I wanted to check this out and see how is compared. I found that it is lightweight and easy to control and has decent power, but not as good as the brand-name ones. For a homeowner doing small projects, this is perfect. If you are a heavy-duty user, this is not the best choice. This uses my existing batteries, so that is a plus; the size is good. The blades fit in well and lock in well. I'm not confident that this tool will stand the test of time. The outer casing seems to be made of lower-quality plastic, and the motor sounds cheap and is not as strong as other brands out there.

The quality for this saw feels pretty good for a "non name brand". Time will see if it lasts. Right now, it does the job. They include 2 blades to get you started. It is so handy to just grab the saw and cut something without dragging out an extension cord. I hate all different batteries you need if you have multiple brands of products. So for this saw I purchased a 20V Dewalt to 18V Makita adapter. The 2 Volt loss does not seem to be noticed. Now I can use all my Makita batteries with this unit. Only need one charger. A good value.

Very good reciprocating saw for use with a compatible 20 volt batteryVery good reciprocating saw ...

[Color: Yellow, Color: Yellow]
This cordless reciprocating saw that takes a compatible 20 volt battery is a great addition to your tool collection. It comes with a tool only in a single blade, but uses a universal Style collet to retain the blade, so obtaining different blades for different jobs is easy and affordable. The bright yellow and blue coloration allows for quick identification of the tool. The handle and forward grip are very well designed and comfortable to hold while working with various types of material. The base plate for the saw is easily adjustable for rocking back and forth of the saw and allowing you easier maneuverability through various materials. The blade and Battery are easy to mount and install on the device. The size is large and fairly typical of a powerful reciprocating saw of this type. The variable speeds allow you to adjust how quickly you can get through materials. Very good quality materials and construction

I can't get over how much I love these cheap tools that work with DeWalt batteries.I regularly use my DeWalt 20V Max drill and impact driver. I don't have regular need for a lot of the other DeWalt tools, and I'm hesitant to spend the money on them. But for occasional use, these cheap tools are a great value. You're still powered by the DeWalt batteries you already own, so power isn't a problem.Quality of these tools is not what you would get from DeWalt, Milwaukee, or Makita, but they are SO much cheaper. If I find I'm using one of these more than expected, I'll likely go buy the real thing, but since I might use this one or twice a year, and I have corded versions from DeWalt and Sawzall if I find this isn't enough, it's a great tool to add to the bag.$79 is a little pricier than some other similar items, and I have no idea why they added the sky blue elements, so I'm taking off 1 star.

Solid Budget Reciprocating Saw, Just a Confusing Button LabelSolid Budget Reciprocating Saw, Just...

[Color: Yellow, Color: Yellow]
Pretty awesome reciprocating saw that works well for any DIY projects around the house. It comes with two saw blades to get you started, though I do have some doubts about their quality since one of them lost its blue paint after just a single test cut on a piece of wood I had lying around. That said, the tool itself does the job.It has a safety button that I initially thought controlled two speeds, but after reading the instructions I realized it's actually just an ambidextrous unlock button that can be set to either the right or left side depending on your grip. One thing that's a bit confusing, and something the manufacturer might want to reconsider, is that it has the letters H and L stamped on the plastic above the button, which makes you assume it stands for high and low speed. In this model, it doesn't mean that at all, so that labeling is a bit misleading.Overall, the saw gets the job done and comes in at a noticeably lower price than the OEM competitors, which makes it a nice option if you're working with a budget. It's also fully compatible with my existing Dewalt batteries, so I didn't have to buy any additional batteries and could just reuse the ones I already have.

DIYtoolifz Store: Brushless Reciprocating Saw, DeWALT 20V MAX Battery Compatible, Variable Speed

[Color: Yellow]
DIYtoolifz Store: Brushless Reciprocating Saw, DeWALT 20V MAX Battery Compatible, Variable SpeedThis item is a cordless reciprocating saw that is designed to be compatible with the DeWALT line of 20V MAX Lithium-ion power tool batteries and those batteries that are third-party produced and follow the DeWALT 20V MAX pattern. This tool utilizes the newer, brushless motor technology. The tool utilizes a variable speed motor and the speed is controlled the tools trigger button. This feature allows the saw to be started slowly so that the saw cut is in the exact position desired by the user. The trigger button is incorporated into the tool’s pistol grip handle that provides the user with a secure grip upon the tool. Also built into the tool’s pistol grip is the tool’s Safety Lock Button. When the Safety Lock Button is placed into the center position, the tool’s motor is disabled and the tool cannot start. The tool’s battery mount is built into the bottom of the tool’s pistol grip and provides a secure mount for the battery to be installed. Finally, the tool also has an integrated hanging hook located on the top right side of the tool just forward of the tool’s pistol grip. This integrated hanging hook is capable of being folded out to allow the tool to be hung from a convenient location while the tool is not being immediately used. This tool uses a 480-watt variable speed motor that power’s the tools blade drive system. The tool is capable of providing up to 3,000 strokes per minute of the chosen blade and the blade stroke is 1 & 1/8”. At the forward end of the tool is located the adjustable, pivoting shoe mechanism. The tool incorporates a spring-loaded button on the forward left position of the tool’s barrel that is used to allow the pivoting shoe mechanism to be adjust in or out of the tool’s barrel. This adjustment allows the pivoting shoe mechanism to be suitably adjusted to fit the sawing task at hand. The adjustable, pivoting shoe mechanism is made of heavy, stamped, chrome-plated steel and it is a very sturdy mechanism. The tool’s blade is mounted to the reciprocating saw’s reciprocating shaft using the blade clamp mechanism. The blade clamp mechanism is a rotary arrangement that utilizes a rotary spring to apply pressure to the hilt of the saw blade and hold it in place. This rotary blade clamp mechanism allows the saw’s blades to be changed quickly and easily as work requirement demand. The tool also incorporates an LED positioned on the front of the tool so that light is provided to the tool’s work area which is particularly useful under low-light conditions. This tool was designed with “an internal shock-absorbing structure” according to the description provided on the product’s Amazon page. I have not yet put this tool to active use, so I am uncertain as to just how effective this feature may be. Additionally, the majority of the surface of the tool is covered with an elastomer over-molded coating (the yellow sections of the exterior) that serves to provide a large surface suitable for gripping the tool and for absorbing vibrations from the operation of the tool. The body of the tool is made from an injection molded polymer material but the actual material used was not cited on the product’s Amazon page nor is it mentioned in the included Instruction Manual. The tool was provided with two saw blades, one for wood sawing and one for metal cutting. This reciprocation saw uses the industry standard bayonet-type mount saw blades available at most big box home improvement stores and on Amazon. So far, I do like this tool. It worked with all of the batteries that I tried including DeWALT and third-party-produced batteries. I like the inclusion of large sections of the elastomer over-molding over large sections of the tool. I also like that this tool design is supposed to be a reduced vibration design. I will really be able to evaluate that capability when I put the tool to use on a tough cutting job. I would strongly suggest that the manufacturer include more details in the product’s Instruction Manual. For example, there is absolutely no mention of the tool’s ability to adjust the length of the pivoting shoe mechanism nor how the adjustment is performed. Additionally, the proper use of the rotary blade clamp mechanism is quite lacking. The product’s Instruction Manual needs serious attention. There is one thing additional thing that annoys me about this tool: Why is the tool’s trim color Blue? Blue! Why Blue? Since it used DeWALT batteries the trim color should have been Black. That is the only acceptable color. Other than that, I am satisfied with this tool.

Cordless Reciprocating Saw Compatible with Dewalt 20V Battery, 1-1/8"

[Color: Yellow]
I recently upgraded to this cordless reciprocating saw, and it has truly made my DIY projects and home improvements so much easier and more enjoyable! The increased 1-1/8" stroke length means I can cut through materials much faster, whether I’m tackling wood, drywall, or small demolition jobs. It saves me so much time and effort, making tasks that used to be a chore feel much more manageable. One of the things I love most is how comfortable it is to use, even during longer cutting sessions. The vibration-damping rubber grip and internal shock-absorbing structure do a fantastic job of reducing hand fatigue—so I can work longer without my hands getting numb or tired. It’s a relief when tackling bigger projects or working on tight spots. The brushless motor delivers consistent power with up to 3,000 strokes per minute, maintaining a steady speed even when I’m cutting through tougher materials. The built-in LED light is a thoughtful feature—perfect for working in dimly lit areas or during evening projects, ensuring I can see exactly where I’m cutting.Durability is clearly a priority with the double oil-sealed shaft that keeps dust and debris out, helping the tool last longer even when used in messy or demanding environments. Plus, the tool-free blade change system makes swapping blades quick and effortless, so I don’t waste time waiting or searching for tools. The integrated hanging hook is a handy little feature, keeping my workspace tidy and the saw accessible when I need it.Overall, this reciprocating saw combines power, comfort, and convenience—making it an essential tool for any homeowner or DIY enthusiast. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a reliable, easy-to-use saw that gets the job done faster and with less frustration!
