I removed one star for not including the batteries because it annoyed me.Otherwise, these are fantastic LED lights for adding some accent lighting indoors. I originally wanted to use them outside but they are not rated for outdoor use, so I'll keep them inside.Each light comes with its own remote, although I found that if the lights are placed too close together, one remote can control both lights.The remotes also don't come with batteries and each one needs two AAA batteries. I honestly wish they would have just included them. When you're buying batteries in bulk I can't imagine two AAA batteries add that much to the cost. It would have been nice to pull these out of the box and be able to use everything right away.The lights can be turned on and off using either the remote or the foot switch which is convenient depending on where you have them placed.The remote gives you plenty of control over the lights. You can adjust the brightness and color, set a timer, and choose from different lighting effects.They work really well for indoor accent lighting and give you plenty of options to customize the look. Just have a couple of AAA batteries handy when you open the box.

Build quality and appearance of the cans themselves is solid, and the brightness range along with the multiple color options gives real flexibility for different rooms or moods, all easily managed through the included remote. The main issue is stability: the can is lightweight, and the standard, fairly stiff power cord doesn't flex easily, so any twisting or tugging on the cord tends to tilt or knock the light over rather than the base holding firm. You can work around this by bending or securing the cord, but around kids, pets, or robot vacuums, it's still an easy target to tip. A braided, more flexible cord or some added weight in the base would go a long way toward fixing this. The timer function is a genuinely useful feature for automating the lighting, though at this price point smart home integration would have been a nice addition rather than remote-only control.Pros:- Solid build quality on the light cans themselves- Good brightness range and multiple color options- Timer function is useful for automationCons:- Lightweight can combined with a stiff, inflexible cord makes it easy to tip over, especially around kids or pets- No smart home integration at this price pointVerdict: a well-functioning accent light with genuinely useful features, held back by stability issues from the cord and can weight, plus the absence of smart home support. 2 Pack Uplights Indoor Floor Can Lights, Remote and Timer: So I got these for our church stage just to add a little bit of accent to the back wall. They are pretty bright and even with the lights on in the sancuary they shine up to a 18 foot ceiling, while creating a bit of textured look on the wall. They are pretty standard in that you can get about a half dozen colors out of them, they can rotate through the colors automaticaly, and adjust the temperature and brightness. However you can not mix colors to make you own. Also, there is no way to adjust the width of the light beam. That said, I think most lights like these have similar limits. The lights are made well, they are very simple looking, simple to opperate, the cords come with foot switches on them, and they become pretty inconspicuous against a white wall. While the listing does not indicate it, this pair of lights comes with two remotes. Each remote can control all of the functions, and are interchangable. One remote can control both lights. At the time of purchase these were slightly on the higher end of the price range for lights thatr are similar.

This 2 pack of Konvixon Uplights is a solid set of uplights, and do what they claim, but have frustrating details.The good: they appear to be made well enough, and they don't flicker when dimmed. Set a foot or two from the wall, they cast a nice even light.The bad: I'd love to really like these but I'm just underwhelmed and frustrated when they don't work how you would expect. They're not bad, they're just not great.Unfortunately these uplights don't really have much else going for them, especially at list price. First off, unless you want the lights to come on at anything other than 3000k and 100% brightness, you have to use the one of the included remotes. (they DON'T come with the two AAA batteries required for each remote). Using the foot switch (or any other method of removing power from the whole light) to turn them off and on again resets them to that default. The lights have some memory while the switch is on, but as soon as you use the foot switch they reset. Both lights will operate from a single remote, which can sometimes be nice but more often a royal pain depending on if you want to have them operate ...mostly... at the same time. It as a line of sight (IR?) remote so if one isn't within the remote's view it won't work. One of the two lights I got responded 98% of the time, and the other maybe 85% when I was within 10' and had an unobstructed view of them, using either remote. That rate went down with more distance and obstacles. I suspect that a bunch of these lights could all be controlled by the same remote, but that would multiply the frustration.They put out a good bit of light in each mode so you may end up wanting to dim them. A dedicated dial or switch or at least a full memory of the last mode would have been a welcome inclusion so you don't /need/ the remote.Color rendition index of the white modes is hard to really test without the proper instruments, but rendition was noticeably better to the eye than what we would see from bulbs listed as being ~80 CRI.The RGB mode is definitely more useful for lights in this form factor than many other formats--a wash of color on a wall or piece of art can be useful far more in an uplight than you might have need for it in other settings. That RGB mode is where the most frustration occurs, though. It only has two buttons to toggle through various modes, and you can't control the R, G and B independently so you're stuck with the options on the remote. There are a few animated chases--the typical rainbow, and a rather jarring slideshow of different colors. Meh, but they work.The more useful aspect (in my opinion) of a single fixed color is somehow even more frustrating. You repeatedly press the RGB button on the remote to cycle through red, an amber orange, yellow, green, blue, a very blue white that isnt' indigo, and a very purple violet. The odd colors aren't too surprising with RGB LEDs. Unfortunately if you have two or more of the lights in a location where they sometimes but not always both get the remote's signal, they will get out of sync. The way the remote seems to work when switching colors is to just tell the lights to go to the next color in the sequence. If you power cycle them with the foot switch, you start over at 3000k white, then the first press of the RGB button takes them to red. But the light you didn't power cycle will have kept going from wherever it had been, so they're out of sync, and because they didn't always get all of the signals they. kept. getting. out. of. sync.I'll probably keep them in warm white mode most of the time so it won't be as much of an issue, but for those who want to play with the colors frequently I know it would continue to be a frustration.I'd much rather pay another five or ten bucks or so to get an IoT version of these, as I could hopefully then control the colors and presets better.The timer is probably nice, but remember that you will have to set it on each of the lights. Setting the color temperature /color mode is something I'd much rather do once and then not have to fuss with each time I turn them on. There's no way to choose a specific color directly, just cycle through a

These uplight indoor floor can lights are super powerful. I was and am so surprised how much light they put out. The remotes are paired to its own can (so don't worry if the first remote used doesn't do anything - its got to match its partner!).I wanted an easy way to add some accent lighting in a couple of dark spaces without installing anything permanent. I figured these would be useful for highlighting plants, artwork, or just adding some light to areas that feel a little dark. And wow - I had no idea they would be so strong and colorful -they are really bright, and have a warm mode and I can control how much brightness - and they are so easy to install and really shine a lot of light without blinding us. Great feature and this 2 set is so practical - the foot pedal control is a great feature and impressive idea!What I Like Most-- They really change the space with the light they put out once they're in place: The lights do a nice job of directing attention exactly where I want it, whether that's a plant, artwork, a wall, or a corner of the room.-- A surprising amount of lighting options: I can use regular white light and adjust it from warm to cool, or switch to colors when I want something more decorative by remote - such a great feature. The brightness is adjustable, too.--The foot switch is a great touch: I didn't realize how convenient this would be. Wasn't sure at first why this would be a good option - and now I get it. I can turn the lights on and off with my foot without having to bend down and reach for the light.-- These remotes (there are 2) need AAA batteries, 4 in total (2 per remote) and make adjustments easy: I can change the color, brightness, and mode from across the room. Having two remotes is also convenient since I can keep one with each light.-- Pretty Long cords: There is 6.5' of cords which does give alot of options for positioning the lights without having to place them right next to an outlet.-- The surprisingly exciting feature is the timer and memory - they are so are useful: I like being able to set the lights to shut off automatically, and they remember my previous settings when I turn them back on.-- Simple, modern appearance; Love the simple, modern looking white aluminum housings look clean and doesn't take attention away from the highlighted area and/or object.Only One Thing to KnowThe remotes does need those 2 AAA batteries, which aren't included. The lights themselves are plug-in, so these aren't cordless.Bottom Line - installation is literally a plug in and light up - These turned out to be a simple and versatile way to add some personality and extra lighting to a room. I especially like being able to switch between normal white accent lighting to the colors, depending on what is going on in and around the areas they are in. The foot switches are a convenient feature I never knew I needed!They're easy to move around, don't require installation, and give me plenty of ways to change the look of a room. A nice little lighting upgrade when you want something more interesting than a basic lamp.

absolutely fantastic highly recommend this floor can light. They look amazing beside my tv stand and slightly shining up behind it on the ceiling make for a nice movie night. dim them low and it's a nice theatrical appearance. They are nice and bright when you want them to be and can lower it down to a slight dim where it is just barely lighting up the wall behind your tv and slightly lighting up the ceiling. Perfect i can't rave enough about how much I love these. I hooked them up as soon as they got in because I wanted to seriously try them out right away. They come with 2 remotes which at first I felt a little frustrated that i may need to turn each with its own remote but that is not the case at all. So, with the use of one remote, you can put the other away for safe keeping in case you somehow lose one you will have a spare fantastic. I did notice one time it changed one light but the other stayed behind and when trying to switch thema gain the other always stayed one behind. I then hit the button a few times in a row, and it reset itself, so they were in sync again. highly recommend If you are wanting to add some nice lighting to your movie night backdrop or honestly just for appearnace sake they are wonderful either way.
