I primarily chose this magnifying light for my husband because he works on RC cars and watches, so he’s constantly dealing with tiny screws, parts and details that can be difficult to see. One feature I especially like is the work surface underneath the magnifier. It provides a nice contrast for tiny screws and components, making them much easier to spot while he’s working. The magnification combined with the bright adjustable light makes it a really useful setup for detailed projects. I’ve even found myself borrowing it for diamond painting. I don’t really need the magnifying glass for that, but the extra lighting is wonderful and makes it much easier to see the symbols and colors. I like the how adjustable the articulating arm is. It’s versatile enough that we’re both finding uses for it. It’s a little bit of an investment but totally worth it.

I found that this magnifying glass is so helpful to me while working in my shop. I do lots of detailed work and my eyes just are not what they used to be. The clarity of the glass is perfect and the adjustable lighting is an outstanding feature. Another thing I really like is the 45 minute timer function that turns the light off automatically after I forget to turn it off myself. Besides the weighted base that I use most of the time, it came with a clamping base to allow you to attach the light to a table or workbench if desired. That was a nice touch for the seller to provide that.

I got this to use while painting and I really like it despite a few quirks it has.Everytime I adjust the angle of the light, it blinks like it has a short in it, but remains on so I’m not sure what to think about that. The assembly is fairly straightforward but the diagram doesn’t necessarily explain how each mounting piece works or that you have to choose one of the other. One of the screws near the light itself doesn’t really do anything but hold it together so the black piece just kinda flew off when I was trying to adjust the angle of the light thinking that piece was responsible for it. Just some minor design quirks that make it feel a little cheaper and less intentionally crafted.Overall though it’s been really helpful for me in my studio, I don’t have a lot of natural light and my overhead light is a single light bulb on a 10 foot ceiling so work lamps are essential. The magnification is pretty good too, though I haven’t needed to use it much yet, it will come in handy for the finer lines and details on some paintings in the future. I also like that it has multiple temperature settings, it helps being able to choose different ones depending on the time of day or if I’m trying to photograph my work in progress.I do like that it has a clamp mount and not just the flat stand, that makes it way more practical for me when working on paintings where I can clamp it on my desk and not have to worry about the large base being in my way

Great unit for the price and the base is nice and solid. I’ve been using this regularly for handgun cleaning and it makes things way easier. The heavy, stable base keeps everything firmly in place—no wobbling or sliding around on the workbench even when I’m adjusting the arm or applying a bit of pressure.The 10X magnification is clear and bright, and the flip-out 30X lens is perfect for those tight spots and tiny parts. The LED lighting is excellent: multiple color temperatures and stepless dimming let me dial in exactly the right light for detailed work without glare or shadows. The articulated arm holds its position well and has a good range of motion so I can get the lens right where I need it.Build quality feels solid overall, the USB power is convenient, and everything works as advertised. For the money, this is a strong value and has made my cleaning sessions much easier and more precise. Highly recommend if you need a reliable lighted magnifier for detailed tasks.
