I spend a lot of time in my kitchen and I’m often plugging and unplugging small appliances or charging my phone or tablet. This makes it so convenient. This extender stick arrives in three pieces which fit together securely and then plug in to an outlet. They come with Velcro strips to stick to the wall and to stick to the extender. I assume you could use the plate to fix the extender more permanently to the wall but the extender did not come with instructions, so I’m not sure what it is for. The product is very durable and high quality. All plugs work, I tested them. I like this very much. I definitely recommend this. I think it would be perfect for behind the couch or behind a desk, which are always hard to reach spaces. The price for this is very reasonable too.

This outlet extender arrived at just the right moment. I got my wife a new bedside table, and when we got it in place, I realized the plugs are right behind it. It would have stuck out way too far from the wall, and she would have banged her knees every time she got in and out of bed. The stick isn't entirely flat, but it's definitely a lot thinner and closer to the wall than a regular outlet with regular plugs in it.The assembly is quick and easy. Just follow the included instructions, and each piece just clicks together. This one comes under the heading of "it just works" and I really appreciate that. I was able to put the extender in place and push the bedside table back against it, keeping it firm to the wall. The included wood screw allowed me to screw the extended end in at exactly the right height and angle.I love that there are USB A and C charging outlets, as well as regular outlets for plugs. We use a lot of electrical items in our homes, and this lets them all be plugged in, in one place.

Each are different design variations on the concept and each have features I like and each extender design could has room for improvement. This WELLTURN model provides a few new features I am sure their competitors will copy.One feature, very important to me, is so new the otherwise very good enclosed instructions do not illustrate or cover it. This model can be installed at any angle from the floor electric receptical over a 180 degree arc. One issue of this type of extender is you can really lose mechanical support provided by the wall outlet. As group, extenders usually offer two options to secure the extender to wall. Double sided adhesive pads/tape or small screws with plastic hole inserts for thinner walls and drywall. Wellturn also does this. My issue with the sticky pads is some can be removed with little damage to the wall and some will require paint on even repair to wall surfaces. Screws and inserts will also require this but I know, from experience, what will be required and I know the old fashioned screws provide better and safer support. You will note from the enclosed photos, the top of the WELLTURN extender outlet has a molded on bracket with space for one or even two screws to be mounted. WELLTURN also provides 2 screws and wall inserts. This is not covered in the instructions nor is this important feature shown on the packaging or, as above, in the instructions. Your ultimate choice should depend on your wall surface, but I like it when a seller improves a new to the market item. Thank you WELLTURN!Many extenders listed on Amazon cover up the second plug outlet and offer maybe only 2 options on the other end of the product. You only gain convenience of access' not additional 120 volt outlets. This extender allows use of the 2nd receptical position on the wall outlet near the floor. Besides the two USB A and 2 USB C outlets, you get 6 total plug recepticals- two on each side and two facing forward. A very novel feature is the small shelf option included with this package. While on the smaller side, the shelf is very will designed. It provides multiple USB or charging cable management/routing options. See the photos below. Finally, a lighted switch controls the entire outlet package. It is an all or nothing feature. Just keep it mind.One last thing, this extender is for 15 amp circuits only. See the packaging and instructions for limitations.You get quite a lot for your money. The platform option, to my knowledge, is a first. For its designed use around the home or office, I believe this extender provides an excellent value.

A product of this sort is a great idea. Its extension function and multiple outlets solves the problem of difficult-to-access electrical outlets, or of having too few in a given area. It's easy to assemble, and versatile in placement of the additional outlets it provides. It's also attractive.Unfortunately, on the one I received, it's not possible to plug in a USB-C cord to either of the USB-C outlets. Yes, I did check to make sure that they were correctly oriented, and I tried several different USB-C cords. I don't know about the USB-A outlets because I don't have any cords of that type.Because my principle purpose for this extender stick was for regular 110-volt outlets, I'm not going to bother with the inconvenience of returning it for a replacement. However, if you order one of these, you should check to make sure that everything correctly plugs into the outlets before you attach it to your wall.Apart from the problem I noted above, I would have given this a five-star review.

I've been wanting to install an outlet near the top of my night table for a while - up until now I had wires running from the top over the side to a power strip on the floor. When I saw this I thought it could solve this problem for me. But after receiving it and thinking about it for a bit, it may actually be a bit silly in most situations. It's basically a power strip with a non-flexible wire. If you're installing this over a table which has openings in the front that let you see through to the wall, then you might find this more attractive than a power strip with a wire hanging down. But my night tables have drawers and completely block the wall, so a power strip would have done the job just as well and would give me a bigger choice. The extendable tail (the portion that goes from the wall outlet to the main section) uses standard 3 pin IEC connections (the same type you'll find on any desktop computer), and it turned out I measured wrong; it was actually too short. So rather than using the included plug (which is a separate piece from the vertical section) I just plugged in an IEC cable with a 90° plug on the other end, and I can still push my table against the wall.My major concern is the complete lack of any UL certification. I'll use it, but I'm going to keep current draw to a minimum. A minor annoyance is the use of a white power indicator light; I like it close to pitch black when I'm going to sleep, and this light interferes with that somewhat. A red light would have been much better, although those seem to be out of fashion these days for anything except warnings.

This is a really useful outlet extender with a lot of flexibility in how and where you can use it. It has six AC outlets along with two USB-A and two USB-C ports, so it gives you plenty of additional places to plug things in without needing a separate power strip. You can use it at its shorter length or extend the pole when you need the outlets higher up and easier to reach.I especially like that there are different options for mounting it. It comes with adhesive hook-and-loop strips that you can attach to the extender and the wall, allowing you to secure it in place but still remove it when necessary. It also includes screws and wall anchors if you prefer a more permanent installation. Of course, you don't have to mount it at all if you simply want to use it as an extra power source.Another thoughtful feature is the rotating plug. The plug can rotate completely around, so the orientation of your wall outlet isn't going to dictate which direction the extender has to face. That's particularly useful with outlets that are installed in an unusual or upside-down orientation. Overall, this is a practical, versatile design with plenty of outlets and charging ports, and I don't have any complaints about it.

I got this outlet extender for my son’s dorm room because there are very few outlets available, and having a single wall outlet turned into several usable outlets is extremely helpful. Overall, it seems to work well and has some thoughtful features that make it particularly useful in a dorm setting.I really like the shelf on this unit. His bed is on risers, so there isn't a convenient place next to the bed to put a phone while it is charging. The shelf provides a small, dedicated spot for a phone or other small items while also putting the outlets within easy reach. That is probably my favorite feature of the whole extender.It also provides six AC outlets along with two USB-A and two USB-C ports, which gives plenty of options for charging multiple devices. The three-sided design is useful because it keeps everything from being crammed into one small area.One limitation I noticed is that large, box-style plugs cannot be used on the left side of the extender. Because of the way that side sits against the wall, a large plug would be too close to the wall to fit properly. Smaller plugs aren't an issue, but this is something to consider if several larger power adapters need to be plugged in.Another thing that surprised me is that the unit comes in four separate pieces and includes both screws and adhesive for securing it in place. I understand why this is helpful for keeping the extender stable, but it creates a problem for a dorm room. Students in his dorm are not allowed to use screws or adhesive on the walls, so those installation options may not actually be usable depending on the dorm's rules. The installation method is something I would definitely check before purchasing for a college dorm.One question I had when using it is whether this is actually a surge protector or simply an outlet extender with overload protection. The listing specifically mentions overload protection, but that is not necessarily the same thing as surge protection. For expensive electronics, I would want to know that distinction before relying on it as the primary protection for a computer, gaming system, television, or other sensitive equipment.Overall, this is a very useful outlet extender, especially for a space with limited outlets. The shelf is an excellent idea for a dorm room, and having both regular outlets and USB ports makes it much more convenient than a basic extension cord. TL;DR: Saved my cords and furniture from getting chewed up by a rotating corner chair while giving guests easy charging access right behind the cushions.Review:Having a rotating corner chair is great, but plugging anything in nearby used to be a real pain. The chair would constantly snag cords when turning, reaching the outlet was a chore, and having guests run extension cords across the floor was just annoying.This outlet extender turned out to be the perfect fix. Setup was effortless, it holds securely, and it offers more than enough extension length to tuck neatly behind my chair cushions. It even holds my smart plug without an issue. The included accessories are handy, the adjustable level shelf is a nice touch, and because it sits flush against the wall, my chair no longer rubs against plugged-in lamp cords. Definitely worth it just to keep my furniture intact!English isn't my main language, so I had a digital language helper smooth out my grammar—though the relief of saving my cords from my chair's appetite is 100% mine!
