Runs good in a hand-masker. Pulls fast. Decent stick

TAPEBEAR Masking Tape with Dispenser, 1.88" x 60 Yards - I put this tape into use very shortly after receiving it as I had projects awaiting. I do not like the dispenser style that came with the six rolls; it is annoying at best as well as cumbersome. I prefer peel and stick by hand (it's more accurate). Having said that, I found the tape would tear on occasion, more-so than on other brands I have used, as though it had already been aged. Beyond that, the tape performed well and was easy to remove after the job was done; minimal paint bleed. At ~$29 US, I cannot say it's a great value, but the width I ordered certainly contributed to the price considerations (so I will give that a pass in rating). Should not be used for packaging as that's not its intended purpose; it's MASKING tape for covering what should not be painted and otherwise protected.

I normally buy the blue 3M stuff at Costco. They don’t always have it, sometimes for what seems like a year. Anyway, when I was down to my last two rolls by chance I was offered this by Amazon in exchange for a honest users review.I primarily use masking tape when I dye footwear. Mask the upper when I’m dying the welts and soles and vice-versa when I’m dying the upper. I like the blue tape by 3M because I can always get the residue off, in fact it mostly leaves zero residue which is even better. But, the stick of the blue tape is a bit on the soft side, especially when used around the tight curves of a shoe’s soles and uppers. So, as good as the 3M tape is it has an achilles heel regarding tight curves with surfaces it not always easily adheres to. I still make it work by applying exact pressure twice or more all the way around to where it will stay stuck. As stated it never leaves any pieces or sticky residue. With the above as my personal benchmark how does this TapeBear tape compare? I’m giving it the same 4-stars as the blue stuff by 3M as it is extremely similar. I like the width and the quantity here as it gives more for less comparatively speaking.
Good tape for those fast projects around the house.
Needed this for taping over honeybee queen cage candy to slow the bees down from eating the candy too fast. Some tape is too thick and the bees won’t chew thru it but this is perfect 👍🏻

Use for time/date labels in fridge. It’s cheap and works for short term. Long term it leaves residue

Great for an event where we taped to bake covers to chairs. Thank you.
