Easy installation. Solves a major problem. Works well.

[Size: 45.2“ (4 Extension Rods)]
I have a plug behind my bed that is nearly impossible to get to and always necessary to use. This is a great solution for that problem. Installation is stupid easy. There are several extension pieces so it was nice to adjust it to the exact height I required. the tape for the back which is included works extremely well and there is no movement since instillation. I recommend you know where you want it before putting the tape on as it sticks so well. There are enough outlets on the end of the plug for use in several items. I found this study and efficient after installation. I'm impressed and pleased with the unit.

Modular Rods That Reach the Outlet Stuck Behind Your Bed

[Size: 45.2“ (4 Extension Rods)]
The modular rods are what separate this from a regular extension cord. You add or remove sections to set the length, out to about 45 inches, so it reaches exactly as far as you need instead of leaving a loop of slack cable pooled on the floor collecting dust. Behind a bed or a TV console, where the outlet always ends up buried somewhere you cannot get at, this is the fix for a problem most people just live with. The four way rotation matters more than the spec sheet makes it sound. You angle the head to come out from behind furniture in whichever direction the space actually allows, rather than being locked into one orientation and hoping it works. It holds where you set it instead of drooping under the weight of a plug. The port mix is sensible. Two AC outlets cover the things that need them, and having two USB-A plus a USB-C built in means phones and tablets charge without a wall brick eating one of the sockets. Everything sits flush rather than jutting out at odd angles.Installing it is nothing. It plugs in and assembles by hand with no tools at all. Solid, and it fixes something most people just put up with. 5/5

Outlet Extender

[Size: 45.2“ (4 Extension Rods)]
I received this prompty but didn't realize I would not be able to use both outlets and only one out of the wall. While I wanted it to plug in something higher up on the wall, I still wanted to use the other outlet for something lower. So either way I need an extension cord for one.Plus, I can't screw the outlet extender in going up, because the wall has a wire going straight up, so my stud finder tells me it is a shock risk where the screws should go.This is a good idea but could potentially be dangerous, where you want to use it.The idea is great and if not concurrent with electric, a great idea. I may use it in another room.

[Size: 45.2“ (4 Extension Rods), Size: 45.2“ (4 Extension Rods)]
DESCRIPTIONWhen I looked at this product’s box and read “35W Socket” I thought, “Wait – what is this again?” Obviously 35 watts for an AC outlet extender doesn’t make any sense. Later the included product specifications provided an explanation. As shown in a photo, the box contains the various parts described below, an excellent instruction manual with photos four sections of hook-and-loop pads and two packets of wall anchors and screws. I’ve included scans of the front and back of the instruction manual. The core parts are a standard US plug with sockets extending left, right, up and down; four extender sections and the extended outlet section, which also has USB sockets, as shown in photos. The Specifications section of the product manual shows where the “35W” comes from – it’s the power rating of PD Type-C outlet on the outlet block. As shown in a photo, all the connections between sections are made using IEC C13/C14 plugs and sockets, like the ones on lots of electronic equipment. Each of the plug section’s four outlets is covered with a tightly fitting white cap.USEAll the surfaces of the various parts of this extender are finely finished with a pleasant semi-matte surface. The parts fit together extremely tightly, and a lot of force is required to fully seat them. The benefit of this is that the assembled extender is absolutely rigid regardless of how many extender sections were added. This is a big improvement over other floppy, bendy extender products that I’ve evaluated in the past. The extender’s job is simple and this product does indeed provide a working extension of a U.S. wall outlet. Although I haven’t fastened it in place yet I like the multiple options for securely affixing it to the wall.Unfortunately, this product has what I consider to be a major safety issue. As a photo of the specifications shows, the AC output of this extender is rated at only 10 Amps. This is understandable because there can be as many as six pairs of plugs and sockets between the wall outlet and the item you’re plugging in.Having a capacity of only 10A is not a problem in itself, but outlets in U.S. and Canadian homes typically support 15 or 20 Amps, AND THERE IS NO SAFETY WARNING ABOUT THE 10-AMP RATING OF THIS EXTENDER ON EITHER THE PRODUCT OR THE INSTRUCTIONS. There is no indication of a UL or CE listing for this product, probably because of this issue.PRICEExtender sticks similar to this can be found on Amazon at lower prices but I consider this product to be exceptionally well designed and I think its price at the time of this review is reasonable.CONCLUSIONSAs mentioned just above, this product is exceptionally well designed, does its job well and is well worth its price. However, there is a dangerous mismatch between the current rating for this outlet and the rating for every wall outlet that it would be plugged into in the US and Canada. And the mismatch cannot be known by a buyer until the item has been purchased and the paperwork has been scrutinized. I’ve given this item three stars; with a prominent warning added it would get five stars.

Absolute Lifesaver for a College Dorm Room Setup – So Flexible!

[Size: 45.2“ (4 Extension Rods)]
We got this to send off with our son for his college dorm, and honestly, it’s one of the cleverest little electronic gadgets we’ve picked up for his room.If you've ever tried setting up a college dorm room, you know how hard it is to predict where the outlets are going to be or how the furniture is actually going to fit until you get in there on move-in day. Half the time, the only good plug is wedged behind a heavy desk, a bed frame, or a nightstand. What makes this extender so amazing is how modular and adaptable it is—you can literally build it to the exact length you need using the detachable rods, extending anywhere from around 17 inches all the way out to over 45 inches. The plug head also rotates in four directions, so you can route the extension flush against the wall in whatever direction works best. That means no bent cords or awkward gaps behind the furniture. Between the two AC outlets and the USB-A and USB-C ports, he can easily charge his phone, laptop, and whatever else without needing a bunch of bulky wall adapters. If we ever need to break it down, adjust the length, or move it somewhere else down the line, we’ll probably just use Command strips to keep it mounted clean without messing up the dorm walls. It completely takes the guesswork out of dorm setup. If you've got a student moving into a new space, this thing is flexible, practical, and 100% worth every penny!

Solves to “move” outlet to a more desirable locationSolves to “move” outlet to a more desirable l...

[Size: 36" (3 Extension Rods), Size: 36" (3 Extension Rods)]
The electrical outlet extender comes with an outlet that has two 3 prong outlets plus usb outlet, pieces of extension track, lots of wall screws if you want them. I ordered this because my bathroom vanity outlet is too close to the mirror for my timer. This outlet extender moves the outlet away from the mirror to allow for more space to plug in my items plus it eliminates my need for usb cubes. The only downside is the orientation of the 3 prong plugs is fixed. My items will block the other plug if I add them and there is no way to orient them differently. I ordered an adapter plug so I can turn my wide time sideways. Since I am using this on tile, I will not be using the screws. If needed, I could use adhesive strips behind the outlet, but product is stable as is and adhesive is not necessary. Overall, this is a creative product that solves to “move” an outlet to a more desirable location. It is a good value for the money.

Clever Solution for Outlets Hidden Behind Furniture

[Size: 36" (3 Extension Rods)]
This is one of those products that solves a very specific problem surprisingly well. If you have an outlet buried behind a couch, nightstand, desk, or other heavy furniture, this lets you bring the outlet and charging ports up to somewhere you can actually reach without running a traditional extension cord across the floor. The three extension rods give you quite a bit of flexibility with the height, and I like that you don’t have to use all of them. The rotating connection at the outlet is also useful because furniture placement and outlet orientation aren’t always ideal. Once positioned, the whole setup looks much cleaner than having cords dangling around the side of the furniture. At the top you get two regular AC outlets along with two USB-A ports and a USB-C port. That’s a good combination for a nightstand in particular since you can plug in a lamp while still having charging connections available for phones and other devices. The construction feels reasonably sturdy and the sections fit together securely. I also like the low-profile approach at the wall since the entire point of something like this is being able to use an outlet where there isn’t much clearance. It’s a somewhat unusual product, but it’s genuinely useful rather than just being a gimmick. Nekmit makes some clever charging and outlet accessories, and this is another good one. A very practical solution for an otherwise annoying problem.

Solves a Multitude of Access Problems!Solves a Multitude of Access Problems!

[Size: 45.2“ (4 Extension Rods), Size: 45.2“ (4 Extension Rods)]
This is going to come in handy! Now I just have to decide where to use it. There are several places in my home where accessibility to electrical outlets is a problem. With this clever little extender, I will be able to shift my plugs out to the side of furniture that is blocking the main outlet, or raise it above the top of anything that is obstructing it. It extends up, down, left or right, so all the bases are covered. My unit came with four extension rods, so I can cover a little or a lot of territory by simply attaching as many or as few as I need.It comes with hardware to securely mount it, but it also comes with adhesive strips which are more my style. The only downside that I see is that the very thing that makes it versatile also creates a limitation. I have an item plugged into the bottom plug of one wall outlet and I wanted to attach the extender to the top plug, but the ports coming out all around the plug base obstructed the second outlet. The cord plugged into the second outlet, however, is relatively large and boxy, so I don't know if it would be a problem with just a regular cord head.I have not yet tested the ports because I still have to decide which extension need takes priority, but as long as they work properly, I see a bright future in my household with this handy dandy extender.
