I ordered both the black-and-white and colored versions of this machine. Unfortunately, the colored one had scratches on the projector glass, so I had to return it, BUT this one is great! I only took one star off because it’s a little hard to focus. You have to be really gentle since the focus knob is pretty loose, so steady hands are needed. But once you get it focused and leave it alone, it looks amazing.You can use this as a regular night light too if you don't want to use the projector at certain times. It's a warm yellow light, and both the night light and the projector light are adjustable so you can set them to your preferred brightness. Certain slides look better brighter, and others look better dimmer, at least in my opinion.A perfect example is the slide in the picture. I have this set to medium-low brightness, and it looks better than at full brightness. Everything is really great when properly focused, but keep in mind that, just like any projector, the more you angle it sideways, the blurrier that part of the image will get. Don’t worry, that’s not the machine’s fault; it's just how all projectors work! You just have to find that sweet spot in your room where you can angle it and be happy with the result

We use this little projector in my daughter’s bedroom, and she absolutely loves it. It comes with lots of different patterns, and her favorites are Saturn and the galaxy. When we project them onto the ceiling with the lights off, the whole room feels like you’re actually in space. The images look really cool and create such a fun atmosphere. It also works nicely as a night light before bedtime.
