This ended up being perfect for my very unique application. I built a camping trailer and needed a way to light the inside of it without using a lot of battery. This strip ended up being the perfect length and fully lights up the inside all by itself. I have even been able to rig up a step-down converter so I can use these with an 18v tool battery.Installation is very simple with the included adhesive. I stuck mine to the ceiling and it has stayed put even in the heat. The two corner connectors are great because I have two 90 degree corners and didn't have to mess with widening the bends.Overall, this strip is perfect for a small trailer setup and a great value for the money.

While the product description says RV strip, I don't see any reason this could not be used for any 12 volt light strip applications. On my test I used a standard 12V dimmable LED driver, this worked perfectly with that, dimming performance with my Triac wall dimmer switch was great. So there is nothing on the product that requires it to operate off a 12v battery or use only the 0-10v PWM dimmer controls.Otherwise, it's par for the course as LED light strips go, fairly closely spaced LED chips, but not COB strip performance. Peel and stick installation. Can be cut at marked locations and spliced with the included connectors or most any 8mm (5/16") two wire connectors. This is not a weatherproof tape, any outdoor applications will need to be fully protected from weather.Recommended (and for more than just RV usage)

I want to put some undercabinet lighting in my kitchen, and I have been putting together the pieces I need. The Bishwez 12v LED strip is a key part of that project. It has the right color temperature I like (warm white 3000K), and has the right length to cover the total of 12 feet of cabinets. My cabinets are in two sections. So I don't mind that this Bishwez LED strip is just the raw strip, because I will be cutting it to size.I tested this strip with the12V DC power supply and dimmer I already got for the project, and it worked as expected. Dimming was smooth and responsive, the warm 3000K light looked good, and the LED density is better than many conventional LED strips I've used (though it's still not as uniform as a COB strip). The copper pads are well marked, and it was pretty easy to figure out where to cut the strip for my project. On the downside, I was disappointed that the strip I got did not have 3M adhesive backing. Instead, it shows "Sheng Chong Tape 9488A". I haven't mounted the strips yet. So it may still work out. But 3M was pushed as a prominent feature of the strip to justify the upper range of the pricing, and it's disappointing that it has been switched out. Another disappointment is that my package was missing the corner connectors, which I actually do need for my project and one reason I was excited with this order.I can't speak to long-term reliability or adhesion yet. So far, the lighting itself appears to work well, but sadly, the overall value is average for me. If the listing accurately described the adhesive and is priced accordingly, and if I had received the corner connectors I need, I would have rated it higher.

Adding extra lighting under the cabinets in my RV had been on my list for a while, and I wanted something I could cut to the exact length instead of trying to make a pre-sized light fit.Installation was straightforward. The copper pads are clearly marked for positive and negative, the 3M adhesive backing stuck well to a clean surface, and it powered up on the first test. I also connected it to a standard 12V dimmer switch without issue, making it easy to go from a soft evening glow to bright task lighting. There are two transparent corner connectors, which make it much easier to route the strip around 90-degree turns without having to improvise a solution. One thing that's worth pointing out is that while the listing mentions RV awnings, this is a standard unsealed LED strip. I couldn't find any waterproof rating, and visually it's clearly not a sealed strip, so I would only use it indoors or in a location that's protected from rain and moisture. If you're looking for lighting that's permanently exposed to the weather, I'd choose something with a confirmed waterproof rating instead. For interior RV lighting, though, it works well. Being able to trim it to the exact length needed, pair it with a dimmer, and use the included connectors made the installation much cleaner than I expected.

This LED strip comes with connector's pre-installed on both end that takes two steps out of your typical LED install steps. Listing photo's show transparent plastic connectors. Actual connectors that arrived are standard white plastic. Functionally same. Just one you can see inside. Other you can't. LED itself is simple to use. Cut to length as needed. Positive and negative are clearly labelled on each copper contact pad. Standard 3M peel off adhesive on back.Worked with first test connection. Tested with dimmer switch with no problems. Description includes outdoor usage but nothing in specs about waterproofing (which is obviously not just by seeing it's a standard un-sealed LED strip). So NOT waterproof if you do choose to use on RV exterior.
