I love the look of the natural stone shades on this sconce. The alabaster is creamy white/beige with subtle striations. The shades are thick and weighty. The stone shades screw into the brushed brass metal base. The metal has a good tone. It doesn’t look too yellow or shiny (and cheap). The sconce is a pretty average sconce size. It doesn’t strike me as overly large or small. The shape is pleasant and looks nice on the wall. My only regret is that it’s so nice, I need to order a second one. I like it so much Ive decided to move it to a more heavily trafficked spot in my home. It deserves to be seen and admired. It looks just like expensive sconces I’ve seen in design catalogs. None would guess that you ordered this from Amazon.
