Last Saturday, I hosted a dinner party that had been on my calendar for weeks, and as I prepared to welcome my friends, I realized my dining room desperately needed a lighting upgrade to set the perfect ambiance. This is a very impressive pendant light. The appearance is sleek and sophisticated that looks as good in my home as it does in the pictures. I have the black and white version and the lens over the light is soft and the light distribution is smooth. Both the bottom and side edge panels are part of the light and adjust simultaneously. The support cords are over 5 feet long which makes installation a breeze as the light could rest on the counter while I wired the box in the ceiling. I easily did the entire job by myself although having another person hold the ceiling box while you wire and mount it would be easier. There is an incredibly clever system to shorten and lower the cords to get the light perfectly level at the correct height. (I used a small level sitting on the flat top to get it perfect). You can position it as close as a few inches from the ceiling but it looks more elegant lower. One of the cords (the active wire) is thicker than the other (a hanging support). I thought it might be an issue but it wasn’t once the light was hung (still it is a funny design decision). The most wonderful part of the light is the remarkable control you have of the light output with the remote. You can change both the temperature and the brightness to a dramatic degree. I put my light over our kitchen island and when working during the day, the 6000K daylight setting is perfect- bright and clean. In the evening, the softer tones in the 3000K range are more pleasant. You can use the presets quickly or the continuous adjustment button for just the right tone. You also have complete control over the brightness. There are also easy day and night buttons if those presents work for you. The remote can also be programmed to control up to 3 other IR controlled lights. I am extremely pleased with the addition of this light to my home.

For the money, the value is strong since the pendant delivers a sleek profile, dependable LED performance, and a versatile lighting setup that makes everyday use smooth and predictable.
