The plan is to use this in my office and get a rustic office vibe going. Instructions are straightforward and simple to put everything together. Cage and fan itself look durable and decent quality. Once I put everything together I will be able to judge speed and control of fan itself. It comes with remote and everything you need to get started. As far as noise level, airflow, and function I won’t be able to judge that yet but if there is anything I will update my review. Materials seem of good quality as well as the appearance. Very happy with selection.

I installed this in my kitchen near the stove, where the area gets especially hot while I am cooking. When I am finished, the fan cools the space and makes cleanup much more comfortable than standing in a hot kitchen.Installation was pretty easy, and the light spreads more evenly than my previous fixture. The fan is perfect for the space, and the lighting is just right. I also like how the blades retract and hug the light when the fan is turned off. It looks compact, stylish, and vogue.

This industrial style retro ceiling fan looks great and packs a big punch for a 30 inch fan.The installation is fairly easy and you will need at least 1 stubby phillips screwdriver (a regular will do too if needed) and make sure you read the instructions several times. It will seem like you are assembling it backwards until you get a few steps in so just trust the process. Make sure to follow all precautions for electricity. You will also need a drill if you decide to mount the remote holder on the wall.Once assembled the remote control is a great feature (you will need 2 AAA batteries) and gives you quick options to change speeds and turn either the entire unit or the fan/lights off individually. There are multiple fan speeds and a sleep timer to turn it off after you leave the room.The fan itself pusshes a tonn of air because of the curved fan blades which also look great when retracted so it makes an interesting look, especially for a retro theme or industrial look in the room. The fan runs as close to silent as possible which is nice if you use it in a home office or entertainment room. For the size of the blades it will push a huge amount of air and when you turn it off it collapses to a nice small area. The twin lights are nice and bright but I would highly recommend using long life bulbs. The cage is pretty easy to remove with 4 screws but you have to take the cage off to get the bulbs out.This fan packs a ton of features in a small space and a great buy for a room with a specific look.

This is an excellent ceiling light fixture with the bonus of a retractable fan. The small (but highly efficient) blades have 6 different speeds (in forward and reverse) and completely vanish when retracted and not in use. The lighting fixture has two bulbs and is housed within a metal cage that makes the whole piece have a very cool industrial vibe. The copper motor aspect makes the fan extremely quiet. The whole thing is relatively easy to install, and once it is the added feature of the remote control (which controls both the lights and the fan) makes it so easy to use. It looks great anywhere and is made of good quality materials, and is efficient at both creating a nice ambient lighting atmosphere as well as being an effective fan that cools the room excellently.

This DuMaiWay 36” Retractable Ceiling Fan is a good addition to my household. Installed over the dining room table, it adds a great industrial style that looks exactly right in my rustic cabin. I haven’t used the actual fan all that often as summer temps haven’t hit yet. So, in its retracted state, the lines are clean, simple and restful. Very attractive on its own, but that it has a useful fan is just a great idea. I do think that the Edison filament amber colored light bulbs look best with the overall design and gives it an early 1900s look which is perfect for the early manufacturing of the era. The 36” fan blades move a good amount of air, especially for the size. It came well packaged, everything was protected and intact. Installation was straightforward in the existing electrical box. This is a high quality piece and looks high end once installed. Price is reasonable for the quality.
