I bought the Delta Foundations 13 Series 5-Setting Shower Faucet Set to update the shower in one of my bathrooms, and overall I’m very happy with how it turned out. I went with the chrome finish because I wanted something clean and traditional that would coordinate with the other fixtures, and the polished chrome looks very nice once installed.The shower head provides five different spray settings, which gives me some flexibility depending on what kind of shower I want. The spray patterns are easy to change, and the water flow feels good without the shower head looking oversized or bulky. I also like the simple design of the handle and trim. It has a fairly understated appearance, so it doesn't draw unnecessary attention but still makes the shower look much more updated.Installation was straightforward for me, although it's important to pay attention to the product description because the valve is not included with this set. I already knew that before ordering, so it wasn't an issue for me, but someone doing a complete new installation will need to purchase the appropriate Delta valve separately. Once everything was properly installed, the handle operated smoothly and the trim gave the shower a much more finished appearance.The chrome finish is probably my favorite part aesthetically. It has that bright, classic look that works with just about any bathroom style. It also gives an older shower a surprisingly noticeable facelift without having to replace everything.I appreciate that this isn't an overly complicated or flashy fixture. It feels like a practical, dependable shower setup from a well-known brand. The handle has a solid feel when operating it, and the shower head has enough adjustment in the spray settings to make it useful for different preferences.For anyone remodeling a bathroom or simply replacing an outdated shower trim and head, I think this is a good option. Just make sure you understand that you're purchasing the trim, handle, and shower head rather than a complete valve-and-trim package.Overall, I'm pleased with the Delta Foundations 13 Series. It looks good, works well, was straightforward to install with the appropriate valve, and gave my shower a clean, updated appearance without spending a fortune.

Delta’s Foundations 13 Series 5-setting shower faucet set in chrome is a fantastic upgrade to the 35-year-old Delta shower faucets in the master ensuite. The entire house was constructed (I purchased new) with Delta plumbing fixtures – We have upgraded from time to time but not because any of the Delta products failed; it was because we were redecorating and going for a little different look. This plumbing fixture is so nice; it’s very pretty. It functions perfectly, and it’s nice to be able to get the five different spray jets. Delta products might be at a little higher price point than some of their competitors; however, you get what you pay for!

We have been loyal Delta customers for decades now in different homes, and each time we have remodeled where we can install a Delta rough in valve, we have. Delta stands by their products with a limited lifetime warranty and their customer service is outstanding. There are live people in their call center and they actually pick up the phone! You are a lucky person if you already have a Delta universal rough in valve and all you want to do is update the trim and possibly replace the water balancing cartridge. This kit does not come with the universal valve, but the cartridge does. The biggest advantage of no’s bundled in a kit is that the finishes all are the same. If you have baths and showers with the Delta rough in valves, you will be able to just refresh the trim kits with all matching finishes. While Delta valves are universal, they do change out the styles and finishes of the trim kits over the years. This one that I got is for a shower in shiny, blingy chrome. Beautiful and a totally DIY job.
