One of my flower beds had large full beautiful hosta early in the summer. Unfortunately, the deer got into them and most of the lovely, variegated leaves were gone. So, I ordered this light and some netting in hopes of keeping the deer out of my hosta! With the help of our neighbor, my husband installed the light for me so it would shine directly down onto the hosta. I also laid the netting over what was left of my poor plants. This 30W flood light is very bright and stays on all night, so it serves as somewhat of a deterrent for the deer. Between the netting and the light, my hosta are slowly recovering. To be as small as it is, it definitely puts out a considerable amount of light! You just need to know how to wire it and I appreciated our neighbor’s help with that part of the installation. I highly recommend this light if you need a light that stays on all night and you have some expertise in wiring!

I ordered the led flood light. It's small but mighty and bright! I was offered this through Amazon Vine.Our yard had a side that wasn't lit up anymore. The old motion sensor light burnt out some time ago.We could never see where the dogs were at night in our cameras.I took down the old light socket. I also removed the old motion sensor. I put the new light in its place. It says it's dusk to dawn. I have noticed it comes on a little early and stays on past dawn. But that's better than it being on all day.I definitely recommend this light. It's a good value for the price point.

Needed a flood light for the backyard and this efficient 30W option was perfect. The aluminum housing is solid and well-sealed against rain to ensure an IP65 waterproof rating. The light functions purely on a photocell sensor that turns the fixture on at dusk and off at dawn. The LEDs are built into the unit to provide a long life, so you do not have to worry about replacing bulbs out in the yard. Note, this is not motion-activated, meaning it will stay illuminated consistently throughout the entire night. The adjustable knuckle mount uses metal threads that lock down tightly to hold the beam angle securely. The internal wiring connections are thick enough to handle the universal voltage range safely. Here is something you might find helpful: the wall mount plate does not come with this, so you will need to provide your own because it just terminates with the threads as my picture shows.
