I bought this 14 gauge wire set for several 12V wiring projects and its been pretty usefull so far. Getting seven differant colors with 50 feet of each color gives you a total of 350 feet, which is alot of wire for the price. Having multiple colors makes it much easier to keep track of seperate circuits instead of having everything the same color. The wire is fairly flexible and easy to work with. I used it for some trailer wiring and other low voltage projects and had no major problems stripping or routing it. The different colors are probly the best feature becuase they make it easier to identify positive, negative and other circuits when your working on a complicated harness. This is copper clad aluminum rather then solid copper, so thats something to keep in mind when planning a project. For my lower current applications it has worked fine, but I would recomend checking the actual current requirements and wire length before using it for anything that draws alot of power. Proper sizing is important with 12V systems becuase voltage drop can become a issue pretty quickly. The 50 foot rolls are also a convienient size. They are long enough for most smaller automotive projects without leaving you with huge coils of unused wire. The insulation seems reasonably durable and I havent had any problems with it getting damaged during normal installation.I would recomend labeling your wires as you install them, even with all the different colors. This will make future repairs alot easier, especialy on trailer or automotive wiring where there can be alot of seperate circuits.Overall Im happy with this wire assortment. You get a good amount of wire, seven useful colors and enough variety for trailer, lighting, speaker and other 12V projects. Just remember that its CCA wire and size your circuits accordingly. For general DIY wiring, its a pretty handy set to have around.

Very good quality but i ordered the wrong item. This is not a twisted pair. It is a hi res white 14g for those who need exactly that. Good value.

Not every application or low voltage wiring project needs top of the line, tined oxygen-free copper conductor, marine grade wire. Used properly and in the correct applications, this CCA (copper clad aluminum) low voltage (12 volt) primary wire with a general purpose PVC jacket is more than sufficient if you account for the reduced ampacity and potential for voltage drop on long runs. All other things equal, I generally treat CCA wire as being one size smaller than its labeled AWG for current carrying capacity – 14 AWG CCA wire = 16 AWG copper wire. The insulated wire measures .15 inches / 4 mm in diameter. The PVC jacket stripped cleanly with an average quality (HF) standard wire stripper with the loss of only a few strands of conductor. The stripped conductor measures .06 inches / 1.7 mm in diameter which is in line with what 14 AWG wire should be. Has what I would describe as medium flexibility. PVC is a good, general purpose insulator with reasonable resistance to abrasion, water, and grease/oil.Made up a few test connections with quality heat shrink connectors rated for 14-16 gauge wire and had no issue getting a good grip on the conductor. They all passed the “tug” test and an electrical resistance test.Tried it out in the real world – helped a friend install some LED lights in his horse trailer. Fairly long runs but very low current draw. Performed as well or better than any other general purpose low voltage wire I have used in the past. Has been about a month and a couple of road trips to horse shows – everything still working just fine. The wire carries no labeling claiming to be UL, ETL, or CE listed nor does the seller state it is. Not all that unusual for low voltage primary wire. Comes in ten different colors – available individually or as a assortment pack of seven colors. Available on either 50 or 100 foot spools so you don’t have to get a lifetime supply if you only have a small wiring project to do.For basic, DIY projects this CCA primary wire is a budget friendly option and, used properly, a good balance between quality and price. No, I would not use it if I were wiring the space shuttle but for basic automotive, trailers (tow, not residences), farm equipment, speakers, and similar low voltage/low current applications it should do just fine and deliver good value.Under my standard hierarchy of rating products, considering price, variety of colors and lengths available, and overall price/value I put this Pagaloce brand primary wire at a solid 4 stars.DISCLAIMER: I am a member of the Amazon Vine program. This means that I receive some products free of charge (but treated as reportable income to me for tax purposes) to use and review. I only request/accept items I will actually use. My reviews are based on this real-world usage – they are not mere regurgitations of the Amazon product description or insincere hype. I am not a shill and I do not consider the fact that an item was provided without charge as part of my ratings. I have given Vine products one star, five stars, and all points in between. A defective, incomplete, dangerous, or fraudulently described item gets 1 star (zero is not an option), a below average product 2, and an average product 3. A product must have some above average feature/quality/value to earn a 4- or 5-star rating. I put serious effort into my reviews and they represent my honest, hands-on use and opinion of the product. My hope it they will help you make an informed, educated choice whether a product is right for your needs.

This is good stuff for auto/trailer wiring. Wiring elitists (yes they exist especially in the car audio world) might shun you for using CCA instead of OFC but this stuff will work perfectly. The jacket is thick and incredibly flexible like borderline silicone jacket levels of flexibility which is awesome. It strips cleanly with good strippers. The included ones are junk but I'm not sure why they even included them in the first place. I'd wager 98% of people ordering this much bulk hookup wire already have a quality set of strippers. In my "tape measure on the floor, 10 feet at a time" it came out to 49 1/2 feet long. I'd wager they're giving you exactly 50 feet but with better measuring equipment so they aren't skimping on the length of wire.Overall value is pretty decent for this stuff. You can find other 7 color packs on Amazon for less, but I'd wager the quality of this stuff is better. It's worth a slight premium to make your install easier.

Verdict: Running clean 12V circuits for trailer lights, custom car audio, or low-voltage auxiliary hookups using stiff household wire or cheap, thin-gauge strands often leads to voltage drop and frustrating installation bottlenecks. If you need a flexible, general-purpose primary wire bundle that handles automotive and utility applications with ease, this 14 Gauge Wire 100FT, 14AWG Automotive Primary Wire delivers exceptional utility. It provides a generous 100-foot spool length, durable PVC insulation, and the malleability needed to route cleanly through tight chassis channels.ProsGenerous 100-Foot Spool Length: Provides plenty of continuous footage to wire up trailer harnesses, custom lighting arrays, or mobile audio setups without running short mid-project.Flexible PVC Insulation: The tough outer jacket resists grease, oil, and abrasion while remaining flexible enough to bend easily around corners and through tight vehicle grommets.Versatile 14AWG Sizing: Perfectly rated for standard 12V low-voltage applications, automotive accessories, LED light bars, and marine or trailer hookups.ConsTerminal Crimp Protocol (Installer's Tip): Just a standard mechanical heads-up for your wiring runs—when terminating the copper-clad aluminum strands into butt connectors or ring terminals, take an extra second to use a proper ratcheting crimper and heat-shrink tubing to seal out moisture and prevent oxidation over time.Bang for your BuckFor any DIYer, mechanic, or hobbyist tackling automotive or utility wiring, this 100-foot primary wire roll delivers outstanding practical utility. It completely outclasses overpriced hardware store short spools by offering ample length and solid insulation for a very fair price. It is definitively worth keeping on your workbench for your next electrical project.

This is a nicely priced 100 foot roll of 14 AWG CCA wire. The wire may appear to be copper when stripped but CCA wire features an aluminum core bonded to an outer layer of copper. The particles of copper easily come off by scraping the bare wire with a knife. While it offers a low-cost, lightweight alternative to pure copper, it comes with distinct trade-offs in performance and durability. With aluminum being cheaper and 70% lighter than copper it is easy to see why people choose this. The drawback is that aluminum only conducts electricity 65% as well a pure copper conductor. To use this wire you normally have to step up to thicker wire to equal the current handling capabilities of a pure copper wire. So if your project requires 16 AWG wire or higher then this will generally work. Aluminum also has lower tensile strength than aluminum and is more likely to break when flexed. This wire is great for indoor low voltage and amperage projects, budget home stereo wiring and other low current projects. I don't see any UL listing on the wiring jacket so I wouldn't use this anywhere that you have to comply with NEC compliance such as home or building wiring. This listing on the jacket describes this as: "14 AWG Codunctor" Lower Voltage CCA". This wire did strip easily and the 100 foot roll weighed 666 grams or 23.49 ounces.Updated July 2, 2026: I also bought another package of this wire that included 7 different colors of 50 feet each from the same vendor. It included a bonus electrical tool. The quality and markings on the wire were the same. The included wire stripping tool worked but was a very budget tool not cutting the insulation as well as an Ideal tool I used. For emergency use it would be work. It is nice to have multiple colors for running several lines and keeping them organized. As I said above this wire is good for low voltage projects that won't be exposed to vibration or being bent. Also, don't use it for any use where you would have to meet the electrical code such as in a building or house.

I’ve been doing a lot of 12‑volt wiring on my Jeep lately like, grille lights, ditch lights, air horn, interior lighting, and extra charging ports. I had plenty of black and red wire laying around but not the extra colors that make complex runs easier to trace. This 14‑gauge multicolor CCA kit fixed that problem immediately. Now just to be clear this is Copper Clad Aluminum and not solid copper wire. But at 14 gauge it will handle 10-12amps without a problem as long as the runs are under 20ft long.Colors are bright, distinct, and easy to tell apart. Perfect for trailer wiring or any accessory setup. Insulation is very heavy and consistent on every spool. The wire is high‑strand, flexible, and strips cleanly. Even though it’s copper‑clad aluminum, it’s more than enough for LED trailer lights and low‑current accessory circuits. Just use heat‑shrink and seal your ends to prevent corrosion. The included cutters aren’t fancy, but they work great. They feel similar to the old Klein Cutters same size and shape, with soft rubber grips and a simple lock. Sharp and comfortable.Overall, this is a solid wiring kit for the price. Good wire, good colors, and a decent pair of cutters. Great for automotive & trailer wiring, or any 12‑volt project.
