I didn’t buy these gloves for law enforcement or tactical work—I bought them for typical suburban flowerbed chores. Because of the Kevlar‑lined description, I expected them to be bulky and stiff, but they’re not. They fit snugly, with elastic at the wrists, and feel tough without being awkward to use.I don’t have roses or thorny plants to test the puncture‑resistant claim, but for watering, pulling weeds, and general yard work, they’ve been comfortable and protective. And although the listing says “Kevlar‑lined,” I’m confident they won’t stop a bullet—just to be clear.My wife also tried them while mowing (she’s particular about how the yard is done, so she handles that herself). She liked them enough that she said she plans to wear them this winter since she’s cold‑natured. She also pulls weeds, but she couldn’t get a strong enough grip on some of the tougher ones—though arthritis affects her grip strength, so that may not reflect the gloves’ performance for others.For what it’s worth, I tried picking up a quarter I dropped on the table and couldn’t quite manage it. On the other hand, I could use my iPhone touchscreen without any trouble, which surprised me.Overall, these gloves feel durable, protective, and comfortable for everyday yard work. They’re not miracle gloves, but they’re solid goatskin work gloves with a snug fit and good dexterity.

I've been using these gloves for outdoor work, material handling, and general shop tasks, and they've performed very well. The leather feels soft enough to provide good dexterity while still offering solid protection against rough surfaces and everyday wear. They fit comfortably right out of the package and didn't require much break-in time. I also appreciate that they provide a secure grip when handling tools and equipment, which helps reduce hand fatigue during longer projects. These puncture resistant gloves are a must have. If you are playing on like doing metal working or handling thorny bushes, I got these with the intention of having them in my car for if I needed to help with a wild animal or stray animal. So I wouldn't get scratched, and one thing that these gloves fell short on my expectations. And the reason why I took away one star is that they're not very long. You can see in the picture here. I have normal size woman hands, and they fit perfectly on my hands, but they don't go up my arm as much as I would like. And animal could easily scratch up on my lower arm. There near my veins, and I was hoping that they would go a little bit higher on my arm. Also, they're made of goat skin leather, which i'm trying to follow a cruelty, free vegan, sort of lifestyle. And that was kind of disappointing. I thought maybe that they would use a synthetic. Leather, so that might be a selling point to some people. But it was kind of a not selling point to me, but overall, they do seem good quality. They're relatively thick. I would definitely trust them if i'm using them for like metal working or thorns. But for the purpose, I purchase them for which is to handle animals. They do fall short a little bit in that area.

Very high quality gloves that are very much functional and stylish. I needed to replace an old pair of work gloves and is this one more than a replacement!The sheep leather is very soft, giving great mobility of your fingers. Strangely enough, the listing says goat leather, but the glove tags read sheep leather. I can't speak for the difference in the two types of leather, but I'm quite happy with the sheep leather, as long as it holds up.The kevlar lining is thick enough to provide puncture protection. As a test, I did give it a small stress test with a pocket knife I had and it held well against weak cuts and slashes. I did try a poke test, and it did prevent it from going through too far.Overall, I am happy with the protection it offers and the quality of the gloves. I'm not sure how the sheep leather, instead of goat leather, makes of a difference in value, but that is something you should note when purchasing the product.

I have an exact pair of gloves that appear to be from the same vendor I purchased them from about seven years ago. I went back and ordered another pair because they are so awesome, and I was very happy to receive the exact same product. My old and used gloves are in the last three pictures on the garage floor. I have used and abused them for every chore in the house, in the woods, in the deer camp, from winching myself out of a mud hole to cutting through briars and thorny thickets. They held up perfectly well. They look broken in, but are in perfect shape. These are intended as work gloves, but they look good enough to be dress gloves, which is exactly what I intend to use my new pair for. Yes, they are very sturdy, functional, and they resist cuts, punctures, and abrasions, but they are also very comfortable and fit me... You know, like a glove. They are warm enough for mild southern winters, but as the temps drop below twenties, you may want to wear something warmer. They are water-resistant to a point. After prolonged exposure, they will get soggy and wet, but still protect your hands. They get stiff after they get soaked and dry. I simply put them on and rub my hands with neatsfoot oil, like putting on lotion. They soften right up like fine leather. The price is fair for this product, in my opinion. Now I have a pair in my work-play truck and a pair in my shiny car for going out in public.

These leather gloves feel very nice and the sizing seems pretty good in my case. They’re snug without being too tight. The label on the glove does say that the exterior is 100% sheep leather and a kevlar lining. The Amazon listing and even the cardboard tags that come with the gloves say goat skin, which is supposed to be more abrasion resistant. Sheep skin leather is more supple and soft, so it’s a trade-off. Regardless, the leather is real and it’s soft and smooth. They definitely do work with touchscreens, but of course you’re wearing padded leather gloves, so selecting small areas on a phone screen is clumsy. Even hitting the “back” button was a little hard. I don’t particularly like that they claim puncture resistance but don’t list their actual ANSI or EN ratings, if any. I did actually test these with a sewing pin and an actual injection needle and even the sewing pin passes through with little resistance; so obviously the injection needle went through like nothing was there. These gloves may very well resist blades, but if your work puts you at risk from sharps, absolutely look for something else with that listing. For me these are just fine, if a little on the expensive side.
