This smart security light has been a fantastic addition to our home. My electrician installed it on the exterior since it requires hardwiring, so we had it professionally installed. Installation only took my electrician about a half hour, and it seemed like a pretty easy process. Once it was up and running, it immediately gave us peace of mind. We often have bears, coyotes, and other wildlife wandering around at night, so knowing the lights will automatically turn on with any movement helps us spot potential danger right away and keep our family and pets safe. The motion sensor is quite sensitive and works at more than 60 feet away. The three flood lights can be turned and are easily adjustable. It’s incredibly bright, offers different color temperatures, is fully dimmable, and works seamlessly with the Alexa app. A sturdy, reliable, and impressively powerful light that truly enhances nighttime safety.

This outdoor motion-sensing security light from Onforu has a lot of cool features. I think of it as a higher tech version of the basic motion activated LED security lights available from many different companies. It works with both Alexa and Google Home and can also be controlled using Wi-Fi from your phone or tablet using the manufacturer’s proprietary app. Both the color of the light and the brightness can be set using either your phone or the included wireless remote control. Even better, it will record and time stamp events where something or somebody triggered the motion sensor and you can go back and look at the log. A timer is part of the app which allows you to turn it on or off at pre-programmed times. It, like most, has three sections where the sections on the sides are adjustable wings. This mounts on a standard outlet box and connects using only three wires: hot, neutral and ground. It should last a long time based on what I see. Pricing is excellent for this fully featured motion sensor security light with smart integration. Recommended.

This is an excellent outdoor security light, especially if you have a strong WiFi signal near where you plan to install it. I have an outdoor Deco access point about 20 feet away, and the connection has been flawless. The five adjustable LED heads are extremely bright and can be positioned independently, making it easy to illuminate a large area. I can aim them in different directions and cover almost my entire front yard from a single fixture. You can also adjust the brightness and choose between different white color temperatures depending on whether you prefer warmer lighting or a cooler daylight appearance. The motion sensor has been surprisingly accurate. You can adjust both the sensitivity and detection range, and it has been very good at detecting people without constantly triggering from animals. The Smart Life app is where you really unlock everything this light can do. Alexa works for basic commands such as turning the light on and off, changing brightness, and adjusting the color temperature, but Smart Life provides significantly more control. You can create schedules, adjust motion detection, determine when the sensor is active, and automatically switch between different behaviors throughout the night. For example, I can have the lights stay continuously illuminated for three hours in the evening and then automatically switch into motion activated mode afterward. You can also configure it so the light doesn't activate until later at night and shuts down before sunrise.Installation was easier than most outdoor lights I have installed. It uses a simple mounting bracket with a center screw, and once mounted, everything feels very secure. The fixture itself feels durable and well constructed, and the adjustable arms stay exactly where I position them.Overall, this is a fantastic smart security light. It is extremely bright, provides excellent coverage, and offers far more customization than a traditional motion light. As long as you have reliable WiFi coverage where you're installing it, the smart features alone make it well worth the money.

Having used several outdoor lights from this manufacturer on my home over the years, I was eager to get my hands on their latest offering. Unsurprisingly, it delivers on performance. This light is exceptionally bright, easily illuminating entire dark stretches of the yard. The setup process was straightforward and pain-free. As a quick word of wisdom for anyone installing smart gear up high, always pair and configure your device before climbing up the ladder. During testing, it connected to my network almost instantly, and the motion sensor proved to be spot-on. Just keep in mind that if you configure it to activate only after dark, you actually need to test it in the dark; I spent a few frustrating minutes troubleshooting before remembering my own settings. My only real complaint comes down to a small design oversight. There is a tiny opening on the bottom of the bezel, presumably meant to route a cord if you decide to plug it into a wall outlet. Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not include a plug or cover to seal that opening if you choose not to use it. Left open, it seems like an ideal spot for insects to build nests, so you will likely want to patch it up yourself during installation. Overall, it remains a solid, dependable performer despite that minor detail.

This 100W smart outdoor security light combines high-output flood lighting with motion detection and app-based controls in a design meant for driveways, garages, patios, entryways, and other exterior areas that need broad illumination. The three adjustable heads allow the beam coverage to be aimed across a wider space, while the aluminum housing and IP65 weather-resistant construction are designed for year-round outdoor installation. The lighting controls are especially flexible. Color temperature can be adjusted continuously from 2700K warm white to 6500K daylight, and brightness can be set from 1% to 100%. A memory function saves preferred settings, while timer scheduling makes it possible to automate different brightness levels or operating periods. The built-in PIR motion sensor offers a 180-degree detection angle and a listed maximum range of up to 72 feet, with motion events available through the app for later review.Pros• 9000-lumen output provides substantial illumination for larger outdoor areas• Three adjustable heads make it easier to direct light where it is needed• 2700K–6500K color-temperature range allows both warm and cool lighting• 1%–100% dimming provides much more control than a fixed-output floodlight• PIR motion sensor offers a wide 180-degree detection area• App control adds scheduling, brightness adjustment, and motion-event history• Voice-control compatibility adds convenient hands-free operation• IP65 rating is appropriate for rain, moisture, and dusty outdoor environments• Hardwired power avoids dependence on batteries or solar chargingCons• Requires a hardwired electrical installation rather than simple wireless mounting• Smart functionality requires a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection• The high 100W output may be more lighting than a small porch or compact entryway needsIn a typical security-lighting setup, the adjustable heads could be aimed toward a driveway, side yard, and entry area while the motion sensor handles automatic activation. The ability to reduce brightness, shift the color temperature, or create schedules through the app also makes the fixture useful beyond basic security lighting. Someone who wants a softer evening setting could use warmer, lower-output illumination, while brighter daylight settings could be reserved for motion-triggered security use.Final ThoughtsThis is a strong option for homeowners who want powerful outdoor illumination combined with motion sensing, smart controls, adjustable color temperature, dimming, scheduling, and three-direction coverage. Its 9000-lumen output, 180-degree PIR sensor, up-to-72-foot detection range, IP65 weather resistance, and hardwired power make it particularly well suited to driveways, garages, larger patios, and perimeter areas where dependable lighting matters. The need for electrical installation and 2.4GHz Wi-Fi should be considered before purchase, but for users who want a feature-rich smart security light rather than a basic motion fixture, it offers excellent overall value.

I was looking for a LED wall floodlight to swap out my old style flood light. I wanted this light to have a motion sensor. I looked on Amazon and saw this hardwired Onforu 100W Smart Outdoor Flood Light with motion sensor. I liked the style and design of this light so I ordered it. This light is available in either a white or black finish. I picked the black color as it matched my decor. This high quality light can operate from 2700K-6500K Color Temperatures. This light can be controlled with the "Onforu" app or via voice control through Alexa or Google Assistant. This light can also be dimmed from 1 to 100%. This light outputs 9,000 LM via the high quality LED bulbs. Each of the three heads of this light are individually adjustable to direct the light to the desired areas. The body of this light is made of high quality corrosion resistant aluminum material. This quality light has a high-sensitivity PIR motion sensor that has a wide 180° wide detection angle and up to 72ft maximum distance detection. This versatile light can be used anywhere a floodlight is needed. The installation was quick and easy. First, install the included mounting bracket to the outlet box. Connect the corresponding wires. I installed this outside, and the amount of light it puts out is impressive. It covers a large area, and the three adjustable heads let me direct the light where I actually need it instead of having one extremely bright spot and dark areas around it.What I really like is having control over both the brightness and the color temperature. I do not always want harsh bright white security lighting, so being able to warm up the light and lower the brightness makes it much more useful for everyday outdoor lighting. When I want maximum visibility, I can turn everything up.The motion sensor has been responsive, and being able to make adjustments through the app is much easier than standing outside trying to configure settings directly on the fixture. I can also set schedules, which gives me more options than a basic motion light.Installation was straightforward for a hardwired fixture, and once connected to WiFi, the smart features worked well. Being able to control an outdoor security light from my phone is a remote control feature that I did not think I needed, but now I really like having it.This is a great value and considerably more versatile than the traditional outdoor floodlights I have used. It can be a very bright security light when I need one and a much softer outdoor light when I do not.

I recently purchased (and reviewed) the 65-watt version of this light, and was overall very pleased. This 100-watt light is virtually identical, but quite a bit brighter.Installation is simple for anyone with basic electrical DIY skills. Otherwise, get an electrician. Everything you need for the install is included, as long as you are replacing a similar style of light. The app setup is straightforward--download and install the app. Then when you apply power to the light, the app automatically recognizes the light and guides you through configuration.Once you do THAT, you just need to tell the app whether you are using the Google Home system or Alexa (I use Alexa). The light appears in your controller app of choice, and you can adjust settings and create routines to make the light work the way. you want it, and with the color temperature and intensity you desire. The unit puts out a TON of light. My back yard is 90 x 100 (including the inset area for the patio, and this thing lights up everything in the yard within line of sight. It doesn't blast the light enough to put the back fence into sharp illumination, but it lets me see anything happening in the yard with good clarity. Much better than the 65-watt style if you have a big yard.I like to set mine on 1% brightness to illuminate the patio for my dog, and, apparently, the toads and lizards love the fact that it draws bugs all night. Not so great for people, but if you live in the buggy, muggy south, you probably aren't hanging out on your patio during bug season anyway.Very good light, the features work beautifully, and the app gives you tons of control. Couldn't be happier.
