The package gives directions to easily put the items together. The lanterns each come with terrible directions that are unreadable so I appreciate the better instructions. I was very confused by the pom-pom instructions as it doesn't appear to be any in this set so I guess they sell those in some other sets.I used them to decorate my room for an "illuminate" themed Vacation Bible School and it worked well. I used LED tea lights to put inside the lanterns and it was difficult to get them inside the lanterns and well as stay inside so you will likely need a larger puck light or something so it doesn't fall out.

The variety of shapes, sizes, and finishes is very appealing visually. The best part is that they’re so easy to assemble. So many sets like this have poms included, which are very cute, but they also take a while to fluff. This set went from box to in place in five minutes flat. I very much appreciated that ease of use. The fringe has a taped edge. All you do is pull it off and stick it in place. If you don’t want it to be adhered for the full length, you can just pull off a small section where you want to tack it in place.Cons: The tape on the fringe is VERY sticky and very hard to remove. It’s best to adhere it to another disposable item, or to loop it around the item and tack it to itself. We tacked it to a decorative metal frame, and even with cleaner and a scrubby sponge I couldn’t get it off. I’m going to try alcohol and a magic eraser next, but I am worried about ruining the finish.Honestly, the only con is a super easy work-around. The product is adorable, and the ease of use is phenomenal. The price is comparable to similar items of the same quality. Well worth the small investment for the look. Also, everything other than the fringe is very easy to fold down and use again. I would happily purchase in the future.

This is the first time i have purchased these decorative items. They are amazingly simple to put together. Putting them "together" is really overstating it. For most of them, you just have to take a flat item and flip it around to make a circle. And they really look impressively good for the minimal effort. All these items make a big difference in the decorating scheme. I really hate messing around with balloons. I think they are overrated for too much effort. I plan to place these around florals and candlesticks at a party. They will definitely look great. The gold colors are attractive and the various shapes, sizes and nuances of color add interest. I think they are well worth the cost for the impact they will make. I am thinking I will use some of the black ones with my gothic decor around halloween. Maybe! I recommend this kit. I am impressed!
