I love the Green Glass

[Color: Green]
This vintage ceiling light is absolutely beautiful! I love the look of it, reminds me of light fixtures I remember seeing in my aunt's house when I was growing up. I have not installed this yet, this one is going in our new house. I'm very excited! The quality does seem to be quite good and the size is perfect I'm thinking for a hallway or bathroom. I do think that this is a good value light.

Gorgeous

[Color: Green]
I bought this ceiling light because I wanted a smaller fixture with more personality than a basic flush mount light, and the green glass shade is what really caught my attention. The floral shape and gold colored base give it a vintage look that works especially well in a hallway, bedroom, or other smaller space where a decorative fixture can stand out. It’s only about 5.35 inches wide, so it doesn’t overwhelm the room, but the taller design still gives it enough presence to look intentional rather than tiny. I appreciated that it comes with an E12 bulb, which meant I could install it and start using it without having to find a bulb separately. The light has a warm, decorative quality that works nicely in the evening, while using a compatible dimmable bulb gives you more control if you want to adjust the atmosphere. Installation was fairly straightforward with the included mounting hardware and instructions, although as with any ceiling fixture, I’d make sure the electrical box and wiring are suitable before installing it.

Great vintage look, easy to install

[Color: Green]
This light fixture is really very nice, with a classic vintage look to both the ribbed glass globe and the bronzed base and fittings. Installation is a snap for hooking to a standard ceiling electrical box; just use the included mounting strap and bolts for attaching the base, twist the hot, return and ground wires together with the house wire leads using the included wire nuts, screw in the led bulb and screw on the globe. We chose the green globe, which looks dark when not lit but which glows a nice creamy color when the bulb is on. I do recommend replacing the wall switch with an led-compataible dimmer if you don't already have one, but other than that there isn't anything special to do to have this lovely accent light glowing in your home. The price seems a bit high to me but not really out of line with similar fixtures in the big box stores, and the finished product is truly a nice addition to any room.

Nice vibes

[Color: Green]
This ceiling light adds a nice touch of color. The green glass gives off a warm glow. It looks great in my hallway and the included bulb is bright enough for everyday use, and the fixture feels pretty sturdy.Installation is easy but it is small, so it is better for smaller rooms or hallways. The gold finish also looks elegant! After I installed it created a cozy nice little vintage area. I really love the color!

Nice upgrade for the hallway

[Color: Green]
I've been slowly swapping out the builder-grade fixtures in our house, and this vintage gold and green glass one caught my wife's eye for the hallway. It's a small fixture at 5.35 inches, but it makes a bigger statement than I expected, the green glass has this nice antique look to it that photos don't fully capture.Installation was straightforward, took me maybe twenty minutes start to finish including swapping out the old fixture. The included bulb is bright enough for a hallway or entryway, though I wouldn't count on it alone to light up a bigger bedroom without some other lighting in the mix.My one complaint is the mounting hardware felt a little flimsy, nothing that's caused problems so far, but I was extra careful tightening everything down since it didn't feel as sturdy as I'd like for something hanging over a walkway. For the price, my wife's thrilled with how it upgraded the hallway, and I'd recommend it for anyone wanting an easy fixture swap with some character. Just don't expect it to be your main light source in a larger room.

Lovely light fixtureLovely light fixture

[Color: Green, Color: Green]
This light fixture is gorgeous. That being said, there are a few cons - the LED light bulb sent with the light gives it a blue-ish florescent hue that I don’t enjoy, I included one photo of this effect - it is the only one that looks blue/green. If looking for bulbs for this light, you will need chandelier size base and long/thin size bulbs to fit into the shade top which is quite a small hole for bulbs. The shade screws into the base which is kind of unusual, but works fine. The green glass is very nice and the fixture overall looks lovely.

Gorgeous!! Very impressed!

[Color: Green]
Wow! This light certainly is beautiful. The green glass is smooth and flawless and glows perfectly and evenly during my test. The gold finish features are intricate and truly lovely. And the globe threads on with METAL threads instead of those hyper delicate globes that have glass threads. Love that feature!Years ago, my husband and I had a vintage green milk-glass pendant light inherited from his Grandmother … it tragically was broken during a move. At the time, it was one of our favorite possessions, and we were heartbroken. When I saw this light, it was the only thing I had seen in years that reminded me of that old light so I knew I had to have it. Coincidentally, our common room is currently getting a major makeover… With deep dark green as the main color. So this will fit in beautifully and be a reminder of the light we lost. Our house is over 100 years old and we do not have a spot in the hallway for a hardwired light so I have ordered a conversion kit to easily make this into a plug-in pendant light. A reward, a treat to ourselves, for getting all of this work done and I cannot wait. The one downside, which really is no big deal at all, is the lightbulb that comes with it. I immediately recognized the issue because I had a similar lightbulb in a porch light we installed not long ago. The “three-way color“ option is a pain. They cannot be set to a preference before installing the bulb. They also don’t seem to have a memory or default so you have to constantly toggle the switch to get to the color you prefer. WHY anyone thought this type of control mechanism is a good idea, I’ll never know. It’s annoying. Maybe it’s me? Am I doing it wrong? 🤷‍♀️ That said, it’s simple enough to just get a different bulb and this light is so lovely that I certainly won’t hold it against them. Also pay close attention to the dimensions… this is not a large light. It’s not small either but it’s a unique size compared to other lights in my home. Its size is going to be perfect for our hallway, would be great for any area that needs a gorgeous light that is not oversized but it isn’t a large statement piece. Again, that’s perfect for many scenarios but not all.I was VERY excited to receive this and it does not disappoint. It’s simply lovely thru and thru. Great quality, attention to detail, extra thought and care shown in those metal threads to make it much more durable. Truly beautiful.

A Well-Made Vintage Fixture with Great Glass, But Toss the BulbA Well-Made Vintage Fixture with G...

Finding period-appropriate lighting for a 1912 historic home that doesn't feel cheap or flimsy can be a constant challenge. This 5.35-inch vintage semi-flush mount ceiling light is a very pleasant surprise, offering a genuinely well-made base and beautiful glass that perfectly suits a hallway, kitchen, or entryway.Beautiful Glass and Smart ManufacturingWorking daily in product design at Isolate IT makes me appreciate thoughtful manufacturing details that improve the end-user experience. The milk glass globe on this fixture is not only beautiful, casting a wonderful, even glow, but it also features high-quality metal threads for securing it to the base. This is a massive mechanical improvement over bare glass threads, ensuring a safe, secure, and easy installation without the fear of cross-threading or chipping the delicate globe. The core fixture itself feels surprisingly well-made and sturdy.Cheap Hardware and a Frustrating BulbHowever, the included accessories are where the budget price point becomes obvious. The mounting hardware provided in the box is decidedly cheap, so I highly recommend tossing the included wire nuts and using your own trusted connectors for a secure electrical install.More egregiously, the included E12 high-brightness LED bulb features an incredibly annoying 3-way color temperature cycle. Because the bulb lacks any sort of internal memory for your last preference, you are forced to quickly toggle your wall switch to cycle through the color warmth settings every single time you turn the light on. It is a completely unnecessary "feature" that makes everyday use frustrating.Final ThoughtsIf you simply throw out the frustrating color-cycling bulb immediately in favor of a standard E12 LED of your choice and use your own installation hardware, this becomes a fantastic fixture for the money. The well-made base and the securely threaded milk glass globe give it a premium, classic look on the ceiling that punches well above its price point.
