I’m really happy with this front door handle set. The matte black finish gives the door a clean, modern look and makes a noticeable difference in the overall appearance of the entryway. I especially like the lower grip because it gives you a comfortable place to grab the door when opening and closing it. The reversible lever is also a great feature because it makes the handle set more versatile and allows it to work with different door configurations.Installation was straightforward, and the adjustable bottom portion made it much easier to get everything lined up properly. The fact that it is designed to fit standard door thicknesses from 1-3/8” to 1-3/4” is convenient and made it a good option for a standard exterior door. I ended up getting a professional to install this for me because I had to drill holes into my wooden door. I watched and it seemed fairly easy to install.. It looks amazing. It does not have a lock, so make sure that you have aDeadbolt on your door already. It is very sturdy: it installed well. I feel that it made my front door look nice. It is easy to press the button to open the door. It is big and heavy. I think this is worth having. It looks and works great.

You'll need to purchase a separate deadbolt if you want a secure front entry. Because the finish has its own particular appearance, finding a separate deadbolt that matches it exactly may prove difficult. That's not necessarily a flaw, but it is something buyers should factor into their purchasing decision.The finish itself does not strike me as particularly premium. It appears to be a matte painted or powder-coated finish rather than a higher-end plated or baked enamel finish. If it is powder-coated, it may prove quite durable, but the overall feel leaves me wondering how it will stand up to years of weather exposure and daily use.
