It was very easy to install once you get it put together. Just make sure you have it connected correctly and how it’s going to fit on your door on the left or on the right so you don’t have to take the screws out and start all over. Also make sure the ring is fully charged before mounting so you won’t have to take it down to charge the battery for a while.

I absolutely love this mount! As an apartment renter, I couldn't drill holes in my door or frame, and this was the perfect solution. It took just minutes to install with the adjustable clamp, and it fits securely without damaging the door. I feel so much better knowing my device is protected against theft and the elements. The built-in rain cover is a fantastic bonus and keeps the camera lens clear during bad weather. Best of all, it doesn't interfere with the camera's motion sensor or night vision at all. Highly recommend this to anyone in an apartment or anyone who wants a "no-drill" setup!

This product performs as designed, although for me, it cuts off a lot from the side I needed it to view the most since there is no flexibility to move the angel once in the holding case, and this would be like the best product ever if the maker could do this, it would be perfect, I've seen many others able to turn the angle but his type that hooks to the door in this way I have not seen any. So, to capture that area, I had to DYI it, which I don't feel comfortable with it but it worked. To do this so other's will know in the event they have the same issue. I didn't screw the back screws in tight leaving it a bit loose in the back, then I placed an object between that area in the back left so it would stick out in that area turning it to the right a bit just to capture that area I needed. It worked perfect doing that, but as I indicated, if there was a product that would perform like I mentioned above, that would be even better.

This doorbell mount was a perfect fit, and it works well. It was easy to mount the Ring doorbell in, protect it with the supplied security screw and backplate.It sits firmly in the apartment door, and will allow the doorbell to be taken when moving out to another apartment or to a house. Be sure to save the mounting hardware that comes with the Ring camera itself in the event you move to a house, as you will need the bracket and wedge mount.I would definitely recommend this doorbell mount for anyone trying to set up a ring on an apartment door. This was a good purchase.
