This is another great product from BTF Lighting. High quality and easy to use. The supplied connections are easy to understand and thoughtfully designed to make them easy to work with. The included instructions help make sense of the connections for different strand types. The easy integration with the Tuya app was what sold this item for me. I have found that to be a practical and easy way to add smart home products to my Home Assistant instance. I usually avoid app control if it means using a single app for each product, but for this item it works. The remote is a little iffy. It tries to pack a lot of features in a very compact interface. It is easy to use but for choosing a color it is not the more effective. There isn't enough room on the scale to really choose from the many color options that your light strip can offer. In that respect, the app is easier to use. This is a great value for a product that let's you easily and quickly add a light strip to your smart home.

Once connected, this controller gives you excellent control over your LED strips. The touch slider is responsive, brightness transitions are smooth, and the app interface offers a ton of customization. It even remembers your last color setting after power-off, which is convenient.The only issue is setup—it took a few tries to pair with Tuya Smart and sync with the lights. After that, it worked perfectly and hasn’t disconnected since. Great value for the price, just be ready for a bit of trial and error during installation.

This is a nice upgrade over the cheap controllers that come with most RGB strips.

Comes with the LED controller, instructions for the controller, remote with magnetic mount, instructions for the remote, and a small adhesive pad to mount the LED controller. The remote requires 2x AAA batteries (not included). Wiring the controller is easy- all of the screw terminals are labeled or screw terminals or barrel jack for power input. The remote is a little tricky and takes some getting used to. The color diagram on the remote slider doesn’t match the actual color of the LEDs and color selection is kind of hit or miss. The different modes of the remote are kind of tricky. The modes are changed by holding the power button and the mode is indicated by the color of the remote’s LED, but the mode indicator LED only comes on when the power button is pressed or the slider is touched. So touching the remote might dim/brighten the LEDs, change the color of the LEDs, or change the temperature of the LEDs, but you won’t know until you touch the slider or hit the power button to turn the LED strip on/off or change the mode.
