.The light source is hefty and feels well built. Holding by it hand for a short time, it does get warm and over a long time I would expect it to get hot. Have a proper mount and perhaps a small fan for extended use such as curing.

365nm uv is not the norm and it looks different. does different things to cures, and renders flouroescence differently. the metal chassis and glass were impressively sturdy. you could probably use this as an oddly shaped brick if you needed toheat management and output seem well planned. does the thing good!
