Vapor Tight LED Light Fixture

I needed additional lighting for my garage because it also doubles as a workshop. When I saw the G GJIA 4FT LED Vapor Tight Light Fixture 4-pack, it looked like it would be a good fit. When the large rectangular box arrived, it had four smaller rectangular boxes inside, one light in each box. At first, I could not find any of the hardware that was supposed to be used for hanging the lights. I looked through the packaging and did not see anything, so I ended up contacting the seller. After a couple of messages back and forth through Amazon, they explained that the mounting hardware is actually inside the dome of each light. You have to remove the brackets and open the dome, and then you will find the hardware needed to hang each fixture. Once I opened the lights, everything was there. The brackets and other hardware were included, so nothing was missing after all. Without those brackets, hanging the lights would have been much more difficult because they use a specific mounting shape.As far as wiring, the connections are pretty straightforward. I recommend watching the video on the Amazon listing because it helps show how the cable connections should go from one light to the next better than the instructions.Once installed, these provide more than enough light for my garage. They are a huge improvement for working in the space, especially since I use the garage as a workshop.They are supposed to last 50,000 hours, so hopefully that is the case. If they do, these should last me a very long time.50k/8 Hour Days = 6,6250 Days!! That is more than 3 Thousand weekends!Overall, I am happy with the lights, but it would be helpful if the instructions or packaging clearly mentioned that the mounting hardware is stored inside each fixture.

These lights are awesome! They use less energy than the fluorescent lights that they replaced, but at the same time they are much brighter. The color temperature is similar to daylight. I connected 10v dimmers to each of them, because they were actually too bright for my basement. The dimmer input is not resistive, so they also save energy. These lights should pay for themselves over the course of their life. The only thing I could complain about is the mounting hardware is kind of light-duty and the light could pop off. This was not a problem for me since I put 2 screws into the ceiling joists through the light housing. I used the mounting hardware as well to prevent any movement. The end result is impressive, the light look great. Im very happy with them.

I installed these lights in a workshop where improved visibility was needed and the difference was immediate. The fixtures provide bright, even lighting throughout the space and the waterproof housing feels very durable. Installation was straightforward and everything worked correctly right out of the box. These LED vapor tight lights have been an excellent addition to our newly built carport. Since our carport has open sides, we needed lighting that could handle being exposed to the elements year-round. Living in the Pacific Northwest means we deal with plenty of rain, moisture, and damp weather, so standard shop lights just weren't going to cut it. These seemed like the perfect solution, and they've been exactly what we were hoping for.Installation was pretty straightforward. Everything needed for mounting was included, and once they were hardwired, they were ready to go. If you're comfortable with basic electrical work it's not a difficult project, although I do agree with the recommendation that a professional electrician is a good idea if you're unsure. Just a note the mounting bracket is inside the cover of the lights.The brightness is fantastic. They put out a clean 5000K daylight color that makes the entire carport feel open and well lit, even on the dark, rainy afternoons we get so often. We can easily work on vehicles, unload groceries, or find tools without struggling to see. The amount of light these fixtures produce is honestly impressive, and the four-pack provides excellent coverage for larger spaces.The build quality also stands out. The housings feel solid and well made, and the sealed design gives us confidence they'll hold up to the constant moisture and changing temperatures. Between the waterproof construction, durable latches, and heavy-duty housing, they definitely feel like commercial-grade fixtures instead of cheaper residential lights. After installing this four-piece, 4-foot LED tri-proof light set in my garage, the overall lighting effect is significantly improved compared to the original lights. I'm very satisfied with the brightness, coverage, and practicality. Each light has a power of 60W and a rated brightness of 7800 lumens. We recently put up a wall inside our storage shed so we could keep our yard chemicals separated from other things that stored in the shed. Because of this, our previous lighting no longer felt adequate so I ordered these lights.This is a 4 pack of vapor tight lights. The lights come with all of the required hardware & they were very easy to install. The mounting brackets that the lights clip onto really made it simple. We were able to install the brackets & then just snap the lights into the brackets. The lights are designed to be hardwired & can be powered using AC voltage from 120 to 277 volts. Wiring is provided for a dimmer switch but we just wired them to a regular switch.The lights are 60 watts each & have an estimated life span of 50,000 hours! The lights are designed to work in environments from -40F to 122F so I can use them year round with no issues. Also, the lights do not heat up the space which is awesome since there is no air conditioning.The lights are somewhat expensive but I doubt that I will ever have to worry about changing out a bulb in my lifetime. This is a great feature because we have fluorescent bulbs in our garage & it seems we are constantly changing bulbs.I am very happy with these lights & the amount of illumination they provide. I love that since they are vapor tight, I don't get moths in them & they are safe to operate even in the humidity in our area. I would definitely recommend this product to others.
