Perfect fit to replace my old filter. Not much a difference in price, but worth it.

Spins Down Small Particles

[Style: Replacement Filter, Size: 50 Microns]
We've purchase this before. It helps spin down teeny particles that sneak past our other water filters. Works well. Would recommend.

Does work great

[Style: Replacement Filter, Size: 50 Microns]
I installed this filter in my water well system. I do like how it is made but i should of done a little more research and bought the 100 micron filter. I get fine silt and sand in my water and this 50 micron seemed to plug quickly. This is not the manufacturer or filter itself. I figured a 50 would be enough. I would recommend this if you have well water issues.

Keeps out the junk and fights scale too.

[Style: Replacement Filter, Size: 50 Microns]
We have a lot of sand and silt in our well water. This 50 micron mesh stops it before it clogs up other stages of our water treatment and allows for easy cleaning to re-use. The added Siliphos seems to be fighting new scale and is also slowly dissolving existing scale, or at least I assume that's what the small brownish flakes that appear in the bathwater mean.

Works great with automatic flush system.

[Style: Replacement Filter, Size: 50 Microns]
I set this up with an automatic flush with a yard sprinkler controller. I set it up with a daily 3 minute flush by keeping the valve open on the bottom and use the controller as the valve that opens to flush. Works awesome. I already had a drain field to pipe it to. So it was easy. Could of just piped it out of the pump house just as well. Didn’t want a ice field in the winter though. Great filter though.

First stage of whole house water filter

[Style: Replacement Filter, Size: 50 Microns]
I'm using this with the housing (iSpring WSP-50) in line with a Big Blue (style) 20" 5 micron filter as my whole house water filter. It's on city water, so the 50 micron filter is superfluous but the Siliphos (polyphosphate) is a good cheap scale inhibitor. The cartridges are lasting me a little longer than 6 months. I originally wanted this for a new house with new appliances, new tankless water heater and shower heads in a hard water area. -Houston TX-I've found that the added benefit is that I don't have hard water marks in the showers, toilets or sinks. It's almost like living in an area with soft water. The down side is that the tap water has a slight (very slight) salty taste. I am using a Reverse Osmosis water filter at the kitchen sink, so for me that issue is cured, but I thought fair to warn anyone that might be looking at this for the same reason(s).
