I am always in the middle of one project or another. Now, I'm working on building a rudimentary structure to store my firewood under. I wanted something to provide a little bit more stability and these post tie brackets work well for that.This is a set of 4 brackets. They are painted black, have a nice appearance and don't create an eye sore. Mounting hardware is included.The appear to be pretty durable and help to make the structure sturdier. The metal is thick, but with a little force, these can be bent by hand. This is worth keeping in mind for the intended purpose.For the added stability these brackets provide my structure, I think the price is fair and a worthwhile investment. If the plan is a very heavy-duty job, you may want to look at other options just to ensure long-term safety. For lighter duty/home/DIY projects, these work great. I am pleased with these brackets. They have worked well for my DIY project.

Thes 2x4 post to beam connectors are both decorative and supportive. There is some flexibility in the metal but are still very sturdy and durable. I did choose to go with my own larger screws as the ones included did not feel sturdy enough for me. These are easy to install and look great. Overall a good value and made my project easier.

These brackets feel solid and much more substantial than I expected. I like the black finish because it gives outdoor wood projects a clean, finished appearance while also providing a connection point between the posts and beams.The sizing is useful for common 2x4 construction projects, and having four brackets in the package makes sense when you're working on something like a pergola, gazebo or other outdoor structure. The included hardware is another nice feature because it saves you from having to immediately purchase everything separately.For DIY outdoor projects, I think the sturdy construction, four-piece quantity and included screws make this a good value.

These are awesome looking. I have been wanting to customize the outdoor area off the back patio for a while. Decided to set up an extended hosting station. Got the barbecue area all organized. Wanted to put a cool decorative arbor / pergola type of archway over it. This way I can get some Vines to grow on it and offer some natural shade.I got these because they looked the most aesthetically pleasing of the options. This creates a secure hold which is obviously the first priority. And secondarily it creates a nice sleek finished look. Much more attractive looking than the galvanized metal roof joists. And definitely more secure than just a long screw coming in from the other side.These are nice and heavy duty. They are very easy to mount to both pieces. They create a really cool visual dichotomy between the wood and the black metal. It matches my black wrought iron outdoor decor perfectly. You could also create garden archways to walk through and smaller things like that as well with this.

I like having different bracket types and sizes handy for projects and my on hand supplies usually keep me from having to make special trips to the hardware store(s). These are medium weight to me, not heavy duty or light duty. If you use two at a T joint they will overlap each other in the center of a 3 1/2" wide 2x4. The edge width is slightly over 1 1/2" for the side of a 2x4 with a little play which from experience with various steel brackets is to be expected. I see no concerns about quality and the paint finish has good coverage and thickness.

I needed to redo some poorly hung joist on my back deck lean-to and the existing lightweight joist hangers were just too inadequate for the job. I needed a hanger more structurally strong to handle the weight of the roof that the joist are supporting. These joist hangers are an excellent replacement for current tin hangers. These carbon steel hangers are superior in both material and strength. Unlike the previous hangers that could be shaped by hand, these are solid. They were very easy to install. I have a lot of confidence that the support these provide the joist provide is much stronger now. Not that esthetics matter, but I do appreciate the black powder coating. These joist hangers are visible and they look more custom than the construction grade hangers available at the big box stores.Great looks and superior support. I highly recommend these for your next build project, especially if they'll be visible.
