There are two flashlights in this set, and they are incredibly bright for such small, reasonably priced flashlights. There are five modes with three levels of brightness, as well as strobe and SOS modes. You can also alternate between a flood light and a focused beam of light. The various modes make it a versatile tool that can be used in different situations, including situations in which you need assistance. The size (5.4 inches) makes it small enough to fit in a pocket, and the style of the flashlight is attractive and comfortable in your hand. It has a nice weight to it- not overly heavy, but enough to fell substantial. The light from these flashlights is very bright, so they should be kept from young children who might look directly into the light.

I have ordered a number of small flashlights mainly for drawers in night stands, kitchen drawers, end bales, etc. that are easy access for my wife and I, family members and guests that visit our lake home in the event of a power outage. But these EverBrite small tactical flashlights will be a great addition to our car glove compartments.These are a compact size made from heavy duty aluminum alloy which are durable and water proof. They have 5 different lighting modes: high, medium, low beams, strobe and SOS. Each of the modes alternate by simply pressing the orange silicone button in the end of the flashlights. These different modes cover all of the necessary ways to use light the event of a problem, particularly at night so you can guide your way or alert someone that you need assistance.They each have two power sources: the first is the option to use 3 AAA batteries which are easy to install in the holder and I love this. I do not like rechargeable batteries for things that are essential to being operable when you need them. Having said this, the second source is a rechargeable battery for which a sleeve is provided. In either case, no batteries come with the flashlights.Two other nice features are the extended lens for zoom focus which provides flexibility to hone in on a smaller area at a greater distance rather than lighting a larger area. And the second feature is the removable wrist strap for securing the flashlight when you are holding it or for hanging on a hook.These really are a great tool that can be used when you are engaged in many different activities. They are great for your after daylight walks with our without the dog, camping, working on small areas of a car or other DYI projects in small closed areas, etc.The price for the two is between $14.00+ - $15.00+ and it is available as a single for $8.99 - $9.99. I think these are great buys and I highly recommend based on their versatility, durability, being waterproof, overall design and function.

This is a fantastic small flashlight that’s perfect for your nightstand or kitchen, especially handy when the power goes out. Plus, it has a zoom feature, so you can brighten the light for a shorter distance. While it’s 160 lumens, it’s not super bright—more of a medium-level flashlight. It has a push button switch at the end, along with an SOS and strobe function, making it a great addition to your car. It’s 5 inches long and made of aluminum, which makes it sturdy and easy to carry. It has a wrist strap so you don’t have to hold on to it if you are t using it the entire time you are carrying it. It uses 3 AAA batteries, and I haven’t had to change them yet, so I can’t say how long they last. The light also has the option to run on another source, but I’m not familiar with that, so I can’t review it. For the price, this is a fantastic little flashlight, and I highly recommend it.

This review is for EverBrite Tactical Flashlight, Heavy-Duty Flashlight Battery Powered(2Pack) | Zoomable, 5 Modes...Yup, it's a 2-pack. Each one comes with a 3-AAA battery holder, as well as a plastic sleeve if you choose to use a single li-ion rechargeable. The manual says it's an 18650, I do not have one to test with, so I'm using 3-AAA alkalines. NO batteries are included. A light duty wrist strap is attached, and is easily removed.Light has 5 modes, high, med, low, strobe, sos. The product listing and the included manual actually agree that the High setting is 160 lumens, and that seems about right to my eye. Far from the brightest out there, but plenty to get around the house or campsite. The manual says it runs 3.5 hours on high -- doesn't specify which power source -- I would assume that's for the 18650. I'd expect about half of that on AAAs. I did not test battery life. Of course on medium or low, it will run even longer.Construction is all metal, but still pretty lightweight. The head moves smoothly forward to tighten the beam, it gets to a nice bright spot. On wide, it is a very uniform brightness -- at about 6 feet away, the beam is about 8 feet across. On one of the two flashlights, the spring-loaded battery contact button inside the tailcap is slightly skewed (you may be able to see that in the picture) -- the other flashlight had it straight as expected -- it does not affect function, but a minor ding on build quality. Overall this is a decent pair of budget zoomable flashlights.

Small flashlight suitable for hiking, camping, glove box, or toting in a pocket. It's bright for its size.It can be optionally powered by a rechargeable lithium battery or by three AAA alkaline batteries. I tested it with AAA batteries (batteries are not included).It's budget priced and has good features for a pocket-sized flashlight. The seller includes an option to buy two for even less per unit.The only thing it lacks is a USB port for charging a rechargeable battery. If you think the batteries might run out, you can carry extras or bring a charger.It includes a sliding barrel zoom feature that spreads or concentrates light, plus if you press the button a second time you get a strobe (like hazard lights) or, with another press, it will signal "SOS" for emergencies. Long-press shuts it off.It includes a lanyard if you want to strap it to your pack or belt, or secure it to your wrist if you're walking somewhere where you don't want to risk dropping it.

Unfortunately these flashlights don't come with batteries but I suppose for the price I shouldn't really expect them to. What they each come with is two power supply methods:-- a battery holder for 3 AAAs-- sleeve for rechargeable 18650 batteryThe battery compartment is revealed by screwing off the end cap where the power button and lanyard are located.I prefer to use rechargeable 18650 batteries rather than mess about with 3x AAAs. The drawback is that 18650 batteries are not easily sourced while AAAs can be picked up anywhere batteries are sold. When using the flashlight in a location where recharging a 18650 is not possible, I recommend planning ahead and switching to AAAs instead. It might not be a bad idea to have one of the flashlights permanently set up with AAAs.With a 18650 battery and plastic sleeve inside and lanyard attached, each flashlight weighs 4.66oz (132g). In its most compact form the flashlight is 5" long and 5 3/8" with zoom head extended fully. The grip area is 1 1/16" in diameter while the zoom head is just over 1 1/4" diameter at its widest point.The zoom head focusses the light beam. The beam is at its broadest when the zoom head is fully pushed in. The beam gradually focusses to a smaller point and gets more intense as the zoom head is pulled outward. There is only 3/8" of movement but the beam changes pretty dramatically over that short distance.Each flashlight has five modes: high, medium, low, strobe, and SOS.Each light press of the power button cycles to the next mode. This includes a light tap that keeps the flashlight on or a full press that turns it off. The net result of this is the next time the flashlight is turned on, the next mode in the cycle will be active, not the mode that was active when it was turned off. This is my only complaint with this and similar flashlights: I have to tap the power button a few times to get to the mode I actually want to use.I've chosen to keep the lanyards attached to the flashlights. They have saved me from dropping the flashlights a few times already, and they allow the flashlights to be stored by hanging them.These flashlights are great to have around the house. I'm quite pleased with them overall, the odd light mode cycling notwithstanding.
