These are high quality aluminum rock lights. They are well engineered and manufactured. The cables and connectors are also sturdy and well designed. My only complaint would be the length of the cables. They are too short to work on a full size pickup, and require the purchase of the cable extention kit. So if you are purchasing for a full size pickup, plan on that extra expense.Outside of that , I recommend this light kit, and have ordered a second kit as 4 lights just wasn't enough for my full size truck.I rate this kit at 4 stars for overall quality, functionality, BRIGHT leds, and good value for the money. I held back one star due to the short length of the cables, requiring the purchase of an extention kit.

Installing this 4-pod pure white LED rock light kit transformed the underglow look of my rig and made night driving so much easier. The 6500K output from the 144 chips is intensely bright, throwing a clean, crisp white light that easily illuminates the terrain around my tires. I was thoroughly impressed by the solid aluminum construction of each pod, which feels built to take a beating from trail debris without cracking. Wiring everything up was a breeze thanks to the pre-wired harness, included switch, inline fuse, and extension cables that gave me plenty of reach. The IP68 waterproof rating has held up fantastically through heavy mud, pressure washing, and deep puddle splashes without a single drop of condensation building up inside the lenses. Having the complete play-and-plug kit saved me a ton of setup time and eliminated the hassle of sourcing separate electrical accessories. They add both functional visibility for late-night technical trails and an awesome, polished look when parked. Overall, this kit offers unbelievable brightness, bulletproof durability, and a straightforward installation that makes it worth every penny for any off-road build.

These LED light pods put out an impressive amount of light, and the aluminum housing on all four pods makes a real difference. The metal casing adds extra protection against bumps and debris while also helping with heat dissipation, which is a big deal for lights that run hot. The 6500K white output is clean and bright, exactly what you want when you need visibility under your vehicle on trails or in low-light situations. The wiring setup is well thought out. All four harnesses are well-made, and the O-ring screw-tight connections give you a genuinely watertight seal rather than just hoping the connectors hold up in wet conditions. The kit also includes a 15-amp inline fuse for safety, and you actually get three fuses total in the box, so you have backups on hand if you ever need them. That kind of attention to detail is appreciated.Installation is straightforward thanks to the plug-and-play design and pre-assembled connectors. Everything you need comes in the box, including zip ties, foam pads, and a power kill switch. If you're looking for a set of rock lights that are well-built, genuinely bright, and come with a complete wiring kit, this one checks all the boxes.

I picked up this four-pod rock light kit for my Jeep and haven't installed it yet, but my first impression after opening everything up is very good. I wanted a simple pure white setup rather than RGB lights with an app and a bunch of features I'll probably never use, and this kit looks like it should be exactly what I need. The aluminum housings are one of the first things I noticed. They feel solid and durable, which is important for something that's going to live underneath a Jeep where it will eventually see water, mud, dirt, and road debris. The pods have a nice weight to them, the lenses look good, and the wiring and connections appear to be put together well.I also like that this is a complete pre-wired kit. The harness, switch, extensions, and fuse are already included, so I shouldn't have to piece together a bunch of additional components just to get everything installed.Obviously, I can't comment on brightness or long-term durability until I get them mounted and spend some time using them. Based strictly on what I've seen out of the box, though, they look very well made and considerably more durable than some of the inexpensive plastic rock lights I've handled. I'm looking forward to getting them installed on the Jeep and seeing how the 6500K white light looks at night.

I used these 4-pod pure white LED rock lights for a slightly different application than your typical rock light installation. I wanted some serious lighting on the rear hatch of my Mercedes-Benz GLK350, so I paired these with an XT60 waterproof panel-mount connector and powered everything with a separate 3S LiPo battery. The setup worked perfectly! The four pods put out plenty of bright, clean white light and completely light up the area behind the vehicle at night. They're great when I'm loading or unloading something, working around the back of the vehicle, or just need extra lighting without having to rely on the factory cargo lights.Using the XT60 panel made the installation even better because I didn't have to tap into the GLK's factory electrical system. I can simply plug a battery into the XT60 connector when I need the lights, and I'm ready to go. When I'm finished, unplug it and put the battery away. Simple! The aluminum housings feel solid, the lights are bright, and they worked great with my custom battery-powered setup. If you're willing to think outside the box, these aren't just rock lights—they make excellent auxiliary work and hatch lights too.

This is the second time I've installed some lights like these so I have some experience putting them in. I can tell you for starters that these are good quality lights that have a good waterproof and weather resistant casing around them. They have a lightweight aluminum shell that is durable and the kit comes with hardware to mount and install. Here's the thing, it's not really universal and you may opt for a different set up which I did because these screws were actually not the best. That's totally a choice though. Overall, it's just a few extra dollars to step up the installation game to a premium set up. The original also uses zip ties which come in handy but I prefer larger ones. Like I said, totally a preference thing. As far as the lights go, they look great. There's an on and off switch that I have access to, or you can wire them to come on with your lights. Check your local laws though about that. Furthermore, there's lots of videos on YouTube that you can look up to check out how these look and how to install them. I usually get this done in under 2 hours installation time but I do have my own tools and I also prefer to use my own screws and zips.

I picked up this rock light kit and installed it on my Explorer, and I have been really happy with the results. The lights are extremely bright, and the pure white color gives the vehicle a clean, modern appearance without having a blue tint. The pre-wired design made installation much easier than expected. Having the wiring harness, switch, fuse, and extension cables included saved a lot of time since I did not have to source additional parts. Everything connected together nicely, and the installation process was straightforward.Once installed, the lights provide excellent coverage underneath the vehicle. They are bright enough to light up the ground well at night and are useful both for appearance and for seeing around the vehicle in dark conditions. The aluminum housings feel solid, and the waterproof construction gives me confidence that they will hold up well through rain, snow, and normal driving conditions. The overall build quality is better than I expected for the price. My only complaint is that routing the wiring neatly still takes some time and planning. While the kit is well designed, taking the extra effort to secure and hide the wiring makes for a much cleaner finished installation.Overall, this is an excellent rock light kit. It was easy to install on my Explorer, the lights are incredibly bright, and the complete wiring kit makes it a great value for anyone looking to add underbody lighting.
