The 4" JIS Screwdriver Bits Set is a game changer for anyone working with Japanese fasteners, particularly in applications such as motorcycle restoration and RC car assembly. These bits are precision-milled to meet strict JIS cross-point profiles, ensuring a secure fit on fasteners from brands like Honda and Tamiya. The impressive anti-slip design means you can finally say goodbye to stripped screws and rounded-off heads, which can be frustrating and detrimental to any project. The zero wobble and cam-out feature significantly enhances the user experience, allowing for more efficient and precise work. One of the standout features of this set is its dual-groove 1/4" shank, which offers universal compatibility with both US 9mm power groove and JIS 13mm impact chucks. This means you can seamlessly switch between tools without the hassle of changing bits, keeping your workflow uninterrupted. The premium Taiwanese S2 steel construction, enhanced with a zinc-calcium phosphate coating, provides exceptional durability and rust resistance. This is particularly beneficial when dealing with high-torque applications, as the engineered torsion zone reduces the risk of snapping under pressure, making these bits suitable for heavy-duty repairs. The set includes five pieces, offering versatility for various tasks. With JIS #1 for precision electronics and multiple JIS #2 options for different applications, this collection covers a broad range of needs. The 4-inch slim shaft is designed for deep reach, easily accessing tight spaces that conventional bits might struggle with. Overall, this JIS screwdriver bits set is a solid investment for both hobbyists and professionals, delivering quality, durability, and performance that meets the demands of diverse applications. The strong magnetism ensures that fasteners are securely held at any angle, making it a reliable tool for any toolkit.

First and foremost, these are solid screwdriver bits.I've been upgrading mostly to Torx screws and bits accordingly. However, part of this was in response to my Philips head bits just wearing out over time and ultimately just stripping too many screw heads as a result. But I have so many Philips screws on hand that when I saw this multi-size # set in one compact case I figured I could retire many of my existing drill bits in favor of these. Also, I acquired an impact driver recently that uses a hex instead of my traditional drill, so these are perfectly in line.Four main observations:1) the magnetic capacity of these bits is awesome. I can literally drop my driver down and pick up a screw off of my workstation with the tip of any of these bits with ease - perhaps better than any magnetic tip I've used before2) The different sizes are just what's needed for a small set while I phase out my other drill bits that are just stuck in junk drawers.3) The case is *absurdly* difficult to open once you close it. This happens *every* time. It's not just a 'once you open the jar it gets easier' lid scenario - every time I've closed these it's been unbelievable difficult to open them again, without fail.4) I didn't realize for a bit that the back of the case has a sliding component that has a port for a hook in your organization setup. Not something that automatically sticks out and takes up space, but one that you only use if you intentionally want to. Love it.

These earned their keep on the first job. I had a badly corroded screw that was already partly stripped, the kind where you know going in that the wrong bit is going to round it out completely. My old bit would have chewed it to shreds. This one seated fully, dug in tight, and backed the screw right out. That's the difference with a proper JIS profile and tips that are actually machined well. The fit is snug in the head instead of that vague wobble you get from a Phillips bit forced into a JIS screw. The magnet is strong too, holds the screw solidly instead of letting it drop the second you tip the driver.Ran them in my impact driver with no complaints. Great quality for the money and I'll reach for these first from now on.

These are awesome bits! The fit is much better than using a standard Phillips bit, with a more secure grip and less tendency to slip or strip out.I love the 4-inch length so I don't need an extension. It's really convenient for reaching recessed screws, and the magnetic tips help keep screws in place. The magnetic force is really strong! They securely click right into my impact driver (Ridgid brand) and don't slip. The bits feel solid and well made, and I love having multiple sizes in one set. This has been a great addition to my toolbox! If you work on motorcycles, small engines, RC cars, or other equipment you need to get a set.

I own an older Japanese car and was constantly stripping Phillips screws until I learned that I actually need these JIS, Japanese industrial standard, bits instead. Phillips are designed to cam out to prevent over torque, these do a much better job of holding and turning without damaging. They are even better on regular Phillips so don't feel like if you don't own a Japanese car these won't help.Strong bits with a strong magnet, no damage from use so far and they hold very firmly. The small case is even really nice. I'm very happy with these bits and the value I they provide me.

The assortment is puzzling, as it is not well documented in the product listing. There is one #1 bit, one #3 bit, and three #2 bits. See my close-up photos of the four bits in the case, and also comparing the three #2 bits to a #2 Phillips bit (the one with black metal and a yellow sleeve). The product listing does say that the thinner #2 bit is for tight spaces, but notice that the other two #2 bits are different, yet the product listing does not explain why. I suppose the idea is that you find out by experiment which #2 bit fits most snugly in the screw head you want to use it on, but then what of the #1 bit and the #3 bit?Overall, it is a good set, although I cannot discern much difference between the Phillips bit and these in terms of geometry. But I do understand that there is controversy in the industry about JIS vs. Phillips dimensions and cross compatibility.Another issue is the case locking tab. See my photos. The tab points outward, not inward, so the way to open the case is not intuitive. You must squeeze the top clear plastic cover, as shown in one of my photos, to unlatch and separate the cover. You do not squeeze the black base, which will be to no avail. If you do not know this ahead of time and try to force it, you may break the tab by forcing it open that way.The bits fit well into my impact driver, as my other photo shows. For these pictures, you can right-click on them and open in a new tab for a closer look, although the resolution/quality is likely reduced from the originals that I uploaded. As a Vine reviewer, I am expected to post a review promptly after receiving the product, so of course can say nothing about long term results; however, everything looks as I have described it on day one of receiving the product.

I chose these particular bits, needing longer bits for recessed screws. I have not worked with these before now though I knew these were what I needed for a specific job. They work well for me and I am very pleased with them. This is a set of 6 screwdriver bits with a 1/4” shank driver. There are several different packs of these available here; I chose the 4” mix and I received one #1, three #2’s, and one #3. That said, the three #2 size bits are not the same and I can see that one is a little more narrow, though the teeth are the same.I like that these are color-coated. It makes finding the right size easy at a glance, though the size is stamped on the shaft. These are very magnetic and are great for holding a screw on while working. These are not magnetic enough to pick up a knife or a small tool, but they are definitely strong enough to hold a ferrous screw when positioning. I do not intend to use these with materials that are sensitive to magnets, so these should be great for my purposes. These are strong and can handle some abuse. Like any other bits they can be stripped and chipped, but this takes some carelessness or abuse. So far these have remained pristine for me and have performed perfectly. Though these are intended for use in a power driver, they fit in my manual bit-swappable screwdrivers too.I am pleased with these bits and expect to get a good service life from them. This is a good set with a reasonable size selection, they seem to hold up well, and they have strong magnetism to hold on to screws when you’re working in tight spots.
