Door Handles Interior

I used this on a hallway door, and it was exactly what I was looking for. The matte black finish looks clean and modern without showing fingerprints easily. It instantly made the door look more updated, and the round backplate gives it a simple, classic look.Installation was easy, and everything fit without any problems. The handle has a nice solid feel to it, turns smoothly, and doesn’t feel loose or flimsy. I also like that the latch is adjustable, which made it work with my existing door. If you’re replacing old builder-grade hardware, this is an easy upgrade that makes a big difference. I’d definitely buy this one again.

I don't like everything being matchy-matchy. I've always heard that variety is the spice of life, and my life hasn't been very spicy yet, so I'm branching out and embracing a little more variety. 😂I've been ordering different door handles for our new build, and no two styles are exactly alike. This is another one of the ones that have made the cut.It's heavy, feels solid in your hand, and doesn't have that lightweight feel that some door hardware does. The finish was even, and everything arrived without scratches or flaws.Now it gets to wait with the rest of the growing pile of fixtures until we finally start building. 🥂

I love the look! The handle feels well-constructed, heavy, and durable. The matte finish looks sharp, and it fits nicely into a standard door cutout with clean alignment. Visually, it is an excellent upgrade from standard round knobs. I love how it matches and compliments my home's decor.Normally, lever handles are chosen to improve accessibility over round knobs, however, this particular passage model is surprisingly difficult to turn. Based on my testing, it requires significantly more torque than a standard door knob, making it challenging for anyone who is mobility/strength challenged to operate comfortably.After investigating the mechanism and comparing it to other handles I am installing, I found the mechanical flaw... or "overkill" might be a better description. Most handles utilize a light return spring on just one side (either the "inside" or "outside" lever) allowing the spindle and latch bolt spring to do the rest of the work.In contrast, this passage handle features heavy chassis return springs on BOTH the interior and exterior handles (plus the lightweight internal spring controlling the latch bolt itself.) This "triple-spring" tension creates a high resistance threshold that defeats the ergonomic purpose of a lever handle. It may very well exceed standard 5 lb ADA operating force guidelines.My advice is this... if you are buying this for a household of strong adults who just want a heavy-duty, premium-feeling latch that won't sag, you will love it. However, if you are buying this specifically for accessibility, children, or elderly family members with limited hand strength, you should look elsewhere.However, if it may be that the heavy-duty tension might be perfectly suited for you in a high-traffic commercial building or an institutional setting. But for my purposes, it is simply too aggressive for a residential home. If you have children, elderly family members, or anyone with mobility and hand-strength challenges in your household, this handle requires far too much force to operate comfortably.Three and a half stars... rounded-up.

I ordered this for a coat closet in the newly purchased home that we will be gutting and renovating. It really is a lovely door handle! Since it's a passage lever with no lock, it's exactly what you want for a hallway or closet door. The modern matte black finish is beautiful and is going to look fantastic against our planned ivory trim. I really appreciate the heavy-duty zinc alloy construction. It feels incredibly solid in your hand, and the latch mechanism is nice and quiet. It's also fully reversible for left or right-handed doors, which takes the stress out of installation. It's a great, high-quality piece of hardware and I am excited to see it installed when we get to that part of our renovation.

I ordered the Rergy Gold Privacy Interior Door Handle with the lever handle to replace the old round door handle on our bedroom door, and what an improvement! It is a noticeable upgrade in style, comfort, and ease of use.The product specifications and images are accurate. The lever has a smooth finish and is comfortable to use. The handle came with installation instructions, although I didn't need them. Installation was very easy and straightforward. I only needed to provide my own flathead and Phillips-head screwdrivers.For my particular application, I found the included strike box unnecessary, so I did not use it. The privacy lock button works well, and the set also includes a tool for unlocking the door from the outside if necessary.The lever itself feels a little stiff when operated near the base, but it is easier to operate when pressure is applied toward the end of the handle. Everything appears to be very well made, and all the components fit together properly during installation.Overall, this is a stylish and functional upgrade from a traditional round doorknob. Installation was easy, the finish looks great, and the price point is excellent.
