We took a risk and decided to drill directly into our solid oak cabinets to install pulls after ten years of messy hand prints and grime that is very difficult to clean from the polished wood surface. Not only am I incredibly happy with the appearance and durability of these pulls, I am so relieved that they blend in even against this natural surface. Their light gold appearance is compatible with the wood in a subtle yet elegant way that enhances the natural beauty of the oak rather than distracting from it. I actually didn’t even notice that my boyfriend had installed them until I reached to open a cupboard and felt the smooth handle. These are lightweight and versatile but provide a sturdy grip for opening cabinets and drawers. They are highly compatible with our overhead cupboards, especially the size and how it lines up with the edge of the cupboard. The brushed gold has an understated appearance which was important to me because I didn’t want anything ornate that would stand out or look gaudy, especially in my English countryside style kitchen. They came with high quality hardware and plenty of extra screws. There is a small piece of paper with detailed step by step instructions (in small print with pictures ) for installing new cabinet handles and instructions for replacing drawer or cabinet pulls. My boyfriend had the tools that were needed (an electric drill with the right size 3/16 drill bit, pliers, screwdrivers, ruler) and because we didn’t want to take any chances drilling holes in our kitchen cupboards he also constructed a wood block to place on each cupboard to make sure the holes were perfectly aligned.

The Povefonk brushed gold cabinet pulls beat out the previous 5 sets that I had purchased. They offer the perfect blend of antique and modern that my wife and I just couldn’t pass up. I also am incredibly grateful that a plethora of sizes are available as we will need different lengths for our cabinets. A lot of other sellers only offer 1 or 2 but not Povefonk so that is a big reason apart from style that we ultimately chose them. The value for the money was great given that there are plenty of handles in a pack and the sturdiness thus far has held up nicely. I had no issues installing them and so far they have drastically improved the look of our laundry room. Please disregard the mess in my pictures, that room is still currently under construction.

These drawer handles are absolutely stunning. The finish is every bit as beautiful in person as it appears online, and the color is rich, vibrant, and evenly applied.
