My husband does speaker installations as a side job and wire cutters and strippers are essential for his trade. I got him these and he is extremely pleased with them. He said the cutters work smoothly and make a clean cut with little effort, and the strippers are sharp and remove the covers easily. These also crimp well and have good grip. The construction is sturdy and the size makes them easy to use so he highly recommends them.

I mainly used this with my personal arduino type projects, working with smaller gauge wires, and I've been enjoying it a lot so far. Nice having multiple tools combined into one instead of carrying around wire cutters, strippers, and pliers separately, saves a good amount of space in my tool bag.The stripper notches work well, haven't nicked or damaged any wires while stripping so far. Cutting through copper wire is easy too, doesn't take much effort at all.Build quality feels solid, the CR-V steel seems durable and the TPR grip is comfortable to hold even after using it for a while. Only thing I disliked is the grip being a bit too long for my liking, but given this is more catered to a linesman tool, it makes sense to have the extra leverage a long grip would provide.Overall pretty happy with this one, good multi tool to have especially for the price.

The inclusion of a stripper feature is a great idea. The execution as done at the most basic level leaving the fit and finish of these pliers at the bottom end of my "OK" scale of tools I am willing to use. The different grip forms in the jaws was another good idea, but hampered by the most basic shaping and machining leaving a lot of rough edges where they should be smoothed for handing and gripping. The insulated jacket is firmly affixed to the handles and the jaw opening is respectably large.

Lineman’s pliers range anywhere from $6 to $40 so there are a ton of options out there and a lot of junk. At $20 these are nice but a little overpriced when a similar pair or Workpro are about $13. I think these will hold up just fine and last a long time. The weight is nice, the wire stripping built in is a nice feature as well. The face of the jaws are distinctly serrated to give a strong grip on things and I like the single wire thick groove across the face allowing for easier wire twisting. It has grooved indentations on the back side to grab wire nuts without putting them under cracking pressure, which I’ve also found useful.So $40 for Klien or other brand name, $20 for these with an extra feature or two isn’t bad. After I ordered mine they offered a coupon so they’re an even better deal at $16.I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Overall, these are a nice set of combination pliers, especially for the price. The build quality is respectable, the handles are comfortable during extended use, and the jaws have good gripping power. I also tested the wire strippers and found them to work as expected, producing clean strips without much effort.My only real complaint is the hinge. To be clear, it is not loose, sloppy, or poorly made. In fact, the hinge feels precise. The issue is that there is essentially no friction in it. As a result, depending on how you're holding the tool, letting go of one handle can cause the other handle to swing fully open under its own weight. This becomes a little awkward when positioning wire for stripping or performing tasks where you'd prefer the pliers to stay partially open.
