This table lamp has a beautiful farmhouse inspired design that looks stylish in almost any room. I have placed it on my bookshelf and it goes so well with everything. The black metal base and white linen shade creates a simple yet elegant combination. Do keep in mind that the bulb is not included and I wish it came in a pack of 2 for my bedside table but this I'd highly recommend for its versatility.

When I first saw this Farmhouse style lamp, I thought it was so pretty. I loved the wooden base. I was surprised when the package arrived and it was small. Very small. My fault for not reading the dimensions.After struggling with all the tape holding the pieces together in plastic wrap, I began putting it together. It went together easy. The lampshade was curled up into a small cylinder. It wasn’t difficult putting the metal rings on, but the results were not so pretty.The top and bottom edges of the shade are not set down in place and the raw edges are very visible.When put together, the height of the lamp is 15”. It is too small to be a living room lamp, and not what I was expecting for a bedroom lamp.Altogether, I’m disappointed in this lamp, and do not recommend.

It was easy to assemble, feels sturdy, and looks much more expensive than it is. The neutral design blends well with a variety of décor styles, making it perfect for a bedroom, nightstand, office, or living room. Just add your favorite bulb, and it's ready to brighten any space. I would definitely recommend this lamp!

Lamp looks so nice in the ad photo (and the angle does have it appear to be larger), but in reality this lamp was a bit disappointing. The shade is just so bad that I'll have to purchase another one to replace it so that the base - which is very nice - has an equal top.Pro: The base color, warm tones and shapeCons: Shade is cheap, like dollar store grade; clear rocker power button is also cheap-looking. I don't want to see the mechanics inside a transparent switch on a table lamp. Price is high for this type and quality spectrum of lamp. Thus, the star removal for all the Cons of the lamp.

1. The lamp body is very well made. It looks like real wood, and even feels a bit like well varnished wood. But it is not, it is some sort of resin. And it is very well made. If you want this lamp it's because of the wood style body.2. The lamp is a plug in. You could equip it with a battery powered LED that fits an E26 lamp but this is meant as a standard corded electrical E26 lamp plugging into any ordinary wall outlet.3. You must assemble the lampshade. I found that difficult, but you might not and may even enjoy it for the "ikea effect".4. Maybe it's inflation but I think the price is high.If price is no object or at least acceptable and you love the body then do get it. The body looks even better in real life than the Amazon sales page pictures.Standard table lamp, takes a 40 watt bulb (not included), wall powered. You will need a plug for it to work. It is an indoor plug in table lamp. No wiring or electrician or batteries required.I deducted one star only because of the price. It is of good quality.

I was looking for more lighting solutions for my place because all the bedrooms and the living room do not have hard wired lighting. I found this Farmhouse Style Table Lamp by SpaceBasics and thought it would be perfect. Happy to report that I'm very pleased with this little lamp. Comes packaged very well to prevent any damages. The base of the lamp is actually metal even though it looks like real wood. The lamp shade is well thought out. It comes rolled like a scroll, then you just click it into the framework and presto! Lamp shade! My only concern is that the seems around the shade are coming undone in a few places. It's an easy enough fix for me though... Just worth noting. I think this table lamp is a great design that can pair with a variety of home decor. It goes great on a side table! The light itself works great, just know they're no bulbs included. Overall really good quality product that I would recommend.
