I’m fairly new to welding and this machine was very easy to get started with. The synergic settings take a lot of the guesswork out of adjusting the machine. I practiced on some scrap steel first and was getting decent welds pretty quickly. Very happy with the purchase.

Don’t let the small size fool you. This welder feels powerful for such a lightweight machine. I’ve used it for brackets, metal frames, and a few garage repairs with good results. Being able to plug it into a regular 110V outlet makes it extremely convenient.

I’ve been really impressed with this 140A MIG welder for home shop and DIY work. The compact size makes it easy to move around and store, but it still has plenty of capability for the types of welding jobs I normally tackle. Having 110V operation is especially convenient because I can use it with a standard household outlet without needing a dedicated high-voltage circuit.The synergic control and digital display make setup much easier than having to guess at all the settings. It’s nice being able to dial things in and get started without spending a lot of time experimenting. This is a small and simple-to-operate welder. There’s a single knob with one purpose: adjusting the amperage. With 132 welding amps available, this welder can handle both 3/32-inch and 1/8-inch electrodes. I used both 6013 and 7018 electrodes with zero issues.The welding leads are on the short side, which could be a limitation depending on your setup. The listing mentions features such as hot start, arc force, and anti-stick. These are preset functions and aren’t adjustable, but they do seem to work as intended.Welding performance is very good, and the set amperage felt accurate compared to other welding equipment I use. I build carts. Right now I am building them for a solar manufacturer. Metal carts. Solid ones. They hold panels and parts and my whole reputation.So I needed to weld. My big welder was busy. I grabbed this little guy instead. The Stick Welder 132A. 110 volts. Plugs into a normal wall outlet like a toaster with dreams.Let me tell you. It is small. It is light. It is portable in a real way. I carried it with one hand. I set it by the carts. I got to work. No forklift. No back brace. Just grab and go.The specs are simple. 132 amps. 110 volts. That is enough juice for thin and medium metal. It is not going to weld a battleship. But cart brackets. Little joints. Patch spots. It handled those fine.Now the fun features.Hot Start. This one is nice. You touch the rod and it kicks up the power for a second. So the arc starts right away. No poking. No cursing. It just lights up and goes.Arc Force. This keeps the arc steady. The rod gets close and it does not choke out. It pushes through. It holds the flame. My beads came out clean enough to make me smile.Anti-Stick. My favorite. New welders know the pain. Great kit for hobbyist or one-off welding jobs around the house. It's a very lightweight and compact setup so you don't really need a welding cart or stand to hold the machine unless you don't want to be wearing it. Very easy setup and instructions are clear enough to figure out how to use everything. Amperage is decent enough where I can definitely weld metal together for stuff like knife billets. No rods included so be sure to pick some up before you take this to a work site. Really decent price considering it's got the same amperage as the cheapest Harbor Freight model but costs almost half.
