I really like this floor lamp. It was easy to put together, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I think it is a good value for the money, and the overall appearance is very nice.I especially like the three shelves, which give you extra space to add plants, vases, or other decorative items. I have a guest bedroom that I'm working on decorating, and it could definitely use a little more light. I came across this floor lamp, and I really like it because it's sort of a two-in-one design.This particular floor lamp has three light fixtures with green glass shades, and each stem is supported by three brass-colored poles. It also has two built-in shelves, which gives you some extra space to decorate or store things. You could use them for potted plants, photographs, decorations, or even a cup of hot cocoa, depending on where you place the lamp and how you want to use it.One thing to keep in mind is that this floor lamp does require a little bit of assembly. However, once you put everything together, I think it's well worth the effort.It really adds a lot of ambiance to the décor in my guest bedroom, and so far, it's working out really well for me. I have mixed feelings about this lamp. There’s many aspects. I love about it, but there’s a few that could be improved. First of all, the brass tubing and base are extremely nice quality. It helps make the lamp look more expensive than it is than it is. However, the shelves on it, which are described as wood are just simply plastic. An inexpensive white plastic at that. I chose the one with green glass globes, which I do like the globes, however, they came with Edison bulbs, which is nice, because I don’t have to buy them, but they are extremely bright and hard on the eyes. Because these type bulbs are usually reserved for things like bathroom lights and are not usually at eye-level, this makes it really hard to have this on full power if it’s in your line of vision, such as the same wall as you were television.The other area that could use improvement is assembly. I give them credit for packing it in such a compact box and requiring less shipping material. However, the instructions have a few things missing on them. For example, there are some black plastic rings that are on each of the post. I consider myself an expert assembler and I was a little stumped because these are not mentioned in the instructions. They are simply spacers for shipping purposes and should be removed. Secondly, there is an extra washer. I consider myself an expert assembler. By power of reasoning, I put them with the other two washers on the bottom. Third it comes with a black plastic thing with a handle that has no indication of what it is for. But you will find out when it comes time to put the lamp on the base. It is absolutely necessary to reach the retaining screw at the bottom of the globe. It’s a nice addition and a very helpful item. I just wish they would have added it into the instructions.Another plus is that it has an adjustable dimmer switch on it. That’s very helpful for keeping the light dim and easy on your eyes. It also comes with a clear cord that makes it easier to blend into the background and clips, so you can clip the cord to the side of the table stand.All in all, it’s a very nice piece. I am not sure I’m going to keep the Edison bulbs in it. Because as mentioned, they are very hard on the eyes. I may go with a soft white bulb instead, but for the price, this is a really nice table a fair price and adds a great accent piece to my mid-century modern living room.
