We had been using the rechargeable magnetic stick lights under our cabinets in the kitchen. Even though they worked just fine, you would have to always remember to take them down to recharge when the batteries got low and then you would have to go to each one to individually turn them on as needed. This set of V4light Ultra Thin lights came as a pack of 6 which was just right for spacing out under our cabinets. The are powered via a 110vac plug in so once installed and plugged in, I only need to turn them all on via the inline switch that we conveniently mounted near our sink. Installation is simple if you don't need to extend wires to go around the sink opening or anything like that. I had a spot where our sink splits the cabinets, and I needed to go get some wire that I could use to splice into the included wires so that I could make the distance around the sink (and window frame). I think that there are so many kitchen cabinet designs that include a split where a sink is located that this set should include at least one long wire extension that could replace the normal-length wires. Other than the suggested extension, all other necessary hardware is included to attach the light strips as well as manage the wire routing to keep it all up and out of sight. Once installed, you can easily change the color temperature from a warm 2700K to a brighter 6500K, as well as adjust the overall brightness. Once fully installed, they are completely out of sight. The only thing visible is the light illuminating my countertops. The included instructions are easy to follow and give multiple options for installation methods depending on your needs. There is also an included wireless remote control, but I seem to have intermittent issues with it. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. I don't know if it's the placement or location of the receiver, so it might not be the remote control's problem. Overall, this set of light strips looks great, works perfectly, and should last for years to come. Highly recommend.

Cool little kit of six light bars. Kit includes everything I need including the wiring, adhesive backed guides, remote. Lights are very narrow in profile, but throw a good amount of light for their size. I like that they are a bit shorter, but since there are six of them, fitting them under the counter between the cabinet supports was easier. The one thing that needs to be improved is the wiring used -- it is somewhat thin, but not very thin, so it is something that needs extra care to stick under the cabinet and conceal. I suggest that V4Light work on improving this aspect of their kit. The other thing I like is the basic on/off switch -- it is not one of those tiny bubble type switch modules, but a nice large button that depresses with a good feedback to me. The remote is nothing special, controlling the power, color, and on/off. Overall, good kit: thin, easy to install, complete, works good, but the wiring remains a substantial physical issue that needs to be properly managed.
