Warm Hands are Happy Hands!

[Size: Large]
These gloves are going to be excellent once the cold weather sets in! I really like the extra-long 15” design because it provides great coverage and should help keep the cold from getting in around the wrists. The thick insulation and faux mohair lining feel incredibly warm and cozy. The waterproof construction and super-grip palms are also going to be a huge plus for working outside in cold, wet weather. I’m looking forward to putting these to the test when winter arrives. They feel very well made and should be perfect for keeping my hands warm while still giving me a good grip when I’m working outdoors.

Great Fit, Good Quality, and Ready for Winter

[Size: Large]
I bought these specifically for outdoor work once winter hits, and so far I'm very impressed with the quality, fit, and overall construction. I ordered the Large and they fit great—snug enough to stay securely on my hands without feeling restrictive. The quality feels very good for a $20 pair of work gloves. The coating feels substantial, the interior is soft and well insulated, and they don't have the cheap or flimsy feel I've found with some inexpensive winter work gloves. They provide plenty of insulation without being so bulky that they're difficult to work in.Ease of use is another strong point. I can still move my fingers and grip tools comfortably, and the textured palms and fingers provide very good traction. That's important for winter work when you're handling shovels, tools, equipment, or anything else that may be wet or slippery.I also specifically wanted something with good water resistance. These have a coated exterior that should be much better around wet snow and slush than regular fabric winter gloves. I haven't had a Montana winter to really torture-test them yet, but the coating appears to provide very good protection from water while still leaving the gloves flexible enough to work in.For the price, I'm very happy with them and expect they'll get plenty of use once the snow and cold arrive.5 stars for quality, ease of use, fit, grip, and water resistance. They seem like a great pair of winter work gloves for the money.

Long Waterproof Winter Gloves That Keep My Hands Warm but Still Dexterous

[Size: Large]
These faux mohair winter gloves are seriously impressive. Snow usually ends up inside regular gloves when shoveling the driveway or front porch, but these reach almost up to the elbow and create a much better barrier. They’re fully waterproof and very warm, which makes working outside in snowy conditions far more comfortable. They’ve been especially useful on winter trips to the mountains for skiing. When it’s time to put on or take off tire chains at a cold, wet roadside stop, hands normally get numb fast. These gloves are thin enough to keep good dexterity for tasks like handling chains, but also warm enough that hands don’t freeze during the process. That combination of warmth and flexibility is a big advantage over bulkier gloves that make it hard to grip and manipulate things. The material feels soft and comfortable, and the overall design makes them well suited for any outdoor winter work or activities where both protection and finger movement are important. For someone frequently dealing with snow and cold, they feel like a genuine upgrade.

Warm, Waterproof Gloves - Even protect against hot water, but too small & too large (simultaneous...

[Size: Large, Size: Large]
PROs:* Pretty warm (wore them reorganizing some items in the freezer)* Waterproof* Even protect against heat (wore while running hot water over them)* Furry liningCONs:* Tight, especially in the fingers* Loose, especially in the fingertips* Minimal furry liningThe strange thing about these gloves is that they are tight on the fingers AND loose on the fingertips at the same time. They are snug-fitting if I hold my hands relaxed, and that isn't too bad. But, when I make a fist (or otherwise close my hand), it really gets tight. And that's not a position I would want to hold for very long (even a minute or two). Considering that I would need to be holding my hand closed against a shovel if I was shoveling snow, that doesn't work well if I have more than 30 seconds worth of snow to move.At the same time that they are tight, they are also too loose. In Photo 5, I show how I am able to fold over half an inch or so on the thumb of my gloves (and it is the same or more on the fingers). And that is while my thumb is actually up against the INNER lining. It may be that the design of the glove has that extra space for insulation. Unfortunately, that also makes it much less useful; the glove needs to be solid—not floppy—in order for me to hold onto and manipulate items with my hands. The 6 photos I am including are described as follows:1 – The box with the gloves in them2 – Out of the box, showing one glove from the front and the other from the back3 – Back of gloves while wearing them; notice how tight the right glove is on the knuckles (the main ones AND the ones in the middle of the fingers)4 – Front of one glove while wearing it5 – Highlighting area (and enhancing brightness / intensity) to show tips of fingers are too long (this is squashing the thumb)6 – Gloves folded to show inside liningSo I have a pair of gloves with pretty good protection against the cold (and even insulating against hot water), but ONLY if I don't need to actively grip things for very long. Which means, unfortunately, that they are quite limited in how I can use them.

Nice gloves when working in cold wet weatherNice gloves when working in cold wet weather

[Size: Large, Size: Large]
These gloves are a game changer when working in the cold and doing anything that involves a garden hose or getting your hands wet in general. This is my first pair of “elbow” length. I’ve worn the regular length in these gloves during fall and winter the past few years, mainly for watering animals. I find that my hands stay warmer and warmer longer with a bigger/loose fit so I always order size large(for reference: my regular glove size is womens medium & men’s small )These gloves keep my hands dry, warm and comfortable enough in temps above freezing, as long as I’m moving…..they aren’t the greatest at keeping hands comfortably warm for extended periods of time once it gets below freezing. When it gets down into the single digits I know I’ve got about 20-30 min before I start to lose feeling in my fingers.*So just keep in mind that the definition of “winter work gloves” differs depending on where you live. Also, these are NOT “snow/ski gloves”…. they are “work gloves”. They ARE insulated for warmth but they’re still essentially lined rubber gloves…I definitely would NOT recommend for making a snowman or shoveling.Excellent work gloves, durable and don’t puncture or rip easily…unless you accidentally put a screw through them, which I have done to at least 2 pairs now. Good thing they’re bargain priced. 100% recommend

Exceptional 15" Coverage — Truly Waterproof, Super Warm, and Heavy Duty!

[Size: Large]
Provides incredible forearm protection, keeping snow, slush, and freezing water completely out of your sleeves. The external coating seals out moisture perfectly during wet winter tasks. The interior is incredibly plush, soft, and traps body heat flawlessly for maximum warmth. The outer surface features a rugged, non-slip texture that maintains a solid hold even on icy or wet tools. Because the waterproofing and mohair insulation are so thick, it can be a bit tough to handle tiny screws or intricate tasks. I put winter gear through rigorous testing, and these JDL 15" Faux Mohair Winter Work Gloves are an absolute powerhouse for cold-weather utility. If you have to do heavy outdoor chores, plumbing, or snow removal in freezing, wet conditions, these gloves are a total gamechanger. The standout feature is definitely the 15-inch length. Most standard winter work gloves stop right at the wrist, which allows snow or freezing water to leak down into your jacket. These extend far up the forearm, creating a completely seamless, impervious shield. I tested the waterproofing, and it is flawless—moisture beads right off the outer shell, keeping your hands bone dry even when submerged or spraying down equipment. Inside, the faux mohair lining feels premium. It is incredibly soft against the skin (no scratchiness at all) and does a phenomenal job of trapping warmth. Even in sub-freezing temperatures, my hands stayed completely toasty without sweating. Despite the heavy insulation, the gloves don't feel suffocating, and the cuffs are wide enough to easily pull over thick jacket sleeves. The outer coating is highly durable and resilient against abrasions. It features a fantastic tactile grip texture, which is critical because wet or icy tools become incredibly slick. You do sacrifice a bit of fine-finger dexterity due to how thick and heavy-duty the layers are, but for shoveling, moving wood, handling frozen pipes, or operating machinery, the grip and protection are top-tier. If you need serious, rugged, elbow-deep protection against the absolute worst winter weather, these gloves are worth every penny!

Love these gloves! They really protect my hands when doing freezer work!Love these gloves! They...

[Size: Large, Size: Large]
I selected these gloves for my husband to work in the skid steer during the winter months. These are going to work perfectly for him as he is composting adding water to the material - the over spray enters the cab -which freezes on his hands. These gloves will protect his hands well.He typically does wear a large glove. We did find that these were a little longer in the finger. So he could wear another layer underneath. However these have a very nice soft lining inside. So that . So that is unnecessary. He likes that it has a grippy fingers and palm. He also likes the length of the gloves and the flexible adjustable strap to snug them to his coat.Me... I am liking these for cleaning out the freezers to defrost them! brrrr!I'm always freezing my fingers off twice a year getting this job done. No more! These are PERFECT for this application! My child sized hands are dwarfed in the large but I don't care! Between the black grip part and the long length (going to the crook of my arm) with the adjustable strap to hold it on... I'm good! This glove isn't going anywhere!I find these easy to work in while doing freezer work. They are warm and comfortable. Plastic bags slick with ice stay in my hands with the grippy black covering the fingers and palm. Protecting my hands quite well in an otherwise cold wet slippery job. less issues with dropping bags of food from our gardens I had carefully preserved.I will be looking for a pair in size small to keep with the freezers. While borrowing these from my husband before he begins using them for composting worked fine this time... I'd like my own "clean" pair dedicated to freezer work.
