It worx as described...it is, however plastic...the housing is plastic, the part that it mounts to is metal...it can b ripped from the metal with a little determination and stolen...otherwise it's reasonably priced for what it is...if it was all metal it would receive a 5 star...

Works as described, good choice. Installation was easy and my Ring doorbell fits perfectly. Mine didn’t come with any foam pads mentioned in the description. The only thing that could be improved in the design would be a cutout for charging the battery so you don’t have to remove the back plate each time. Screws to hold the back plate on could easily be lost, although the company did provide a few extras.

It appears my mount came without the pads that double as back spacers to install our new Ring Battery Doorbell Gen2. I don't think I need them as the doorbell installed as if it was made for it. It fits well and is relatively easy to remove in order to charge the battery.
