I would allow about an hour or so to assemble the fixture, arrange the shades, and prepare everything for installation. It takes a little patience, but the finished result is worth the effort. I like this light a lot. It has a retro-modern look that fits well with the kitchen project I have been working on. This style is popular right now, and it gives the room an updated look without feeling too trendy.I was able to hang it by myself, which was helpful. The installation was easy, and the shades went on straight without much adjusting.The finish is a shiny brassy gold that stands out. The shiny gold finish is brighter than I expected and does not have the look of a higher-end brass light. We’ve been transitioning our home out of millennial grey and black fixtures, and were excited to see this pop up on Amazon Vine. The package delivered quickly, and there was no damage to the fixture during shipping. All of the shades were tightly packed, so none of them were bent or mangled in any way. There were no scratches on the fixture. The gold is a little more brassy than I would’ve liked, but I think I only notice it because I am very particular about detail. My boyfriend was easily able to install this in our existing fixture hole with no problems. The light looks sleek and gives the room a nice touch of minimalism but homey-ness. You do need to purchase lights for this, and they need to be an E12 base, which is quite small. The lightbulbs you have on hand are probably not appropriate for this. So expect to pay another $15 on Amazon for bulbs. All in all, I would recommend this as a pretty affordable option that would fit in with a lot of different style homes. I got this for free on Amazon Vine but I would probably not pay more than $80-$100 if it was my own money.

Arrived quickly. I was a little disappointed with the overall quality of the light, once it was assembled. There are too many seams and it makes it look cheap. It would be fine for rental or a tight budget. The price is fair in comparison to the quality of the light. I probably would not buy this chandelier and would only recommend it if you are on a small budget or putting it into a rental.

I would use the chandelier over a dining room to me. It has a formal look because of the shades. It’s black in color. Also makes it seem like a formal type of product.An electroplated finish and fabric shades. It’s a high-grade electroplated coating that gives it superior rust resistance; the five shades soften the light effects. The fixture features E12 sockets. You may know the E12 socket is also called the candelabra socket, and it’s the second most popular socket in the United States has been around for more than 100 years. The manufacturer suggests nothing larger than 40 W. 40 W of LED power is a great deal of light, keeping in mind that 9 W of LED light is the equivalent of a 100 W old-style incandescent lightbulb, which was very popular in the 60s, 70s, and 80s in the United States.For the dimmer situation, I recommend getting at least the 25- or 30-W set of collaborators, five of them for this fixture, and I also recommend getting a dimmer switch if you do not already have one. Buy the lights and the dimmer switch from the same vendor and get a representation for management that they’re compatible with one another and will not flicker as they dim down to 10%.Manufacturers suggest easy installation for yourself. But as with the electrical installation, particularly a hanging chandelier. I have several caveats and tips that I’d like to discuss with you.First, before you do any work on a particular junction box, make certain the power. The junction box is turned off at the circuit breaker level, not just the local switch level. The easiest way to determine the correct circuit breaker to turn off is to have a friend standby the junction box that you’re going work on with the old fixture still in place and turned on and when your friend tells you you turned it off you can flash it several times to make sure you have the right circuit and then turn off that circuit breaker at the circuit breaker panel box location.Second, because this is electrical work, you always have to be safe and careful. Use an electrical testing device to test each wire in the junction box to make sure none are still energized.Third, this is a route where we have a heavy chandelier now; it’s safe to touch the junction box. Remove the old fixture and put on the junction box as though you’re trying to pull them and make sure that while you hold the fixture in one hand and the junction box in the other, that the junction box is well connected enough to the joist in the ceiling to support the picture if not, add additional screws or metal brackets to the junction box to the joists in the ceiling to make certain secured, and when will hold and will hold the fixture.Fourth, many folks do not know how to use a wire lock nut wire lock nut is what most electrical supply companies use and recommend you use to connect your new fixture to the house service bars.
