USB LED Puck Light

Got this to attach to my work desk for late nights when I need just a little extra light but nothing too bright, just enough for me to work! I like that it has a USB plug so you can plug it into your laptop, docking station or separately with an AC adaptor. Just remember because it's low voltage it works best with USB-A adaptors 12W or less. I plugged it into my regular 20W & it may have been too strong so on certain brightness levels (the lower ones) it will shut off & you have to re-plug it in to get it working again. With my 5V adaptor is operated as intended! Not a big deal but something to keep in mind.It has 3 main temperature colors; warm white, cool white & bright white. And you can adjust the intensity of any of those hues! The bonus is that the cord is long enough; a little over 6ft with the control buttons in the middle! Most lights like this the cord is only around 3ft or so. Comes with a double sided sticky pad to adhere to pretty much any surface and because you plug it it no need to worry about batteries! It's thin, unobtrusive and perfect for lighting small spaces! I recommend it for quality & value!

I’m always looking for small little gadgets, especially anything USB powered. When I go camping, I prefer to take a smaller USB battery pack or something like an EcoFlow to provide all of my lighting while dark. I don’t wanna have to change a bunch of batteries and mess with a bunch of different devices, I just want one battery station that I can plug everything into if needed.This USB battery powered light fit the bill perfectly. I actually put it on our table while eating dinner and then moved it to the tent later and it provided more than enough light for both areas. It ran all night and I still had 60% left on my 10,000 mAh battery pack, so the driver is very efficient and you will get an extended battery life. When it doesn’t detect motion, it will actually dim and preserve your battery life. When I got up in the middle of the night and started moving around, it automatically got brighter. The motion detection feature is pretty handy.The light is bright, but not too bright. It’s just enough to see what you’re doing and have a nice ambient light without blinding you. You could easily use this anywhere you need just a little bit of extra light and have an available plug or USB port.It’s visually appealing and the white blends in with a wall or desk. Should you want it near a computer or any other USB source.For the price, I was very satisfied with the value and really good runtime.

Perfect, bright, functional USB powered light. It turns out to be the same shape and size as the standard USB light sold by Bambu Labs, the 3d printer company, for different light projects. The hole spacing for the included screws is the same too! Only thing to keep in mind is that the controller is larger, since it is more feature rich with the dimming and color temp buttons. I was able to print one of the lamp projects from their site and use this light, I was just not able to fit the controller into the base as intended, but that's fine with me, and I can always design and print a new base later that fits. One thing I couldn't figure out at first, is that to use the screw holes you have to remove the lense of the light, you do this by unthreading the retaining ring around the outside of it. It also includes a double sided adhesive disc to mount the light without the screws. I also wanted to show the true difference in color temps. I used manual mode on my camera to hold it set a 4k white balance, and it shows a pretty accurate representation of what it looks like in real life. All pics were at max brightness. Note, it does not come with a power block, but most people have many spares, or you can plug into a computer, or USB A outlet featured on many power strips, and wall outlets these days.

I really like this light. It actually has a long enough cord for me to secure this centered on my large desk. I wrapped the cord around the desk and plugged it in behind it. So it's secured to the above book shelf section on the upper part of the desk- right above the head pointed down at the desk surface.It's great for adding light to the surface for doing work or crafts or just reading, it can also be used just to add extra light in the room, like a back light. It's dimable when needed, or pretty bright when needed. I love that versatility for when I need to adjust according to the situation. It's color changing and not just restricted to white. Very convenient. Very easy to use, the bar that controls the light sits perfectly out of view on the side of the desk. It has an adhesion pad that I used and it stays perfectly. Not falling a bit. You can also mount it on. You take the cover off the light and screw the base to the surface you want it on, then snap the cover back on the base so you can't see the screws. Quite a nice option really.It's a great size...any bigger would be too much. For the price being asked for this I find it completely reasonable. Well worth it. I'd get this any day.

I know this was marketed for under your cabinet, but I plan to use this when I need light in a pinch. All I need to have handy is a USB brick and electricity or a power bank. This comes with one adhesive pad that will easily let you put this on your counter in a perfect placement. Also this easily comes apart and you can screw it into a position, two screws are included.I like that this puts out 3 different color temperatures of light, which is blue white to very warm light. It also has long cord, which is about 6 ft, with the controls being about half way in the center. On the highest setting, this will easily light your surrounding area or you can dial it way down so it puts out very little light. This requires a power source of 2 to 3 W. So a USB connection on a Chromebook will not work but a charging port on a drive or a brick would have no problem using it. Also, I have a couple power Banks and this also easily supplies power to that, which is how I might most likely to use this, since this will be very easy to carry around and I always have a power bank with me on the go.I consider this to be a perfect size and a good value for your money.

They work great for the cost but I am concerned about how hot the pucks get after being on for a few hours. It is hot enough that you shouldn't touch with bare hands. I am using these for 3D printed lamps. I am concerned that it will warp or damage the lamps somehow. It hasn't yet, so that is good. That is why I gave 4 stars and not 5. It's supposed to be LED lights, so not sure why it's getting so hot.
