I got these to add to my wall with wall slats. They were super easy to install. I'm glad I saw someone elses review about cutting the strip and the color being different on the two strips because the same thing happened to me but I knew to just flip one of the strips around and everything was good! Pairing with the remote was also easy. I had the lights on for about 30 minutes after I got them up and I didn't feel any heat which was something we were somewhat worried about since we were putting them up between wood paneling. Would definitely recommend!

light strips when cut and rejoined do not sync the same color, some are 2700K, others 6000K. Attempted power cycling and every button the remote to no avail. sent email to V4light and have not received a response.I like the lights, just wish I could sync the colorsV4light responded they think the light strips polarity was swapped. Recommended I plug the light strips out of sync at the other end of the light strip, in other words, reverse the light strip direction. I did that and it worked!!!!!!

Great product. Used these in acoustic wall panels - very happy with the product and functionality. If the color of the lights are "off" after installation - flip the connector 180 degrees.

Purchased this to go in the acoustic wall panel. It fit perfect. BUT very difficult for us to get it to stay in the channels. My hubby came to wed a solution that works and I am happy with the purchase. I give it four stars only b/c of the difficulty we had getting the light strip to stay in place.Easy to cut! Just measure and cut. I used my kitchen shears.Everything connected exactly like the directions said.I love the remote.I can do warm lights or cool light.I can make them bright or dim.There it’s a timer on the remote (15min, 30 min, 60 min).You can have two presets saved on the timeout.I love the ambiance the lights give the room.
