Excellent Product! Replaced my 20-year-old 4-tube wraparound, surface-mount kitchen fixture with this unit. It is very lightweight and produces a brighter light than my old kitchen light. Easy to install. The price was very reasonable. Would recommend this LED unit!

Very bright, but can be dimmed and colors changed from warm, cool or daylight. It was fairly easy to install. We took an old light down and installed this florescent one using the same connections. Viola! I am very pleased. I bought a second one for another class room at church.

My old fluorescent lights went out. I tried universal LED bulbs and they didn't work. I assumed the ballast went bad so decided to change over to LED. I have it at its highest settings since I do a lot of tinkering in my garage. This light was super easy to install and is very bright. I am very satisfied with the light. There is one thing I would change about the light. When you wire it you can see the bundle of wiring when light is on. I taped my connection to the body of the light to minimize it. If the wiring isn't affixed to the center, then a shadow could be cast by the light.

When we first installed the light it appeared to be great. There is a slight delay when you first turn it on, but not terrible. it is bright. We didn't notice it during daylight hours, but at night time, this light is still on with a very low power.. almost light a nightlight glow. And that glow flickers. Very annoying! We are going to reverse the power wires white/black to see if that makes a difference. Our switch is NOT a dimmer switch, it’s a standard on/off switch.Edit to add: after doing some troubleshooting it appears we have a bad electrical ground that is causing the issue. When the ground was disconnected from the light, the light works great!

These three four feet LED fixtures replaced similar length (two bulb) fluorescent fixtures I installed about twenty years ago. They are lighter, largely because they have no ballast, and are easy to install. I put them on the bottom of floor joists in my basement. They are very bright, and while there are three wattage and coolness settings, I have just left them on maximum but some time I may adjust them for a warmer light effect. I notice that these are suitable for garages too so in the future I'll be getting two more of these to replace the fluorescent fixtures I put up in my two stall garage years ago. This all started when I put new bulbs in the three basement fluorescent fixtures only to have first one, then a second ballast go bad. Ever try to buy a ballast in today's 'energy efficient' world? I just decided to go LED and these lights looked like about as good a deal as I was going to find. I have not been disappointed. I was glad that I watched the installation video because it reminded me of the method of taking off and reinstalling the diffuser which is a bit tricky but not too big a deal. This is a very common attachment method on lower priced light fixtures and getting the plastic end cap to open just enough to get the end of the diffuser to slip in place can try a person's patience, practice makes perfect. Update- I bought four more of these. Two of them replaced two four bulb fluorescent fixtures (four feet long bulbs) in my basements and these LED units put out more light than even these four bulb units did. Two of these Hykolity fixtures replaced two 2 bulb, four feet, fluorescent fixtures in my garage. The garage is now bathed in daylight, even at night.

I purchased the 4' fixture with three "wattages" and three color temperatures. It is now installed over a workbench in my basement area and provides plenty of diffuse light. This was just what I was hoping for and it came at a very reasonable price. One of the reasons that I selected this fixture was that it provided a 3000K color temperature choice, matching some other downlights in the same area. After installing and trying the different settings I ended up preferring the middle, 4000K setting.To satisfy my curiosity I made some comparative measurements with a light meter and wattmeter. I say comparative since my light meter and method of measurement was inadequate to ensure an absolute accurate reading. But it was useful to compare the settings. I found that the middle 4000K setting produced the most light and also had the highest efficiency. At 6' directly below the fixture, the meter showed 653 lux and the power consumption was 62W. The lowest power setting only drew 44W but produced 501 lux. I do trust my wattmeter, so the maximum 66W drawn at 5000K, brightest setting is below the specified 75W. Perhaps the LEDs are more efficient since the spec was written, or possibly the light output is down by that amount. In any case, these are just numbers and there is not that much difference between them, so just choose the settings that you prefer.I might note that the wiring access is pretty standard: one 1/2" KO centered on the back of the fixture, and one on each end.When received I noticed rattling in the box. This turned out to be the screws and plastic wall anchors that had fallen out of the plastic bag, and were knocking about inside the fixture among all the exposed LED chips. The manufacturer might take some better precautions with that packing, but in my case it caused no problem.
