I'm ok with using these sharkbite type valves under a sink. If you make sure the pipe has no defects and is clean, there shouldn't be any leaks for the life of the valve. These are so cheap I like to keep them handy in case I just need a 1/2" cap to cap a line.

​I ordered this ten pack while fixing up two bathrooms in our home, and they worked out really well for the project. Moving old rusty valves out and putting these in took way less time than I expected. The chrome finish on the brass looks really clean under the sink, and the metal itself feels heavy and solid in your hand rather than cheap or thin.​Pushing them onto the existing copper lines was straightforward, and I did not have any issues with leaking once the main water line was turned back on. The quarter turn handle is smooth to operate and shuts the flow off immediately without having to twist a knob around five times. Having the disconnect tool included in the box was a nice bonus, especially when I needed to adjust one of the positions slightly.​Overall, I am very happy with how these performed. They made a job I was dreading go smoothly, and the quality seems like it will hold up fine over time. I would definitely grab another set if I tackle the kitchen plumbing next.

Moved into a new home only to find many under sink valves seized up from non use or the plastic valve stems broke. These quarter turn valves are great replacements that will improve the reliability and operation of the valves. These valves are well made, the valves operate smoothly and the push connections help to simplify the install (and removal if needed). They use a common 3/8 compression fitting to connect your sink hoses. Tip, mark your hot and cold lines before removing the lines (I use a sharpe and mark the wall over the valve). These are quality valves offered at a good value and I would recommend.

These are great little shutoff valves. I really like the push-to-connect design because installation is basically push, set, and forget. It makes the job much quicker than dealing with traditional compression connections on the supply side.The quarter-turn operation is another feature I prefer. A simple 90-degree turn gives you an easy and obvious on/off without repeatedly turning a handle.The brass construction feels solid, and having 10 valves in the pack is perfect when you're working on several sinks, toilets, or other plumbing fixtures.Overall, these make plumbing installations quick, clean, and simple, and I'm glad to have extras on hand for future projects. 👍🔧🚰

This is just like the name brand box store version without the price tag. Ball valve for durability, in my experience, the old multi turn valves always leak when you turn them off for changing faucets etc, requiring you to turn off the main water supply anyway to replace the stop valve. Fortunately with the ball valves, that isn't near as likely. And if it does, this push to connect valve can be easily removed, well sort of... once they have been installed for awhile the release isn't quite as easy.I am not a particular fan of the push to connect fittings, as they will likely leak at some point. But as long as they are not behind the wall where replacement is difficult they are an okay option. Fits nominal 1/2 inch copper, pex or CPVC pipe.Meets all the plumbing codes (UPC) ANSI61 lead free for drinking water standards!Recommended buy!

CHROME PLATED PUSH ANGLE VALVE:STANDOUTS: This is a brass PUSH fitting for plumbing pipes and supply lines. Note they are different than PRESS fittings that you have to crimp. This is a 1/4 turn angle valve and 3/8” OD fitting.WHAT I LIKED: I liked NSF/ANSI 61 UPS and “lead free” on the knob. I almost always like push connection fitting. I like 1/4 turn too.WHAT I DID NOT LIKE: I did not see anything to not like.FAMILIARITY AND USE: I have reviewed quite a number of plumbing valves and fittings. These are the classic modern push valves that go under the sink and next to the toilet. Just make sure you can connect to 1/2” pipe not a threaded fitting coming out of the wall. And double check your supply lines are 3/8”. These are very nice valves.SETUP: Install is easy, with you only needing to push them onto your already prepared pipe. No crimping needed with a crimping tool. The other end ready for your 3/8” OD pipe or threaded fitting on your supple line.THE DETAILS: These are for 1/2” plumbing pipe which is approximately 5/8” on the outside and 1/2” on the inside. You need to prepare your pipe by removing sharp edges that might harm the o-rings. The pipe also needs to be smooth where the o-ring makes contact in order to seal. Note these mention they are for PEX, copper, and CPVC pipe. OD stands for Outer Diameter.IN USE: These work great and save a lot of time. I am using these to correct poorly done plumbing that goes to shutoff valves so they don’t stick out of the wall crazy amounts. I will cut off the threaded fitting on the existing pipe and connect to the pipe itself. Plus they are lead free!MATTERS MOST: Smooth 1/4 turn that fits 1/2” PEX, copper, and CPVC. Lead free.
