Socket Ceiling Fan Light

This fan light was just what i was looking for. It provides for a bright LED lighted work space. The fan is small and as such there is only a modest airflow created. Don't expect ceiling fan airflow.I installed this over my work bench by simply screwing in the provided socket extension into an old can light receptacle.Assembly was pretty easy just snapping the fan blades in place and if necessary screwing on the socket extender. Finally, the light has a remote to control the intensity of the light and fan speed.Gives good light and circulates just enough air so as to not disturb the material on my bench but still moving the air. It was inexpensive and I have been running it for over a month about 18hrs a day. It's so far reliable.

When I got this light, I had one specific place I had in mind. I plan on putting this light in the laundry room at my daughter’s house. It will work perfectly for that space. The area has a light socket with a pull chain and is in a room that is no more than 7 feet wide and 15 feet long. The light will sit directly above the aera in front of the washer and dryer. It will provide a good amount of light along with a nice breeze to help when laundry is being worked on.Because I will not be installing this at my daughter’s house for several days, I first tested this light in my basement. It performs perfectly. There was very little assembly needed as all you had to do was click the fan blades into place and screw on the extender. The fixture itself clips into the socket and extender, so you do not have to hold and rotate the entire light fixture to screw it into your ceiling socket. You screw in the extender and mount and then slide-clip the light fixture into place. It is relatively simple, and I did not read the directions. (I recommend you read them.)The fan is not very strong, but perfect for a smaller space like a laundry room. The light can be changed from bright white to soft white with the remote. You can also change the fan speed and dim the lights. The fan is very quiet even at the fastest speed.If I had to find a fault or weakness it would be that the only control for this light and fan is the remote – so don’t lose it. Without the remote this light and fan will become useless. There is no app control to use your phone as a backup remote. The remote worked perfectly to control all functions as soon as I added batteries. Overall, if you never break or lose the remote, this is a great solution for a smaller area that only has an overhead light socket.

I put this in a room that needed both better light and a little air movement, but didn’t have room for a traditional fan. It won’t replace a full-size ceiling fan in a big space, but for a smaller area it makes a lot of sense.

Takeaway: Bright LEDs, responsive controls, acceptable airflow — just larger than expected.This LED light/fan combo turned out bigger than I expected for a standard lamp socket, but so far the socket is holding it without any issues. The LEDs are bright, and the four‑quad layout gives the light a nice dimensional spread instead of a single flat panel.The remote is excellent — quick response, no lag, and the ability to shift the LED temperature from warm to cool is a great touch. I was surprised to see only three fan blades, but airflow is still perfectly acceptable for a gentle breeze. There appear to be three fan speeds, and while none are strong enough to replace a real fan, they’re sufficient for light air circulation.Overall, a clever combo device that works well and adds versatility to any standard socket.

This product was received very quickly after ordering. It was on-schedule and on-time and very well though plainly packaged But, most importantly, everything was appropriately cushioned and was in undamaged brand new perfect condition. This is a very well-thought-out and well-constructed device that combines an adjustable-speed ceiling fan with bright LED lights. It comes in a very few pieces that need to be assembled but that can be done easily with no tools needed. The materials are quality plastic and the blades of the fan in particular are a kind of simple clear plastic material. In fact the three fan blades are rather small. The socket extender is a very welcome addition to this product and if you don’t happen to want or need to use it it could easily be repurposed elsewhere. Despite it’s small size, the fan does do a creditable job circulating air especially at the high speed. The LED lights arranged in the circles are the standout feature of this product however. They’re quite attractive and effective at throwing oit good light in all directions and it does a good job illuminating a medium and especially small-sized room. The intensity and color temperature is adjustable from warm to cool. Overall this is a rather impressive product! I like it quite a bit! I had not really seen anything else like it before. It’s a great fan/light for a rec room or family room without the need for any hard-wiring when there is a light socket. It’s not really a formal style level of elegance but not plain either. The remote also works well! It’s powered by a small replaceable battery. There does not appear to be an alternative way to control the light so I definitely plan to make sure this remote does not get misplaced! For $38.99 I think this is a good value for what you’re getting. Definitely recommend it!
