Durable protection and a genuinely secure grip

[Size: Medium]
These JDL Heavy-Duty Nitrile Chemical Gloves have held up exceptionally well for tougher tasks around the house and workshop. The nylon lining makes a noticeable difference compared to standard rubber gloves, offering a comfortable, breathable fit that makes them easy to slip on and off without feeling sticky. The sandy finish on the palms provides a fantastic non-slip grip, even when handling wet or oily items, and the extended cuffs offer reliable forearm protection against splashes. They are sturdy, well-constructed, and clearly built to last through repeated use without tearing. Highly recommended if you need dependable hand protection.

True to size and very durableTrue to size and very durable

[Size: Large, Size: Large]
My hands usually run between medium and large for gloves, and these Larges fit about right — loose enough to leave some wiggle room, but still snug enough to keep good dexterity, only feeling tight when I make a fist. The nylon lining makes a big difference getting them on and off (the outer coating clings to itself and the bag so well that I doubt I could work my hand in without it). The sandy-textured coating backs their non-slip claim up well, providing plenty of grip without getting in the way of dexterity. The large gloves measured about 13" long, landing right in the middle of the advertised 12–14" cuff range, and the opening flares out to roughly 6.5" across, leaving enough room at the wrist to fit over my watch. The nitrile held up well under a puncture test, too: pulling it across some sharp points stretched the material until it looked like the tips were about to poke through, but they never did, and it settled right back into shape without leaving any sign of where I'd pressed it. I didn't test them against anything stronger than bleach, but it's nice to have them around in case I need to deal with more caustic chemicals down the road.

Tough, Grippy Gloves for Messy Work

[Size: Large]
These JDL heavy-duty nitrile gloves have been a great addition to my work gear. The large size fits comfortably, and the nylon lining makes them much more comfortable to wear than a bare rubber glove, especially when working for longer periods. The sandy finish on the outside provides excellent grip. This is particularly useful when handling oily, wet, or slippery parts where a smooth glove can become difficult to control. The textured surface gives me much more confidence when picking up tools, containers, and equipment.I also like the heavier construction compared with thin disposable gloves. These feel designed for repeated use and are suitable for a variety of messy shop, maintenance, cleaning, and industrial tasks. The nitrile material provides a useful barrier against many common oils and chemicals, although I would always check the manufacturer's chemical-compatibility information before using them with a specific substance. The reusable design is another advantage. Instead of going through disposable gloves constantly, I can clean these up after appropriate jobs and keep them available for the next project. The nylon lining also makes them easier to put on and take off while adding some comfort. The black color and heavy-duty appearance give them a professional look, but more importantly, they feel durable and functional. The extended protection and textured palms and fingers are especially helpful when working around liquids or greasy components.Overall, these are sturdy, comfortable work gloves with excellent grip and good versatility. They're well suited for automotive work, maintenance, cleaning, handling oily parts, and other demanding tasks where a heavier reusable glove is preferable to a disposable one. A solid pair to keep in the workshop.

Durable and protective but the black material flakes

[Size: Large]
I used these for 3D resin printing. They work great for protecting hands from the resin however the black grippy material, while very grippy and helpful, flakes off when there’s any abrasion. I noticed tiny black flakes on my prints and it took me a minute to figure out it was from the gloves.I do quite like them for general use as they’re comfortable, durable, fit well without being overly tight, are easy to take on and off, and have the grippy part on the hands, but the flaking makes them tough to stomach for my printing. I’m going to switch to 100% nitrile gloves for resin use but use these for yard work or machine work where I just need liquid protection but still need full articulation of my hands.

Heavy-Duty Protective Cleaning GlovesHeavy-Duty Protective Cleaning Gloves

[Size: Medium, Size: Medium]
I have very sensitive, eczema-prone skin, but I'm also a frequent hand washer, which is a really bad combination, lol! I try to be more mindful about protecting my hands by wearing gloves while cleaning the kitchen, bathroom, my three dogs' messes, etc. Especially when using harsh products like shower cleaner and anything with bleach or acid. My regular household cleaning gloves sometimes get holes from my vigorous cleaning, but these JDL Heavy-Duty Nitrile Chemical Gloves are next-level in durability and protection. I love the grippy black palm and finger areas; you can get a secure grip on even the most slippery, heavy, or fragile items, like when I'm washing my heavy glass vases. They're a bit large on me, which I fully expected, as I wear a women's small glove. But I often buy one size bigger because it makes the gloves much easier to get on and take off, as my hands sweat a lot when I'm in full cleaning mode. The nylon liner also helps greatly, and these feel very comfortable and non-irritating on my skin. I like the teal color, and it also makes them easy to find in the dark cabinet under the sink. I'm also glad that they don't smell bad like some rubber gloves. These are great gloves for any cleaning job, and great protection for sensitive skin.

Worked Great

[Size: Medium]
These gloves were slightly large for my hands, but I do have smaller-than-average hands. Everyone else who tried them found the sizing to be pretty true to size, so I don't think the fit would be an issue for most people. The quality is excellent, and they've held up extremely well through a variety of cleaning tasks. I've used them for everything from everyday household cleaning to some truly messy jobs, and they've provided great protection while remaining comfortable to wear. The material is thick and durable without feeling overly stiff, so they're easy to work in for extended periods.I actually had to purchase a second pair because my first pair was quickly claimed for use in the garage. They've been used while cleaning automotive parts and handling some fairly aggressive solvents that destroyed several other pairs of gloves we had tried. These gloves handled the exposure exceptionally well and showed very little wear, which really impressed me.Overall, these are a high-quality, durable pair of gloves that perform well in both household and workshop settings. They're comfortable, well made, and tough enough to stand up to demanding jobs. If you're looking for reusable cleaning gloves that can handle everything from indoor chores to harsher garage projects, these are an excellent choice.

Awesome gloves that have actually been tested against most dangers and fit wellAwesome gloves tha...

[Size: Large, Size: Large]
At the current price of $15 for a single pair of gloves these are fairly expensive. These are much longer than most similar gloves and they are fairly thin and flexible. They fit my size large hand well with their size large gloves. They also have a nice nitrile type finish with a slight texture that aids in gripping items. The big difference is that they do actually meet some safety standards, unlike the ones I have purchased at the local big box store. I handle chemicals often and my main concerns are chemicals for my pool which include muriatic acid. The listing states that the gloves are unsuitable for prolonged exposure to concentrated sulfuric acid which is much stronger than the muriatic acid I handle. These gloves actually have been tested against concentrated Sulfuric Acid which is three times stronger than the pool acid that I handle. These gloves can prevent acid breakthrough for at least 30 minutes. It is nice to know I am protected in case of a spill. These gloves are easy to take on and off and have a longer sleeve and can be reused many times as they are easy to clean. I am happy to have them and know that they are actually resistant to things I might encounter. The only reason for 4 stars is just the price, otherwise they are a great item. The JDL Heavy-Duty Nitrile Chemical Gloves carry four key European EN standard certifications for chemical, biological, mechanical, and thermal protection:1. EN ISO 374-1:2016 / Type B (AJKL) – Chemical Protection: This standard rates chemical permeation resistance. A Type B rating means the glove material prevents chemical breakthrough for at least 30 minutes against a minimum of 3 standard reference chemicals. The letters AJKL specify the exact chemicals it was tested against:A: Methanol (Primary Alcohol)J: n-Heptane (Saturated Hydrocarbon / Solvent)K: Sodium Hydroxide 40% (Inorganic Base / Caustic)L: Sulfuric Acid 96% (Inorganic Mineral Acid)2. EN ISO 374-5:2016 (VIRUS) – Biological & Micro-organism Protection Confirms protection against bacteria, fungi, and viruses. To carry the VIRUS designation, the glove passed the ISO 16604 (Method B) viral penetration test, proving it acts as a barrier against microscopic pathogens under pressure.3. EN 388:2016 – 4121X – Mechanical Risk Protection: This 5-part code details physical durability against mechanical hazards:4 – Abrasion Resistance: Level 4 out of 4 (Maximum score; high resistance to rubbing and wear).1 – Blade Cut Resistance: Level 1 out of 5 (Basic cut protection).2 – Tear Resistance: Level 2 out of 4 (Moderate resistance to tearing).1 – Puncture Resistance: Level 1 out of 4 (Basic protection against sharp punctures).X – ISO Cut Test: Not tested or not applicable.4. EN 407 – X1XXXX – Thermal & Contact Heat Protection: This standard evaluates heat and flame resistance:X: Flammability / Resistance to burning (Not tested).1 – Contact Heat: Level 1 out of 4 (Protects against contact temperatures up to 100°C / 212°F for at least 15 seconds without inner temperature rising more than 10°C).X X X X: Convective heat, radiant heat, and molten metal splash tests (Not tested).
