I went ahead and picked one up.It arrived well packaged, nothing damaged or missing, all the pieces were there and in perfect condition. The install turned out to be one of the easier ones I have done, I took the old lock off, set the new one over the same hole, and used all the parts that came with it. The whole thing took about fifteen to twenty minutes from start to finish. Setting up the app was simple, programming a fingerprint was simple, and adding a backup code took no time at all. I like that it comes with a physical key as a backup, and it also has a Type-C connection for emergency power, so between the two of those you have real peace of mind if the batteries happen to die on you, which I have had happen with other smart locks before. Being able to set a temporary code for a visitor or a cleaning person without touching the main code is a nice touch too. The build feels solid, it does not feel cheap in your hand at all.This would work well on an office door, a bedroom door, or a front door, it is not limited to just one situation. It is well made, it is easy to set up, and it gives you options if something goes wrong, which is exactly what I wanted for the office. I do recommend this one, and I am glad I have it on the door now.

This RAFECIEE Smart Fingerprint Lock seems well made and is a nice addition to my door. Installation was actually easier then the standard knob I had on my door! I was a bit worried, as I have an old door and I wasn't sure the flange would cover the hole on the door, but it if fine. With 4 AAA batteries to power it, I think it might last a couple years. I really like that it has a USB C attachment just in case. Also, the included keys work fine. I was worried the fingerprint recognition might be troublesome, but it's been very accurate. My big problem with this unit is the Tuya app. I don't really use many apps on my phone, so that may be the issue, but the included instruction as well as the app are confusing. I'm happy using it manually, but I'll probably try to figure out the app at some time.
