It was compatible with my default battery. It worked great. It held charge a long time and charged my phone great. It was super easy to set up and use. The ports all worked great. It’s lightweight and portable. The LED light was super bright. I will use this all the time for projects outdoors or camping and if the power goes out! Great to have super useful.

This 250W power inverter is impressively small and portable, which makes it perfect for camping. It comes with an AC outlet, two USB‑A ports, a USB‑C port, and even a built‑in flashlight. I brought it with me on a two‑night trip, and it worked flawlessly as a compact power station. I was able to charge my phone using the outlet and still got “supercharging” speeds.Battery life depends entirely on the Milwaukee battery you use—brand, age, and number of discharges—but with my battery, I still had about half a charge left by the end of the trip. The voltage display is very helpful, and the auto‑shutoff feature gives peace of mind by preventing over‑discharge.My only critique is the flashlight. It’s extremely bright, but the beam is very narrow. Great for signaling or navigating dense forest paths, not so great for general lighting. A wider beam would make it more useful. Other than that, this is a fantastic little utility inverter.

This thing is awesome and I can imagine all sorts of uses for it. With your own charged up Milwaukee battery, you can take any electric tool (250W and below) and use it remotely. Game changer for our farm where we are often working in places without access to power. Yes, we own a lot of cordless tools, but this will be great for those random things that are electric but are still needed remotely from time to time. Besides, you can take this thing with a couple of charged batteries camping and be able to recharge a cell phone or run a fan or radio. It even has USB ports to charge phones or laptops. And as a bonus, there's a built in flashlight. Love!

I'm giving this 5 stars, but just know, I wouldn't put anything past 100w on this device. I say this because it's doesn't feel heavy duty and I would be worried about the protection if you went anywhere near their 250w "limit". Let me lay out what I think it does well and not so well:Pros:- It's a great backup in an emergency. Let's face it, if you have a pile of full DeWalt batteries sitting around and no electricity, you are going to be pretty mad you didn't think about a way to use them. That bridges that. It is 100% a last resort (or camping) scenario only.- For light duty usage, it works pretty good. I tested all 3 USBs (two USB-As and one USB-C) and they performed at their stated voltage. I was able to charge a phone at normal charging or about 14w. I couldn't get fast charging to kick in, but I didn't try a multitude of cords/bricks but I did try two and it seemed to max out at around 14w despite the upper limits of each brick at 20w. There are a lot of factors that go into fast charging, so I wouldn't take this as a negative. Trot this thing out in a sustained outage and a way to keep up to 4 devices charged at the same time? I don't care how slow this is, you are now the house hero.- The flashlight is a very good idea and bright. It says it's 30w which seems about right for 18 bulbs all about 2w. I would have liked a 15w setting to save battery, but again, in an emergency, nobody is worried about that.- It has one electrical 120v outlet. I would NOT put anything stressful in there. Maybe a fan at most. Definitely chargers are a good choice. It would probably handle a computer as well.- It has a voltage meter in LED. That's pretty helpful and shows it can take more than the "smaller" 20v batteries. It easily could have been a light for 20v/60v, but it works. There's two switches, one to turn it on and the other to turn on the flashlight.Cons:- It's light and feels cheap. I don't trust this for heavy duty items. Do not plug in anything that needs a lot of starting amps, it will probably fizzle everything.- It looks fine (DeWalt Yellow) but is not metal and not even heavy plastic- It shows somebody using this with power tools. I would not do this. Those tools are in the thousands of watts, far exceeding even the "250w" it states here.- The value for the money could be a bit better. I have no problem limiting my usage for lights, chargers and computers, but it probably should be a bit cheaper- The fit was not good at first. It needed a lot finesse (ramming) to get in a 3rd party battery. It finally caught and works well now. The battery life was excellent for the 9mAh I was using, barely touching the charge even after playing around and charging my phone for 30 minutes and turning on and off the lights. This is all dependent on your battery though.Again, this is great during an emergency. If it's too hot and you need to get a fan to cool yourself and charge your phones, it's perfect. Anything else, look to upgrade to 3x the cost of this. That's not to say this isn't doing anything wrong, it's just a limitation you should be aware of.Recommended.

This power inverter works with any size DeWalt 20v or bigger batteries for portable power. It has the matching Dewalt colors and blends right in with your other system tools.It does not include a battery or charger, which is perfectly fine for people using the Dewalt battery systems. The battery status alone is nice. The lights on the battery aren't enough to show what you have left sometimes, which makes this great for working at an unpowered site. Fit - the Dewalt or compatible non-branded batteries both work great and slide right in and out.It provides a useful way to power and charge devices where wall outlets are not available. The $39.99 price makes this an easy purchase.Recommend.

This is not something you should buy unless you already have some DeWalt batteries that you use for your tools. Even a knock-off battery costs as much as this light/charger. However, if you already have some batteries and you just want to use them for a light this works fine, but there are much better options.A 30W light with an included battery costs about 1/3 the price of this and is much less bulky. A usb battery pack costs about 1/2 of this and is much smaller. So there are really only two reasons you might want to buy this. You may want to use the inverter and/or you may want a bigger battery for charging your phones.With a battery attached this light/charger is really heavy, so it is not something you would backpack with. But if you are carrying it in a car or using it around the house during a power failure it has some advantages. With a large DeWalt battery you will be able to charge a lot of phones and the light will last for a while depending on the size of your battery. If you have a 6 Ah battery you can probably have light for several hours if you use it just for the light.The inverter, however, is not a pure sine wave inverter. I have not looked at the output on a scope, but it is likely either a square wave or sawtooth wave output. This type of inverter works fine for any resistive load (i.e., heater, toaster, etc.) but can cause problems with some electronic devices. It can damage some electronics, some it just leads to early demise, and many handle a non-sine wave inverter fine. But it is difficult to know which kind of electronics you have so I never use anything but a pure sine wave inverter.Overall, I don't think this is worth the money. But if you have a lot of DeWalt batteries it might be worth it to you. With several batteries you can charge a lot of phones.
